From the moment we enquired about renting our house out, Rob, Freddie, Natasha, Mandy, Bradley and the team have been excellent, very helpful and above all - proactive and reassuring….
They advised us fully along the whole process. From the ‘short window’ of the house being ready and a tenancy needing to be agreed/signed, they prioritised us and expedited everything. From advising on house renovations, compliance certificates, utilities and furniture - they were great.
Their contract, inventory and payment process was worry free and straightforward.

Cameron was great on the initial visit talking through the value and understanding the work we had done. Rachel was fantastic all the way through the sale process especially when our buyers solicitors had dropped the ball and created a very awkward position for everyone involved.

I don't use the word Exceptional lightly, but that perfectly describes the incredible service we received from Courtney Green in handling the sale of our late father's property - Cameron and Ruth in particular. They stood out from the outset in the way they assessed and marketed the property and Cameron's friendly, easy-going yet professional manner made us feel we were in very safe hands. From the point of accepting an offer, we were kept informed at all times and it was never any trouble to call them to discuss anything that came to mind. They also liaised closely with our solicitor, the net result being we completed the sale successfully and at no point did we ever feel stressed or worried, which is not something people usually say about the process of selling a property. Courtney Green must be one of the best estate agents in Horsham to sell your house with.
From the first time my wife and I walked into their offices in the Carfax we felt this was the company to sell our house for us, all of the team are very friendly and knowledgeable.
We didn’t feel pressured into having to go with them but after a second meeting with Andy Bowling we felt this was the company for us. After negotiating a fair commission rate our house was being marketed by them. The sales team we had working for us included Rachel, Dan, Cameron and Ruth all of who worked really well together and for us. The marketing of our house was first class with great photos, very thorough details plus useful information of the local area.
Our house was on the market during this very recent difficult period when houses were not selling so all the team made a great effort in getting our house sold, which they did.
If you want a really reliable estate agent look at Courtney Green, I am sure you will not be disappointed, we weren’t.

The best estate agents! Rachel Shadbolt was great throughout the whole process. Estate agents are employed by the seller, but when buying a property they were marketing, I felt like they were working for me. Rachel helped convince the seller to accept my offer and then kept them on board when my solicitors were failing badly and the seller was contemplating pulling out. The service was very personal including getting a bottle of champagne with the keys which was unexpected but much appreciated!

Andrew and his colleagues at Courtney Green have recently facilitated for us a purchase of the property in Horsham. From the initial stages, they impressed us by their professional and client oriented approach. They have accommodated our additional visits to the property when we wanted to bring builders and surveyor to help us with the next stages planning. The whole process coincided with the most turbulent times in the financial market recent history, where everyone involved in the property transaction had to be making difficult decisions. Despite all challenges, CG always went an extra mile and made sure that valid points are being taken into account by their clients.

These guys allowed our landlord to rip us off. I know that they don’t get a cut of deposits, but repeat landlord business is lucrative. They sided with the landlord, and even laughed about our dispute. We moved in during February and moved out in May. They felt that the garden didn’t look the same as it did when we moved in. Really? Seasonal growth cycles were lost on them.
Jonathan Evans was the guy that we dealt with, and he had no interest in resolving the dispute. Instead, we had to go to tribunal to stop the landlord taking almost a grand of our money. At that time, I was also a landlord of a London property, and my agent would never allow that kind of unfairness.
Jonathan is all about the landlords, and not about the tenant. The next short term rental had a proper professional as the agent. Looked after both the tenant and the landlord and was a pleasure to deal with.
Avoid these clowns.

Are water bill was very high (£50 a month) in a small one bed flat. After doing everything the water company asked me to do to keep it down I asked courtney green to come and look for a leak. After 3 emails no one got back to me so gave up.
We had bad mould in the bathroom even though we kept it well ventilated again asked courtney green to look at it again 5 emails later no one responded.
When we handed in our notice and people came to view the flat we was told it was very clean and tidy.
On the last day at 8 months pregnant I was scrubbing walls, skirting boards and floors so it was spotless. Also cleaned the mould of the ceiling in the bathroom - which you shouldn’t do normally let alone 8 months pregnant. They then preceded to complain about the mould , couldn’t find any emails that we had emailed them about it - handy ey! And moaned about a speck of ketchup on the fridge it was literally a speck! Wanting to only give us 60% back of our deposit I had to pass on many emails as proof about the mould and other bits. We then only had to pay for the clean before the new people moved in - due to the mess we left (a speck of ketchup and faded mould that they never dealt with) which again is very handy for them as its compulsory for landlords and or estate agents to clean flats before people move in so again that was good for them that we had to pay for that. So definitely wouldn NOT recommend

