I had a very unpleasant experience at Christopher Nevill. Whilst on a phone call to an agent, boys in the office in the background were swearing and making inappropriate jokes about other nations.One individual was loudly calling someone completely disgusting names I was able to hear them on the end of the line.
This kind of behaviour is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable . I felt uncomfortable. I will definitely not be coming back or using there service for further viewings .

I am having bad experience with this agency. I rented a property with Christopher Nevill 3 months ago. There is some maintenance work reported to landlord and the agency but it is not fixed yet. Now, agent has stopped responding to my messages. This is unprofessional behaviour from Olivia(one of the agents). I would not recommend anyone to this agency.

I had a very disappointing experience with this agency. I was booked to view two properties and travelled over three hours for these appointments. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to view either property.
For the first one, I was told on arrival that the agent no longer had access. For the second, the tenant refused to open the door because they hadn’t been informed of the scheduled viewing.
As a result, I wasted nearly six hours of my day commuting for nothing. This level of disorganization and lack of communication is completely unprofessional. I would not consider contacting this agency again for any property viewings.

I AM APPALLED!!
We are landlords of a 4 bedroom property in the local area.
It has come to our attention Christopher Nevill have raised the price of our property by 50 pounds without our approval which came as a huge shock.
Completely unacceptable and shows that they did not care to even ask for approval from us.
This shows that this company thinks they can raise rent whenever they want and not even seek approval.
To reiterate, I am shocked, appalled and hugely disappointed with Christopher Nevill.

We have sadly had the absolute displeasure of dealing with these guys. I'll try to make this as brief as possible.
We required a 6 month short term letting in a "worn-in" average 2 bed house rental. The only caveat on our moving in being, that the landlady was selling the premises (hence the short let) so there would be viewings on the odd occasion. This turned out to be at least 3 times a week, if not more. However, we obliged and even accommodated unscheduled appointments. So limited privacy was the sacrifice for us being able to live there, but again, we obliged. Nonetheless, when we moved out, we spend almost £200 on an end-of-tenancy clean (at their request) and, in our minds, gave back the property in better condition than when we moved in. However, and this is a friendly word of warning to anyone unfortunate enough to liaise with this company, TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING FROM DAY ONE!!!!
This is a mistake we paid dearly for, as when we left, they billed us for a laundry list of supposed damage we caused. If it really was down to our negligence, we would have gladly paid up, but their "evidence" was all check out pictures and hardly any check-in with most of it being pre-existing prior damage. All photographed with no comparison model to speak of. A dirty mattress that we stored away safely the day we arrived, they billed us. A burned patch of grass in the garden due to a few days of high temps, they billed us. An old kettle and coffee machine that we weren't even aware was there (we brought all our own air fryer and cooking utensils), charged. A scant few cobwebs in their bolt-on outside conservatory, they billed us. The general tatty nature of the building like the skirting, door frames, that were nothing to do with us (we only moved in a few cardboard boxes), all billed. Even some dog feces that was left on our driveway by one of the many owners walking up and down the street daily, we were held liable. And the bill was in the hundreds. Just a side note that we managed to speak to the previous tenants who it appears, also went through the same hell as we did.
What they do is then bombard the TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) with all these pictures (all "after" photos, no "before's", remember) and hope that they can walk away with something. Obviously, the adjudicator cannot go over everything with a fine toothcomb and thus, come to what they see as an amicable split. Money in the pocket for them and they can repeat this all as many times as they wish. Hence we got stuck with a bill for over £400 based on "assumed" damage. Absolutely disgusting. Especially dealing with the manager there, Ketna (the apparent "brains" behind this operation), who kept insisting she wanted the place "sparkling and shiny" when we leave as well as going radio silent when we tried to open up communications dialogue afterwards. Please believe me when I tell you the state it was in when we arrived, was as far away from that laughable statement as you can get. After all, it is being used by multiple occupants on a regular basis. Plus the fact, as I mentioned, that viewings took place almost every 2 or 3 days. Was the place in that bad of a state, surely they wouldn't be able to show potential clients something like this, right? Bare in mind, Christopher Nevill agents were always in and out of the building, yet nothing was flagged. Because there WAS nothing TO be flagged.
Apologies for the long post (was supposed to be brief), but the stress and headache we've endured as the hands of these unprofessional's, needs calling out. We shoot from the hip and literally are telling it exactly as it played out. Again, they seem to be known for doing this to unsuspecting tenants. So if you really must go with them even after hearing all this, PLEASE PLEASE take all the pictures you can and store them safely so at least they won't get away with these shoddy, underhanded business practices as they have with us and others too.

