TENANTS - Be careful. Similar to the review below, we got what we deemed fake professional cleaning charges. We also moved into a dirty and disgusting property, and had evidence in photos and emails, but this still wasn't enough to win the appeal against this company, and we have now lost £440 of our deposit. This is really horrific treatment of tenants who are suffering with a housing and living crisis. We now rent with a respected company (Clan Gordon) and I hope leaving this review (and the one before me) helps raise awareness of the risks in renting with Home Lettings, as you may lose a huge chunk of your deposit money. We found them to be acting in an unethical manner.... Read more

They are one of worst agency in city Edinburgh. Avoid dealing with them. They tried to block our deposit and put a false claim of 475+ GBP using fake bills w/o date. We challenged the decision and attached is the document of decision in our favour. If you still wish to rent with them, do take all the photos of property during check-in and every communication needs to be on email. Guys are bunch of losers and cons. Wish you luck.... Read more

Had a viewing for a shared flat to let in the city centre, first time I have used a letting agency. The gentleman that held our viewing was extremely eccomidating and very informative about the flat, sourounding areas and what I would receive for the priced asked. I decided to use Home Lettings Scotland for my property management needs after my previous management company couldn’t give me any solutions as to why my properties were vacant after weeks of marketing. After placing my properties under their care, they provided me with a report detailing what needs to be done to the property to ensure that it will appeal to prospective tenants and quickly found good paying tenants. My issues were handled professionally and quickly with a minimum of costs and time on my side. I am so impressed with the way Home Lettings Scotland removes the stress out of property management.