I engaged Courtney Green to value and sell my large Victorian house in west Sussex. This proved to be a very wise choice indeed as the level of service and professional approach was very refreshing as well as effective. My house was an unusual one to sell as the asking price for this type of property on face value was expensive as it was nothing that exceptional on paper until viewed which then gave credibility to the price attached. The presentations and sales methodology that Courtney Green created really captured the spirit of the house which was a challenge and this in turn provided real potential buyers and not just curious passers-by.
In summary the whole sale process that Courtney Green ran was like a military operation the whole process was of the highest standard with a very high level of communication, professionalism and obvious experience in dealing with clients that fitted my property level.
I can only recommend Courtney Green to the highest level to anyone who like us was bombarded by agents who promised unrealistic results with no substance. We got the price for the house that they valued the house at too serious buyers who were in a position to buy.
These guys do what is says on the can and do it very, very well indeed.

I hated the prospect of renting again after so many years as a homeowner and was dreading having to deal with letting agents, but Courtney Green were nice people to do business with.
I rented a flat in Horsham between February and October 2018 without any significant issues. Anything that cropped up was sorted out pretty easily and quickly. The staff are nice people and I always found them efficient. I had no hassles with the return of the deposit, although it probably helped that I'd used the cleaning firm they use themselves.
Although I hope not to need to rent ever again, as I'm now paying a mortgage, I'd use Courtney Green if needed.

I have just left my apartment after having rented via Courtney Green for approximately 2.5 years.
I have had bad experiences with estate agents previously and therefore was quite cautious and detailed when doing the inventory and check in process (probably too much so!), but when it came time to check out I thought the process with Courtney Green was very efficient and very fair. I received all of my deposit back minus only some professional cleaning costs which I had agreed to in my contract. Unlike some estate agents, they clearly care about both their landlords and tenants - even tenants that are leaving.
I would also add that when things went wrong at the apartment, for example the boiler or fridge/freezer breaking down, they were very quick to react to this, the communication was very good, and the contractors they used to put things right were top class - so much so that I am now using the same central heating company to install a boiler at the new home I am moving in to. They even responded to and handled issues on a bank holiday.
As a side note, my Mum also purchased a property in Warnham sold through Courtney Green, and they again did an excellent job with this, basically managing the seller's solicitor throughout the entire process.
A very professional and committed organisation, with honesty and integrity. I would definitely use them again, either as a tenant or landlord, or if selling a property.

I have known Steven Greenfield since 1993 when I bought my first house in Sussex. It was a complex situation due to difficult circumstances for the vendors. It was so extreme, my wife and I decided to withdraw. However Steven went the extra mile and helped us reconcile that the difficulties were only temporary and nothing to do with us.

We had our oven blow up on Saturday night and we reported it the same night, Karen got in touch with us on Monday morning very quickly and told me that it will be dealt with as quick as they can, its now Thursday and we are getting the new oven fitted this afternoon. Very quick and very helpful, Karen has been a delight to speak to and extremely helpful. Very happy with the quick service.

Couldn't ask for more support during difficult times as a family, as we found ourselves to be after a breavement "reluctant landlords" with a house to manage and little clue how to go about it...The lettings team just a phone call away with solid advice and solutions as we climbed a steep learning curve. Moving on, the dissolution of the estate as the final act aided perfectly by the sales team who managed our sale diligently, again realistic and informative support at all stages...can't recommend both teams more highly and will definitely use them again.

What a great team you have. I used the sales department to buy two rental properties which went through very smoothly, and I was kept informed at every step of the process. It was the obvious choice to rent them out via the lettings department, and I have to say I found everyone very professional and in particular the lettings team who where very knowledgeable in all aspects of the rental process. Be careful with these estate agents! I would like to share the bad experience I have just had with Courtney green.
After the check out inventory, the landlord asked up £900 to cover various costs. Most of the costs were around general wear and tear like marks on the walls, a few scuffs in the carpet. The check in report was very vague but when it came to the check out they were thorough. Unfortunately, we didn't take note of every single detail and they took advantage of this. It eventually went to a dispute and we managed to keep a good part of our deposit.
Courtney green were never open about who they represent. Told us they represented both landlord and tenant. However in a dispute they were completely representing the landlord, even did the landlords case. They also advised us the landlord was being reasonable. If we had heard them we would have lost a huge chunk of our bond. Used our case to lodge the dispute and countered our arguments in the dispute application.
If you use Croxley Green make sure you are properly advised about your rights, independently from them and take note of every mark on floors, walls, garden condition. Our house was professionally cleaned every week, no shoes policy in the house, but they still managed to take money from our bond. They seemed very experience around disputes and know what to say to make landlord more favoured.
We don't want anything to do with them, ever again.
