I have simply asked for a valuation of my property and ive been ignored everytime even after speaking face to face with them please avoid this estate agent and choose someone that cares

Absolutely rubbish. Nobody answers the phone the whole day. I have been trying to speak to someone and it just keeps going to answerphone. It was the same last week as well.

Both Matthew and Brenda were very attentive, professional, and supportive.
All information regarding the property was provided in time, many useful tips and advices, friendly communication.

Avoid this estate agents!!!! They accepted my holding deposit for a property, I completed the application and passed all the referencing, on the day the contract was due to be signed I got a call from the agents telling me the landlord had pulled out!!! I was given no explanation and me and my children have been left homeless just before Christmas. I was offered no alternative no help at all and all of my emails have been ignored. Do not use this estate agents!!!!!! They have no care for their customers at all!!! The whole experience has been traumatic.

Phoned 5 times to arrange a viewing and 2 weeks later, I still haven't been able to view it and haven't had a single call or email from them. I definitely would not list my property for sale or let with this branch.

Johanna was open and transparent throughout our house buy in Chislehurst. She worked hard to ensure all parties were satisfied and ensured the purchase went through at a tough time when COVID-19 had hit. Matthew and Johanna made it stress-free viewing houses with them over our 14 month search. Often agents can play games - there were none here at all.

We sold our house through Humphriss & Ryde during a very difficult time for the property market. Matthew helped and supported us every step of the way. He is a professional and a gentleman like there are not many left and together with his team deserves all our gratitude and appreciation. We bought our house eight years ago and already back then we had been pleased with their services. When the time came for selling it again we had no doubt as to which estate agent to choose.

David Tracy was great when we found our flat at the start, and the flat itself was perfect. However when we left we were told to pay £300 cleaning costs (although the flat was already in great condition). Upon sense checking the conditions report when we moved in, the “wear and tear” was highlighted on that report but unfortunately not considered.
£300 cleaning fees for a 2 bedroom flat is quite excessive, and coinsidentely this was the “preferred supplier” for Humpriss and Ryde and it we didn’t use them we would incur a £172 fee plus the cleaning costs we would have to pay if we went elsewhere.
Overall, disappointed as we essentially paid an extra surcharge for cleaning the flat to a pristine condition for the tenants before!

We chose Humphriss & Ryde to market our house after a poor experience with a ‘large chain’ estate agent in Chislehurst. We wish we’d picked Humphriss & Ryde from the start. It is family run business and we were really impressed with the service we received. They found us buyer within 6 weeks which was very good in a slow market and seemed to be able to filter out the time wasters where our previous agent seemed to want to show anyone around the house. We had to rent a property until we were ready to move abroad and the rental side of their business is also excellent. A very efficient team. Thank you. We would recommend them to anyone looking to sell.

Lacklustre marketing, our listing kept disappearing off their website and Rightmove; serious lack of communication from our designated agent, we had to constantly chase him.
Incredibly disappointed with the level of service we received from this company. When we terminated the contract no effort was made at all to try to keep us.
Really would not recommend this company.

Our move was more complicated than most, since it involved the sale of one home and the purchase of three others. So one chain plus three 'link chains'.H&R worked tirelessly with other estate agents and solicitors, and in the end we managed to exchange on three of the properties with consistent completion dates. Steve was proactive, professional and efficient throughout the whole process of our moving home.
I was extremely impressed by how he used his initiative to make and maintain regular contact with solicitors/agents/landlords at all points of the chain to ensure that any unforeseen problems were quickly dealt with.
It was reassuring to have his mostly daily feedback on progress which took the pressure off us and instilled confidence.
Matthew gave invaluable initial advice and it was clear the teamwork between Alan and Steve helped things run smoothly if either was away from the office.
Steve's skills and actions enabled us to complete on both our sale and purchase within 15 weeks - and this was with Christmas in between!
If you are thinking of moving home I would definitely highly recommend Steve.

Alan found our buyer and helped us through a very difficult conveyance process. There was a chain and one of the solicitor's involved was painfully slow in getting things done and needed to be pushed all the way to the exchange of contracts. The sale would not have happened without Alan's perseverance and communication skills. The service offered throughout by Alan & his colleagues Steve & Matthew was outstanding. We would like to say what a great service provided by Humphriss & Ryde during the purchase of our property. Steve in the Chislehurst office was exceptionally great at communicating with us and keeping us informed of the ongoing purchase and any issues that were arising including timeframes for getting things moving and sorted. It's often said that the estate agents work on behalf of the seller and not the buyer, however though this may have been the case, we did not feel at a disadvantage during the process at all, thanks to Steve's willingness to communicate and be invested in seeing the purchase and sale go through.
We are really happy with our new home and have Humprhiss and Ryde to thank for this, professional from the beginning to the end.
