We had quite a tight criteria and knew it will take some time to find what we wanted. Deana was very helpful, she has an excellent feel of the clients’ needs, proactive, professional, polite and pleasant. Deana kept offering us properties to view, which matched our criteria and always remembered what we were looking for despite the search was long. 18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)We had 4 estate agents come round to value our house. We instantly warmed to Jeremy and really trusted his valuation and honest feedback. His valuation was spot on and the experience we received from start to finish was outstanding. Jenny and Emma in particular were incredible, always pushing to get us exchanged as quickly as possible as we’d already moved our children’s schools so in a rush! They worked so well with our solicitors and the rest of the chain but most importantly they were brilliant with me who’s normally a complete stress head. We are currently selling another property in another area and I can honestly say the estate agents are nowhere near as good. JDM get 5 stars, they were absolutely brilliant! Thank you!

9th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)Alex James and Callum were very kind, helpful, patient yet where necessary and appropriate weren't afraid to be direct and plain with me, and in Alex James's words it was to help me and I don't doubt that at all. He provided useful, helpful tips when I was experiencing feelings of being overwhelmed to be calm and collected yet respectful towards our new and upcoming landlord and general other tips for how any tenant is informed of things. I'm not surprised they've got such positive, spectacular reviews. It's a family owned and run estate agency too but overall have felt greatly supported and helped throughout the referencing and anything else they were to do to help our landlord. I have no problem recommending this estate agency, they seem very well knowledged, experienced, helpful, kind, patient yet also very honest. Thank you to Alex James and Callum you've been an honour to correspond with. Anyone who can be as good with me as they have been is worth this recommendation and honest review.

I spoke to Audrey and she went through all the details and got me a mortgage in principle. Audrey also kept me up to date with better deals as they were coming out to get the best rates. Audrey and her team helped me from start to finish and I felt more relaxed. I would like to say a big thanks to Audrey and her team for everything they have done and I will defiantly keep using them as there service is fantastic. 100%?????

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

23rd Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Lovely staff who are friendly and approachable. Caroline is lovely and was always providing us with weekly updates. Very knowledgeable and genuine. Staff were always positive, despite having a long 10 month wait which was down to vendors. Lovely little goodie bag received on completion.
16th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)I've had a disappointing experience dealing with Arber, who is responsible for renting our property. He has consistently paid us late, despite repeated reminders and excuses. Even after we formally handed in our notice and requested that tenants pay us directly, he failed to follow through. Despite terminating our contract, he continued to manage our account and still paid us late. It makes me wonder how many other landlords he's treating this way. On the contrary, Charlie, whom I've dealt with in the past when selling my house, is professional and a pleasure to work with. It's unfortunate that Arber's unprofessionalism has tainted our experience. I wouldn't recommend renting with this company. Save your money and find a more reliable option.

Very professional, genuinely knew the area and market, spoke honestly and plainly (not "salesy") and were competitive in price. I could not say the same for other estate agents I considered. Good at keeping in touch throughout the process and were persistent where needed to get the sale over the line.
