Great experience with Orpington Haart, special mention to Maisie. All queries and requests dealt with promptly. Always made to feel like any question was welcome. To put in context I should say we were buyers in the middle of a 3 party chain. We were having quite a stressful time with our buyers actually, so it was a relief to deal with friendly professional people at the top of the chain. I would recommend.
Paul and his team helped us work through the sale process through difficult circumstances, we are living in the US and were selling remotely over 4500 miles and 7 time zones! This made communication difficult (we are 7 hours behind the UK) and maybe because of this, we sometimes felt a little isolated and lacking reassurance that everything that could be done to make the sale happen, was being done. That being said, we would recommend them as they got the best price possible and gave good service up to and beyond the sale of our property.

We have used the Orpington office of Alan de Maid on many occasions when looking to buy a property and found them to be proactive and professional. We were introduced to Gary Tynan the financial consultant who arranged our mortgage and since helping us, went onto assist our two daughters in buying their first properties. They constantly co-ordinated the chain by providing us with regular updates and were always available to talk to, even after office hours
My property sale had legal complications which combined with a less than active purchaser' solicitor made the sale rather difficult. However with the professional and personable driving force of David Hughes (hero) and his team the sale progressed to a satisfactory conclusion. David and his team persevered despite many set-backs and I have been extremely satisfied with their work. I would most certainly use them again .Thank you Alan De Maid for saving my sanity.
Sadly I wan not impressed at all with the service I received.
I was told many things that did not materialised. The service was very poor from the start, errors were made and I had to continually chase the staff, took two weeks to get my property on rightmove, took three weeks for brochures which cost £500 waste of money, no photo in window and no updates. Basically I had to chase them for everything or all the above would have either not happened or taken longer. The only plus was that the staff were really lovely. I do not recommend ADMaid. Still waiting for my EPC and Photos after emailing them once, left a message and spoke to a member of staff ! That's the service I received. Good talk but little action.