Christopher Neville's estate agent have sold three properties of mine in the past.
The last one being a grade 2 listed. I thought, it might be difficult to sell but with Elmer and Darrens sales experiences there was no need, for me to worry.

I had the misfortune of renting a property through Christopher Nevil, with Jazz as their employee. I must say, if now that I suffer from anxiety and depression it’s because of them. I forced to share my house with a man I never agreed to for 5 months. I never signed the contract yet the sent the guy in without my permission. To add to the horror they would only coordinate with him and will use management keys and come inside without my knowledge. The property was bad and what’s worse is that although you rent the whole property they will decide which room you take. I lost my deposit because they didn’t charge the people who left mid way through tenancy. I can’t even describe the horror I went through. Please never rent through them!

Would not recommend this. My flatmates and I had the worst experience as (international students) tenants. They wouldn't return our calls and emails even in some emergency cases and rarely solved the tenants' issues. Maintenance was weak as well. It was last year but I'm still having nightmares about it, it cased us so much stress and anxiety. I hope I never have to use their service again.

Nikunj Upadhye, Weekend Sales Assistant who my Husband and I met this weekend was a delight. Nikunj greeted us friendly, cheerfully and was knowledgeable and forthcoming with relevant information when asked about certain aspects of the properties we viewed, so much so that we placed offers on both properties that we viewed same day, but unfortunately for us were not successful.

Worst agency in my experience, avoid them at all costs. Gubs Banger tried to raise the rent before we moved in even though the agreement was already signed. He didn't even bother to check that we and the landlord signed it. When it became clear to him that there was already a biding agreement , he did not apologize. My contract was for a fixed period of 1 year, which changed to a rolling contract. When the 1 year was up, they tried to force me to sign another year. David Tuffin harassed me every day by email until I wrote that I would take legal action. When I moved out and asked when I would get the deposit back, they didn't answer until they saw that I was also writing to the landlord. They didn't organize the time for handing over the apartment either, only at the last moment when I gave them an ultimatum. Absolutely unorganized amateurs, I recommend you to avoid them.

I count myself as being very fortunate to have come across Christopher Nevill— and, especially Darren— during the house purchasing process.
Being a FTB is daunting and many estate agents do not help in making the process easier— lack of communication, use of pressure tactics and sometimes blatant lies. Christopher Nevill was a welcome change.
Appointments were easy to make and the staff were friendly on the phone. My viewings were with Nikunj— who was professional, quickly responding to all of my queries and flexible enough to get me a second viewing on a property I liked on the same day! No forced sales pitches here.
From the offer stage and onwards I was dealing with Darren, who played a major part in orchestrating the entire purchase to completion. He was always easy to reach, prompt to reply and provided constant updates. With his experience and knowledge, he helped us complete our purchase in good time!
Having someone like Darren is a major relief in what is typically a cumbersome and complicated process. Most importantly, I never at one point felt that Darren was working against me. He is a gem and a credit to his industry.
I would highly recommend Christopher Nevill if they serve your area.

I rent a flat with them in Mercantile house . They are aware of all the issues with the flats and the management there , but they don’t care . The flat they rent had issues with the windows , I could not open it . And they never fix it . They will direct you to HML that is the worst management ever . I had to leave the flat earlier , I couldn’t live there without ventilation . I used my break clause but they are trying to keep part of my deposit with excuses … I had to fight for it . Stay away from this agency . Really unprofessional .

It has never been fixed . I used the break clause to leave earlier . The agency was aware about the issue but they put the flat back to the market . Mercantile house is a building with a lot of issues , everything is broken and it is not safe at all . Tenants are stealing the parcels and you can smell drugs everywhere . This agency work close to them and they rent their flats . At the end of my tenancy they want to keep part of the deposit and I had to open a dispute . Incredible .

Nobody in this agency listens. They just care about making commission. Once you pay them, they won't care about what situation are you in. Go for different letting agency in Uxbridge even if you pay more. Atleast you will have a sane mind for a year.

