Have been a landlord with Homes & co for past 13 years and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this agency. Sean has been professional, responsive and honest at all times. From selecting tenants to arranging works at the property he has looked after everything while keeping me fully informed. Agents generally get a bad rap, but I can only speak as I find and this company is top drawer.... Read more

My partner and I rented a flat from Homes & Co for over 8 1/2 years. Sean & Lisa provided professional, friendly and efficient service throughout all this time. Queries and issues were always addressed quickly, and any broken appliances timely replaced. The property was inspected regularly and safety checks were carried out. Sean & Lisa have been a pleasure to deal with and we're grateful to them for making our stay in the flat so smooth & enjoyable! Highly recommended!... Read more

Rented via this agency for our young family aged 1 & 4 - the agent is Sean Cracknell and in our opinion is very unprofessional and in the end terminated our lease as we were told the landlords son was moving into the property which now turned out to be a total lie as there is an eastern European family living there now whom we know as our kids are in the same school ! While we lived at the property continually appliances broke and we were left with no heat or a boiler for 2 months during the winter period ! They also lied about a woman named Lisa whom comes to do inventory check in etc and explained she was totally independent and not part of the agency but she is infact the partner of Mr. Cracknell and her white BMW X5 can seen parked outside daily. Overall a shocking unprofessional experience with which our family suffered and lived in poor conditions. We only moved into this run down dated property to save money to purchase our new home... stay clear is my strong advice!... Read more

We were tenants of a property managed by Homes & Co. The good: - quick to assist with any issues/problems with the flat The bad: - after our initial fixed term period, we renewed every 6 months and each 6 months we had to pay around £200 'renewal fee'. For this £200 pounds they would issue us a new contract (exactly the same with the change in dates), take a photocopy of our passport (that they already had), and take a photocopy of a proof of address (even though we are already living in the flat in question). All of this in the name of 'background checks' - ridiculous, unnecessary and clearly a money grabbing scam. Prospective tenants should note that such renewal fees are optional and aren't always passed on to the tenants. Many of the better estate agents don't pass these on to tenants, so please be aware of this as you will agreeing to these renewal fees upfront at the start of your tenancy. Arguably the worst £200 I've ever spent in terms of what I get in return. The ugly: If you speak to them on the phone or in person they're about as friendly as a hungry piranha... Read more

Very friendly and always there to help if needed. Hope to still be with this agent for many years :) 2017: I've been with Homes & Co for two years now. From the start of our tenancy we have found Homes & Co to be highly efficient, organised and basically providing excellent value for money in renting a flat. They ensured the flat was thoroughly cleaned and decorated before we moved in. Gas, boiler and appliance checks are made regularly. Whenever anything has needed mending or looking at, Michelle has been wonderful and swift in replying to emails and organising a visit from a plumber for example, or providing good advice when needed. We have rented our flat with Homes & Co for over three years now, and it has been the best experience, by far, that we have had with letting agents (and we have rented several places in the past, and with varying experiences, unfortunately including some fairly bad ones!). Professional service, prompt responses and a pleasure to deal with! I rented off Homes and Co for almost 5 years. Whenever I had a query, Michelle responded promptly, almost within the hour and resolved all my queries. Sean & Lisa were equally prompt and efficient and went beyond the call of duty to help out.
