Viewed an apartment with James and co. Ok from the start....took them 2weeks to book me to see a flat. Flat was in very bad shape, was promised it would be fixed before move in. The next thing I got was a bank account to transfer a holding deposit without telling me move in date. What ever I asked, I got a reply " trying to get hold of the landlord" or no reply at all.. My question is how .can you be wasting people's time taking them viewing a house that you have no details from the landlord about. Am sorry but they sound very shady and dubious. They deserve no star at all but it's unfair not to give them at lest one; for the fact that they are actually human.... Read more

Found a property with this company to rent short term. Agent was friendly and efficient at first and the tenancy process ran smoothly With no problems. Was promised a new Washing machine when I moved in as the old one was unuseable, this didn’t happen and took A lot of nagging to get a new one. Also been problems with security causing me to move out. No sympathy at all from the agents, manner very unprofessional and rude! Sadly they care more about the landlord than the tenant. Very nice at first but once they get their money the attitude changes. I would not use them again!... Read more

With James and Company I finally rented beautiful 3 bed house. Property was looking exactly like on the pictures from the website - nice, cosy, just painted. Agency fees was just £150 per tenant. All paperwork they did really quick. No any hidden additional costs. Contract short and clear, easy to understand. The highest standard of service.... Read more

*****please don't Ignore this and try to avoid this company if you can******* *****HORRIBLE COMPANY AND TIME WASTER***** I have contacted this company with John and Mathew regarding a studio flat explained them that I never taken any studio before. Gentleman called Mathews explained don't worry we will look after everything even credit score is not good enough we modify them that we could get you in the property. So I paid 300 pounds holding fees/partly deposit and fill the application form. we have received a call that me and my wife passed the credit score to have the room but we cannot have the property as I have 1700 pounds of debt and none of us has British passport. I have requested a copy of that credit report to know how. since then I am trying to call them but no further response from them. I tried to chase them but like as usual no response. so I HAVE LOST £300. So I had to find another property as a matter of urgency. So please don't waste your time relaying on this company....