I have rented my property out for 20 years. Unfortunately my previous tenant decided not to pay their rent. David supported me over and above his remit, attending Court, liaising with solicitors and my insurance company to enable me to gain procession. He then went above and beyond again arranging for removal of furniture that had been dumped outside the property and cleaned ready for marketing. David and his team then went the extra mile and have found me a brilliant tenant.
I cannot thank David and his team enough. They were there to support me at such a difficult time both emotionally and mentally.

I met Courtney today and she was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly with my son as well. I desperately needed a property to rent. She empathised with me and listened to me carefully. She told me that she will contact the landlord, explain my situation and arrange the viewing for me the same day and she did.She was efficient. At the start of our search for a new home staff at Christopher Nevill have been very helpful to us. At the beginning of our search we visited and put an offer in on a property that we liked. Unfortunately due to us failing to sell our property on time this did not work out. However, Darren was supportive and honest throughout this process and remained positive about our search moving forward. We then visited another property in August 2022 and immediately put an offer in the same day. Darren was very punctual about putting this offer across to the seller and thankfully it was accepted. The process from this point dragged a little but this was not down to the team at Christopher Nevill as there was some issues in getting the chain completed. Elmer gave us regular updates on the progress of things and was always quick to respond to queries and get back to us. Elmer was able to communicate with the other estate agents and solicitors involved and we had confidence that he would be able to get things done. Having now exchanged and got a completion date Elmer is still communicating and supporting us with our last steps.

My experience with Christopher Nevill is being rated at its max particularly because of Gubs Banger. I was so much desperate to find a property to rent and had very limited time to movein. Gubs made sure he had provided me with the perfect listing fulfilling my requirements. Called on Monday morning spoke to David said he’ll call back to let me know a few rooms that we’re available. A call back never happened.
I then called the Uxbridge branch on Monday afternoon spoke to a woman to pass on the message to David for a call back.
No calls were made.
Called the branch yesterday only to be told all the rooms have now gone.
Now I’m having to look around for another home.
Ridiculous service if David or someone else had call I’d might have a home by now.
Terrible service will say they will call you .. and then they forget and give the property to someone else !!

After having the house valued by four separate estate agents, I favoured Christopher Neville to be the ones to sell the house on my behalf.
Darren was understanding and professional from the start of the process.
There was considerable interest in the property, due to the quality of the marketing. An offer on the house was accepted three weeks from going on the market.
The buyers wanted to occupy the property as quickly as possible and with the assistance of two good solicitors and excellent communication from both Darren and Elmer everything was completed within two months.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Christopher Nevill to anyone thinking of selling thier property. Its a stressful time, but they do everything to alleviate the stress as much as they can.

This is just a good example for how bad the company is. What would really help is if you listened to people, actually read what emails say rather than trying to drive towards your own end goal.

Very poor. We are renting a house currently and when we moved in there already was a leak, this was sorted in a week however,we flipped the matress and it is unusable. The landlord is refusing to get us a new one even though its in the inventory. The toilet button does not work and there are various things that have gone wrong with the place which we have to keep chasing otherwise nothing gets done. This should have been sorted before we moved in and not for us to find out after a week in the property. The cleaning was done to a poor standard as well. The matress is the cherry on top as it is part of the furniture and fittings. Point blank the landlord refuses to replace it as it is "just a ripped cover". Unacceptable

Really impressed by these agents. Initially dealt with Billie in sorting out the flat. She took the time to show me several flats in an afternoon as I had travelled a fair way to visit and after deciding on one, was brilliant at keeping me updated and answering any questions. Since moving in, I have been dealing with Luke from the property management team to iron out some initial maintenance issues. Tradesman have been sent out promptly and his communication has also been awesome. All the staff I have dealt with have been really friendly and I can't praise them enough. Used Christopher Nevill to sell my parents property, i do not live in the area anymore so they arranged the EPC did all the viewings. We had multiple viewings and subsequent offers as it was valued and priced correctly (some others that were priced for more, still have not sold). It probably was the smoothest sale i have known in the 10+ house sales i have had, i know some was luck and having motivated buyer but credit where it is due to Elmer and Darren for keeping me and no doubt the buyer informed all the way along. I would 100% use again !!

