We recently moved into our beautiful new home. Well, actually it"s a very old house from 1560 but still beautiful and full of charm. Right from the start of our search Hamptons were extremely helpful, professional and courteous and a special mention must go to Tommy Jones who went above and beyond with all our interactions. He regularly liaised with the vendors and got back to us very promptly. He kept the confidences of both ourselves and the vendors and was the consulate professional at all times. I had previously listed my house for sale with another well known Horsham based agent. Over a period of a few months, there had been several viewings, but no nibbles! I decided to switch agent to Hamptons, following various recommendations from friends. Within a few days, Hamptons showed the house to a cash buyer, and despite my house being the first they had viewed, they offered within 2% of the asking price, and they turned out to be dream zero-hassle buyers. Special mention to Tommy Jones and Mark Wheeler at Hamptons - very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I have used Hamptons Letting for many years and have always been looked after very well.
Recently they suggested a short term let on my rental in Birdham, as they now have it on the market, and it is not yet under offer.
Within two days they presented me with a Prospective Tenant, and rapidly climbed small mountains to ensure I had all the information and references needed to make a rapid decision.
The lease ,and the inventory inspection and handover happened within three days ,and the client is now in and settled.
I have never experienced a more competent and friendly team
in this industry.

I’ve recently sold my property with Hamptons, and the estate agent Tommy that I worked with at the Horsham branch was fantastic! We had a pleasant experience with the team Hampton being led by Jenna.
We are South Africans coming in to work in the UK. We managed to send our enquiry and Jenna responded the same day. Viewing was on day 2 and we paid our holding deposit. Day 3 we paid the deposit and all the paper work was sorted. Check in day was scheduled for day 5. To say that this process was concluded within a week sounds insane, but that was our reality.
Jenna really made our experience seamless. There was great flow between the landlords and ourselves. She also found us lovely landlords, with whom we connect and have similarities.
We look forward to making memories in our new rental home.

I do not know why would anyone use Hamptons for a property purchase. Our offer was accepted, to be told after nearly two weeks later they wanted more money alleging a better offer was put forward. The property in Tanbridge Park was still in the market 10 months later. Go figure! Very unprofessional!

In a time where there are very few properties available and many people looking for rentals, it can be easy to become complacent as a real estate agency. In dealing with Ellie at Hamptons, I received nothing but exceptional service. She would always send available properties to me, and would periodically check up on how my search was going. Ellie is a credit to the real estate industry and by far one of the best, most professional agents I've ever dealt with. despite putting the property on the market at the price they advised and subsequently dropping the price considerably also on their advice very few people viewed the property and none offered. I was not really impressed by the sales description that they produced as it somewhat undersold the plus points that the property has and later asked for this to be changed and exterior photographs to be updated to account for seasonal changes. The revised wording had errors in it which were not altered at my request and photographs were not re-taken. They made a point of asking me to be out when prospective purchasers viewed . In the event I had to show several people around myself as they did not have an agent available to visit when working people could view ie Saturday afternoon/Sunday.

My experience with leasing through Hamptons has been a very frustrating one to say the least. I’ve rent properties through Henry Adams, Courtney Green and Guy & Leonard and I really couldn’t have a more polar experience than I have had with Hamptons. Not sure how much this is down to Hamptons or the landlords but I would expect more support from an estate agency.
We were only informed of a boundary dispute after we signed our lease. We had many issues with the house since we moved in due to the poor condition when we moved in and many issues were left unresolved or simply “band-aided”. We also had a lengthy wait time for repairs that were carried out (no heating for 2 months in Oct/Nov)
At the end of the tenancy I had to wait 4 weeks to receive an account or total for the “damages” despite leaving the property in better condition than we received it. Th le landlord then wanted to claim nearly two thirds of the deposit back.
After several frustrating calls and having received the feedback that the landlord is our client not the tenant I feel obliged to caution potential future tenants against using Hamptons. Lovely people in the branch placate me but a simple lack of results has left me waiting and waiting for my deposit to be returned with still no sight of a resolution. Be careful with this agency unless you are prepared to wait a long time to get your deposit back or are willing to fight for it and can put up with paying your rent while any issues largely remain unresolved.

We have had great service from Jodie and the team. Not only have they found us great tenants but they have been a pleasure to work with along the way too. David deserves a special mention for staying positive, cheerful and diligent when we had a few hiccups in the process. We have just completed on a house in Horsham and have to say that finally after twenty years of renting, buying and selling flats and houses, I have finally found an estate agent that really looks after its clients. Everyone we dealt with at the Hamptons Horsham office were always professional, courteous and responded to queries without delay.
Hamptons really look after you and are a pleasure to deal with. ( They also put up with us changing surveyor appointments and various other visits pre completion at the last minute).

The sale of my property was handled exceptionally well by the Horsham office. The staff were very professional and incredibly helpful at all times. Viewings were conducted in a timely manner and followed up on with constructive feedback given. I would certainly recommend this branch.
I am also renting a property through the same branch and am very happy with the service I have been provided. The rental process was new to me but I was guided through it with no issues, being reliably informed at all stages.
Overall, a very efficiently run office with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
