Phillips George estate agents are absolutely brilliant in their job. Extremely professional in conduct. Will listen to reasonable judgments and offers. Negotiations are paramount in securing the right price to agree on either side of the parties involved and Samantha made sure this was the case. They always kept us updated of the progress. It was not an easy process given the several lockdowns in our area's. With their consistent and constant efforts in chasing up conveyancing on both sides of the party, they made sure communications were not lost. We had the pleasure of dealing with Dan and Clare from Phillips George and I can honestly say that at every step of the way they were excellent. They set an ambitious but achievable asking price and thanks to their connections and industry we had three offers of the asking price within a week of being on the market. This was largely down to Dan's sales demeanour. He sells you himself when you first meet him as he values the property for you and you instantly think "if he can present our house half as well as he presents himself this is going to be a quick sell". Honestly you see it as soon as you meet him! They're communication with all parties was excellent for the duration of the process and as an added bonus they're just good people! The aftercare from Clare during the processes leading up to exchange of contracts was particularly valuable to us as she politely but diligently chased parties; her presence, in addition to the pestering we were doing, really helped us get over the line and made us feel like we had an ally! Phillips George provided an excellent, faultless and professional service for the sale of my property. Their proactivity from day one filled me with great confidence. Clare and Paul kept me informed of progress at every stage of the sale. The use of a property file software was a very useful and powerful tool to record, in real-time, information on viewings and feedback. However, I really appreciated how this was not used in isolation and that there was always a timely personal follow up call or email from Clare or Paul. Following the accepted offer Clare continued this regular contact and maintained momentum on the sale until the day of the completion. My property was probably at the lower end of the price range that Phillips George were selling at the time, however, I was always given first rate and immediate attention. From the initial meeting with Clare at my property (where we chatted about what I was looking for and what her company could do for me, with no heavy sales pitch) right through to completion of the sale. I've had some truly terrible experiences dealing with landlords and lettings agents before, from not recording rent payments to allowing problems with my rental property to go unresolved for the duration of my lease. These guys (and girls) are the true antitheses of those other money grabbing agents! They are helpful, punctual and actually do all the things they promise they will do, when they say they'll do it! Our experience with Clare & Paul at Phillips George could not have been better. From the outset, Clare came across better than the representatives of the other three estate agents we interviewed and her professionalism and friendliness was ever present throughout the process. Sadly, we were selling my late mother’s bungalow and, living over a hundred miles away, we could not attend the property regularly. Clare was happy to take on the responsibility of showing all perspective buyers around as well as regularly checking for any issues with the vacant premises. Her initial valuation was very similar to others and her negotiating skills are excellent so was able to sell the property at a price that suited both us as sellers and the buyers. Not only that, the first offer was received in just over a week. We found the Phillips George website user friendly and before posting our property, Clare checked we were happy with the advert , which looked great. We were regularly updated us on viewings and then the progress of the sale. Clare established the perfect level of contact with telephone calls as necessary and emails for more general updates. Unfortunately, only two weeks before completion, the first sale fell through. But Clare remained positive and optimistic. She was right as within three weeks, she had found cash buyers and this time, the process could not have been smoother.