We have recently purchased a house through Christopher Neville and what started as a decent relationship with regular communication seemed to recede as we had an offer accepted and then the seller became the main focus for the sales team.
I was disappointed to not receive a call or message on our day of completion. Again disappointed when we committed to spend a lot of money getting the new purchase cleaned and were told this wouldn't be a problem when in-fact the house was still very much full of belongings.
No one met my husband at the property with a key, again another small action that would have helped our moving day.
Also after 4 days of purchase and moving in we still had the old owner coming back to pick up their rubbish.
It was not an enjoyable experience and no, I wouldn't recommend them to a friend.

I was renting an apartment in Uxbridge, the owner of the apartment wanted to sell his apartment, and I knew that I should look for another apartment, so I went to Christopher Nevill to search for an apartment I saw at rightmove. I saw the apartment and liked me and we started the procedures. I paid the holding deposit and all the information about my guest and my income, etc. It went well. She asked me to pay 5 week deposit and 1month rent, I paid and set the date for receiving the apartment 24 October I informed the owner of the apartment of my departure date and booked a van to take my belongings to my new apartment and collected all my belongings and take days off from my work. Everything is ready to go to the new house, but I was surprised a day before my departure. I know that the house is not ready for housing and it is possible to solve The problem was, in a few days, I arrived, I moved my items to the new house, and I went to a hotel, but I was surprised that they were neglected and no one cared about them and he told me that the apartment needs many weeks to repair. They left me in the hotel to pay his expenses out of my pocket knowing that they are the reason behind my condition. I lost my meeting with Christopher Nevill. I had to take My things went to self storage, and when I asked them to help me with the expenses they caused, they refused to help me. They are the worst people I have seen in my life. I will go to the English judiciary. They are chasing them and I ask anyone to deal with this gang with a severe ban. They are the most dangerous people on the Uxbridge community

I am absolutely astounded and disgusted by the treatment I have received from Mr. Sanbir Singh and the Uxbridge firm as a whole since my dealings with them.
I visited a property in Hillingdon on Saturday 19th October and Tuesday 22nd October 2019. I submitted an offer over the phone on Monday 21st October 2019. This offer was accepted as was confirmed by Sanbir Singh over the phone the very same day.Sanbir explained that no more viewings would take place as a result of the offer being accepted by the Vendor.
On Wednesday morning, my husband and I received a confirmation in writing via email, stating our offer had been accepted by the Vendor and that we should provide our I.D documents and our mortgage broker details.
That evening, Sanbir contacted me using a witheld ID number and was extremely rude to me, asking me why I had not submitted my documents 'in time' and that If I did not 'hurry up' then the property would continue to be viewed by other potential buyers and I would lose the offer acceptance. I was very upset when hearing this as I had been assured by him that no other viewings would take place since my offer had been accepted as confirmed in writing also. I found his tone and manner aggressive and his lack of integrity in upholding my offer and subsequent acceptance by the vendor disgraceful. He was rude, forceful and threatening in his tone and talked over me the entire time. His message was clear, if I did not 'hurry up' in submitting all my documents then I risked losing my offer on the property. I found this behaviour seriously alarming, seeing as only just over 24 hours had passed since the acceptance of my offer and yet these demands were being made. I was also rather unsettled by the fact that Sanbir had already received a copy of my bank balance the day I viewed following his unrelenting request. I felt this was rather forward of him, intrusive and rushed, yet I still provided him with what he had requested to show my serious interest in purchasing the property.
I explained to Sanbir in a tone calmer than his own on Wednesday evening, that I had a young baby at home and I needed some time to gather my documents and email them over. My baby was actually unwell during that period which I explained to him. Following which, that very evening of Wednesday 23rd October 2019, I emailed Elmer George my and my husband's I.D documents and utility bill. This was received by him and on Thursday 24th October, I provided Elmer with my broker details. Following which he contacted the broker and sent official documents relating to the sale.
On Monday 28th October 2019, around 4.45pm, Sanbir spoke to my husband over the phone and informed him that our offer which had previously been accepted, only days ago, was no longer valid and that we had to now offer a higher price as there was a counter- offer made by another potential buyer. This meant that following the acceptance of our offer, the property was still being advertised by Christopher Nevill and viewings were taking place. Sanbir was questioned by my husband as to why our initial offer and acceptance by the vendor was not respected and upheld. Mr. Singh simply rambled on about it being our own fault as we delayed with documents and did not take the process seriously. This is clearly untrue as it is evident in correspondence of my commitment to the sale.
I am utterly sickened and shocked by the way in which this entire process was handled and the unprofessional way in which my husband and I were treated by Mr. Sanbir Singh and Christopher Nevill, Uxbridge, as a firm. It is extremely unprofessional and dishonest to lie and dismiss sales agreements despite confirming in writing. It is also distasteful of Mr. Singh, an incompetent trainee salesman, to lay blame on us despite our efforts to provide all that was requested in a timely fashion.
In sum they lack honesty and integrity.

