Fantastic agent, they managed to find tenants for my flat very quickly. I was relocating with my job so they made the whole process very simple for me. Highly recommended if you are a landlord looking for a letting agent.
Very poor service. Please don't sell your property with them
Friendly west end agent, now serving the city centre.
Feel I should share my awful experience in Bryes road. Two female staff were very rude. One flat with several notes of interest went to a dealer - later checked & it was sold for under the Home report (something I was told never happens in West End) Then another in similiar area I couldn’t get to see, next thing it was reduced & sold! I would have paid full price. I have spoken to others who have been in here & they also said how impolite the staff were. Would advise to sell with other estate agents & trying to buy sounds as though a dealer might have better luck.
I have recently purchased a small flat and Sheena Peat was my contact with the agency. She kept me up-to-date with developments and her communication skills are second to none (my solicitor said so too). Buying a property can be stressful but Sheena managed to streamline the whole process. Thanks for making it as easy as possible Sheena.

Avoid this company at all costs! They have left me without hot running water for two months over the course of my tenancy and refused to replace the faulty Boiler when it was condemned as dangerous for nearly 2 years! They currently have an Abatement notice, served to them by environmental health, due to water Ingress in the flat. This was reported over two months ago also! I Haven't had working electrics for over a month and that is only just getting seen to. The quality of the work is poor, cowboy at best and the "I don't know anything about it" attitude from the staff is just unacceptable. I am considered a vulnerable persons because of medical issues and Cairn do not seem to care about anything I ever approach them with. When I claimed I had a legal right under common law article 8 of the housing act 2001 to withhold rent until maintence was completed they claimed that was not the case. This company are just flat out money grabbers and liars and couldn't care less about their tenants, they just want to get there pay checks and come Friday they just wash their hands of everything until the Monday morning. They are not professional, courteous or efficient. My previous one star review was met with a phone call from Cairn essentially intimidating me to remove it. Well after this latest issue this review will be staying here and going on every other review site I can find. Cairn properties are an awful, horrid, stressful company to work with and they have been making my medical issues get worse over the last year. Just do not waste your time and go directly to a landlord. Not this excuse of a company. They should all be ashamed of themselves but clearly are not....I would give them minus 5 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs! Your health will benefit!
Renting my property couldn't have been easier with Ivy. Extrememely helpful with every part of it, Clare was absolutely fantastic, very professional, efficient and what I thought was going to be stressful, was nothing of the sort!
AVOID. A friend was forced to pay the council tax on a property when he wasn't able to live in it, due to flooding.
After trying the local property sale sites, I decided to go with The Estate Agency Company. Had a brilliant experience with this company including improved property photograph, and better market coverage via Zoopla and Rightmove. Lewis was great to deal with and I got lots of interest and a sale on my property. Thanks guys!
I have recently attempted to buy a property marketed by this company. The way, the company, and Lewis Murphy have conducted business and treated myself has been completely unethical and unprofessional.
I had my offer accepted verbally yesterday morning with it also being submitted in writing by my solicitor. I have now been told today that they have now received and accepted another offer on the property. Because it was only a verbal acceptance I cannot do anything but this is simply not how you conduct business and the correct thing to do after accepting my offer would be to mark it under offer and not entertain any further offers for the property.
The way I have been treated is terrible and I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am gutted and I hope that no-one else has to go through this experience.
