Havilands handled the sale of my property effectively: they actively marketed it and were especially good once an offer had been accepted: they kept the pressure on solicitors and the buyer and helped to resolve issues to smooth completion.

I work with estate agencies for a living and can honestly say that Havilands are easily one of the best I've ever come across. The team is incredibly professional and they have gone out of their way to make sure they are as communicative as possible, keeping us updated at every step. If I was selling again in the area I wouldn't think twice about instructing them again.

I bought a house through Havilands. Messages were not passed on from the person I was buying from. I wasn't kept up to date with the progress. They don't do enough to justify the commission.

As buyers from overseas, we embarked on this journey with limited knowledge of the intricacies involved in purchasing property in the UK. The guidance and professionalism demonstrated by the Havilands team have been invaluable in navigating through what initially seemed like a daunting process.
We truly appreciate the efforts your team has made to ensure that all aspects of the transaction are conducted in accordance with the law and with transparency. Your reliability and dedication to your clients' needs are commendable, and we have felt reassured every step of the way.
However, I would like to offer some constructive feedback for consideration. While we acknowledge that the process is subject to various external factors, we believe that there may be opportunities for improvement in expediting certain aspects of the transaction. Specifically, we feel that more proactive engagement with solicitors to accelerate searches could significantly reduce the timeline for completion. By doing so, we believe that the completion of the deal could be achieved by the end of December 2023, rather than April 2024, as currently projected.

If I could give 0 stars I would. James at Havilands is an unethical person and estate agent. We were stuck in a chain where our seller's were buying a house which was under Havilands. When we put an offer for our house, we were told that we're in a contract race as the house our seller's want to buy (through Havilands) has another offer. Therefore it will really be down to who can get to exchange first. We worked extremely hard to get from offer to exchange in 3 weeks thinking we're there to only find out the estate agents were just playing with our lives to secure their commission. There was never a contract race, the sellers for the house through Havilands weren't even aware of our offer and were always going to go with the other party. We had given our landlord notice to leave that month because we were rushed by our sellers and estate agent so were basically going to become homeless. Due to our efforts, we got this over the line with no help from either Havilands or our estate agent. Never has an estate agent deserved their fees less. Do not recommend going with this estate agent at all!

Haviland Real Estate Angents i am so glad i found my flat renting through them the guys working in that State Agents are very helpful and professional we been dealing with James and Lady very nice helpfully but most of the times we been contacted with Richard it's one of the top Estate Agents guy in London very Professional and correct and helpful, highly recommended Estate Agents.

Richard Smith at Havilands is the sort of agent you think doesn’t exist. Kind, calm, never pushy, and somehow on everyone’s side – genuinely. He listens, he does his homework, he knows what he’s talking about, and if he doesn’t have the answers he gets them for you pronto. He’s professional, clear and honest, with a generous spirit. Richard found our dream home for us, a really special property, and helped us secure it with zero stress – a bit of a magic trick.
If you’re looking to buy a house in the areas served by Havilands, I’d strongly recommend trying to secure Richard’s support personally. His no-nonsense but patient approach to dealmaking is really refreshing. Buying a house comes down to a matter of hours – Richard chose to take time out of his weekend to help us and our vendor align on a sale that was careful, swift, exciting and also fair.
I hope Havilands are aware of what a top player they have in the team. We’ll never forget the help we got from Richard, and the lovely style in which he delivered it. A true pro.

Richard at Havilands has been superb in dealing with us so far. We met originally when viewing a property in which he was and has been since, very punctual, friendly and diligent in his work.
We decided to put our flat on the market with him and we can’t complain at all. He has worked tirelessly to get us the best offers and drum up as much interest on the flat as possible. With regular updates on how things have been progressing we’ve felt in the loop the whole way through the process.
Fast forward two weeks and we have received our first offer, much quicker than we expected!