If you are a student make sure you avoid these at all costs.
We had a year of hell from this estate agents who provided no support/help for any issue with our letting (which there were plenty) and continually let us down throughout the year regarding any actions they told us were going to occur.
Look elsewhere.

Especially Darren was extremely supportive, on the spot and totally dedicated in order to make our journey super smooth. Even with incredibly difficult developers Darren and the team from Christopher Nevill continued to offer immense help and support throughout a very lengthly process. Darren and Suki were always happy to help even past the normal 9-5 working hours, without them I do not feel we would have moved into our first home. If there is one estate agents in Uxbridge to avoid then it would be Christopher Nevilles. The senior members were fantastic but unfortunately their junior staff are horrible to deal with and have ZERO people skills. Please train your junior staff in dealing with serious customers.

Quick to reply to emails and messages, managed to get me a viewing of my desired property with very little notice. Easy to work with and ultimately made a very rushed move significantly less stressful. As far as pre-move interaction I can't fault it. Kevin, Nicky and David have all been brilliant.

just there to take money from you and not give any kind of service for it, will charge hidden charges and will try to rob you of your money. as a tenant i had no rights and they tried to take the deposit on unfair grounds.

They do not deserve one star. By far the WORST set of people i have ever dealt with. My sister has been renting with them as shes a student. She pays her rent on time and is never late. The roof started acting up in December, when she contacted them she spoke to a woman called Kathy. She is the rudest person to date, she has ZERO customer service, am quite surprised at how she was hired! I then went on to speak to Kathy and she over talked me throughout the whole telephone conversation to the point were i had to raise my voice to be heard. She then said well i should deal with someone who has better customer services skills than me. I was then directed to Harpreet. We are now in March and the roof of the property has not been fixed. They keep telling my sister to move into another room smaller than what she agreed to. They gave her the number of the builders to contact herself, so am here wondering what service does the landlord pay for. We currently have our case with the private rent team because these people are the worst! Do not put yourself through the drama. My sister read the reviews and did not believe the people. The service that my sister has got and the rudeness myself and my sister have had to endure from these two women is shocking.

The worst experience I have had as a a Landlord. I would never go back or recommend Christopher Nevill. The reason for this is there poor service, lack of communication, lack of ability to resolve issues with tenants, lack of business skills in finding new tenant when the one of the tenant had broken the agreement at the start of the tenancy, etc.
This was my first year as a landlord and it was quite worse. To start with things were very hasty with signing the agreements. I signed the agreements and delivered it by hand to the office. After this they were suppose to send me my copy but I never received it.
The property was fully managed and I felt like I was managing the property for Christopher Nevills. I had to deal with most of the issues directly with the tenants, etc.
The communication with the agent was very very poor. Don't want to go in the details.
I don't like to comment negative. Just thinking about the whole process and the experience I had with Christopher Nevill is making me angry and frustrated. So I will stop here and just want to say to the landlords who are looking to let their property - put Christopher Nevills at the bottom of your list when you are making your decision.

I was given an appointment by kevin for tuesday 21st june , for 16.30pm arrived to find no agent and called office and guy was off sick bad management , i call also did tell the gentlemen kevin that i had a dsiablilty and could not stand around waiting, even this, was annoying what i saw in the front lawn annoyed me more rotten food thrown every where and the bush was in a hell of a mess . surely this should be cleaned before showing prospective clients around

I called them twice to see if they would be interested to list my property. On both occasions, I was promised that someone would call me but they never did. After reading other reviews of this organization, I am disappointed that I did not check the reviews first!!
