Paul was kind and helpful when conducting property viewings and Jasmine was great and prompt at fixing issues during the tenancy. Paperwork was effortless and minimal and checking out post tenancy was an easy process. Best estate agent to buy or sale with! We have just sold our flat through Kendrick's, and our agent Dan went above and beyond to make sure everything went well for us and our buyers. Dan, Paul and the team were great from day 1. Honest valuation of our property, quickly took photos and drone shots and had a potential buyer lined up before we were even on line! Consistent communication and always felt I knew what was going on. Sale offer happened with the Initial 10 weeks and through to exchange was kept informed and advised where necessary. Please consider this warning if you are a student. Despite reporting issues like dampness in our property and bedrooms for over eight months, no corrective actions have been taken. I have regularly contacted the lettings team and emailed maintenance about damp, mould, and various health and safety hazards, but these concerns have not been prioritised or addressed. The property fails to meet health and safety standards, and our complaints seem to be disregarded. Our in-person efforts to discuss these problems were met with scripted responses, showing a lack of empathy for the distress and frustration we've experienced. It appears the only time the team shows concern is when it's time to collect rent. I advise students to seek accommodation elsewhere.... Read more

Kendrick Property Service is horrible.The most horrible and pathetic Property service that I have ever come across. Any opportunity that you get to go with another agency in Brighton definitely go for them and AVOID these people at all costs. They came into my house without my permission and I asked one of their "proffessional" staff over the phone how many people came into my home without my knowldge and she replied "I dont know" very nonchalantly. I asked to speak to a manager because the phone call was going nowhere. The manager was even more unprofessional and was exremely rude to me. ive been struggling With a mold problem and they dont fix any thing. I was threatned over the phone. Any international students or anyone coming from different countries stay away from them they are very racist. They are unprofessional and will do nothing to help you if you have a problem.... They were transparent, friendly and respectful, listened to what we needed and wanted, and helped us achieve a lifelong dream together. As first-time buyers, my partner and I were nervous about buying our first home and not sure what to expect or how to move through all of the steps. Dan has been absolutely fantastic to work with from the word go, when he first showed us round our dream home. He has been kind, professional, quick to act on everything, a great go-between with our vendors and very sensitive to our needs. Dan really took the fear factor out of the equation for us, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kendricks. Paul, the owner, was also fantastic to work with. At no point did we feel pressured to take on in-house services, unlike other agents we dealt with. Kendricks provide an ethical, friendly and very responsive service. Terrible letting agents. When I was first viewing a property the man I spoke to who was showing me the house actually scammed me with a whole painted lie just to sell the house. He lied to us about the price of the house saying it would be £520pm, and also said we had the option to pay £30 for all-inclusive bills. But one week before we had to sign the contracts they upped the price to £640pm (not including bills). Then told us we had to sort out our own bills outside of the letting agent. Communication with this letting agent is poor, they do not care about our queries or complaints we have complained for 3 months now about how they promised us the house would be cleaned before we moved in and it was not cleaned as there was mould everywhere, the floor wasn’t hoovered, the mattresses had questionable stains on them of all sorts of colours, etc. They also made up a lie that they would take down this cave (which I’m pretty sure has asbestos brewing inside) and replace it with another room which they didn’t and that would have been fine but they didn’t need to lie. Members of my house have been blocked when trying to contact the employees at Kendrick’s. To cut the endless amount of problems with this letting agent short, I will give a summary; little to no communication from them, no resolution of conflict, any issues you have will not get sorted even if it could endanger your body, they will scam you and come up with insufficient hacks just to get you to shut up. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS BUSINESS IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TAKEN FOR A MUG. I wish I could give them 0 stars.... Read more

We bought a property through Kendrick’s and all I can say is a huge thank you to both Paul and Dan who held my hand every step of the way . It’s always stressful when you are buying and selling with so much uncertainty but whenever I had a wobble they were there at the end of the phone and always supported me. It’s hard to know who to choose when buying and selling however I would recommend Dan and Kendrick’s (in fact I already have and here I am doing so again!). We met multiple agents throughout our sale and search and without doubt Dan was the best. We recently bought our first home that Kendrick’s were the agents for. Not long into the process, we wished we had also listed the property we were selling with them (our agents were often unresponsive and disinterested). And it’s for this reason I am thankful to Dan and the Kendrick’s team and recommend them. I experienced professionals who acted with integrity and who genuinely cared about the sellers and us as buyers. We were aware of the history and how significant the sale was for the vendor (Dan has agreed to share some updates of the work we complete with her). We needed to arrange quite a number of visits to the property for surveyors and trades to provide quotes, all of which were accommodated without delay by Dan or the team. During difficult parts of the process it was Dan and our conveyancer that kept us updated, kept things moving and provided some reassurance that we would get there in the end! I can understand why people say “I’m never moving again” once completed. While I hope I don’t move again for a long time, it would feel far less daunting with Dan and the Kendrick’s team on board!... Having never experienced selling a property, to say I was apprehensive when aiding my mum in the sale of her property after the passing of my father would be an understatement! However, Dan has been indispensable, walking us through each stage and keeping us updated at every step. Despite a few hiccups and hurdles along the way we have now successfully exchanged contracts. My parents had been considering selling the house prior to my fathers death and my dad has selected Kendricks as agents back in 2019, I was overwhelmed when both Paul and Dan remembered him all this time later.
