Excellent service from Josh Helliwell on the fairly recent sale of our house; always quick to respond to queries and all other matters. The vendor IT portal is a big plus and very easy to use.

DO NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU FOR YOUR DEPOSIT!!!!!
I regret having to do this as my dealings with Anna were nothing but pleasant however dealing with Joshua (their director) came with nothing but a sense of arrogance.
I had lost out on a property that I'd left a deposit on as soon as requested.
I eventually had a conversation with the Landlord once I found out that he had taken a deposit on the property through another letting agent - to which his response was "Had I spoke to you a week ago, you'd be in the property"
Turns out that there was no chasing from Helliwell's side to the Landlord or reference agency and the Landlord lost faith and decided to go with another agent.
This is not where my misery ends as Joshua decides to give me a call saying my deposit is non-refundable - apparently my earnings which show commissions in payslips are less than what my actual payslip says!!!
Sounds like their business only runs of holding deposits as they can't successfully complete on properties.
Solicitors now involved to get my deposit back (Only a petty 1k however it's a matter of principle.

We used Helliwells to sell our property, and were extremely impressed with the service received. Joshua Helliwell handled the sale and was enthusiastic, committed and professional at all times. Helliwells commissioned a high quality virtual tour of our property, which in these Covid times, protected all parties and meant that only serious purchasers would come to view. Ours was a joint agency instruction but Helliwells were far more pro-active than the other agent, evidenced by the extensive number of serious buyers they introduced, (compared to only a couple from the others). They are proudly local and independent and know their market inside out, we would highly recommend.

Jamie's charismatic approach and attentiveness makes the search for property even easier - we requested one viewing and then Jamie pre-empted us for a few other properties which were even better. Avoid this company!!! They took me to the wrong property. After enquiring to the manager about why this happened he said that the property had already been taken over a week ago, but booked me in to see a completely different flat that was nothing like the other one. Complete waste of time.
Update: Well Joshua it's a good thing I have kept the emails proving I have used your services (see photo), perhaps if you spent more time working out how to run a good company instead of trying to hide the disgusting and fraudulent way you do business and treat your customers, you might not have to lie about being a good company.

A small independent estate agent with professional, efficient and caring attitude. We would definitely use Helliwell again and can only recommend them to others. After a very average experience with a local agent, we decided to give Helliwell a try even though they seemed to be more focused on properties in central Ealing whereas our properties are in the western part of Ealing. Thank goodness we did. In a very flat market indeed Helliwell sold two flats for us through a combination of creative thinking, determination and good old fashioned (and honest) salesmanship. I cannot recommend Marco and Josh Helliwell too highly and also the wonderful Anna who manages the office and kept us fully on top of viewings and other communication.
