Friendly professional staff nothing was too much trouble for them always returned phone calls and helped with forms etc. where very good at communicating between my buyers solicitor and my solicitor. Nicola went above and beyond and when he things got a bit stressful we were able to have a laugh about it. Would definitely recommend

15th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)BEWARE - This is a scam agency. They take deposit money from people showing fake properties and you will never see the money again. I was the guarantor for my family friends who were messed around for the last 2 weeks with the promise of handing over the key. This never happened and they refuse to return the refund. I was initially dealing with Bhavna then passed on to Justin who laughed at me and said my name is not on the Guarantor form so he cant talk to me, so no refund. DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENT TO THIS ESTATE AGENCY We will be escalating this further and do what ever it takes to bring down fake estate agents like Belvoir Leicester. ----------------------------------------------------------- Update November 2025 We raised a complaint with TPO who set the rules and guidelines for estate agents in UK, explained our situation on an email with all the evidence. We received decision from TPO on the 28th of November advising Belvoir estate agents to refund our money minus reference fees. We have our money back now.

Mike was very good arranging photo’s and appointments around us and work which was challenging but not an issue at all. He has vast knowledge and a lovely guy. Even replying to emails late in the evening - complete dedication! Both Georgina and Shaniya have been polite and answered all questions and emails promptly. Shaniya arranged a viewing recently and kept my 8 year old daughter amused counting things with her so she wasn’t under our feet, this is what I love about Spencers’s. Shaniya didn’t need to do this but she was amazing and went above and beyond and we our so thankful so I felt I needed to write a review.

14th Apr 2026 (2 days ago)I would not recommend their services to any family member or friends. The team is extremely unprofessional and offers little to no support to tenants. Communication is poor, with minimal and unclear information provided about the property. In case of disputes, they appear heavily biased toward landlords rather than being fair to tenants. Be cautious with your deposit — expect unreasonable and questionable charges for cleaning, gardening, and repairs when you move out, which significantly reduces the amount returned. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

They’ve now supported us for nearly 2 decades during what are very challenging circumstances and we hope to continue.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I accepted an offer for the full asking price within four days of the house going on the market from a buyer on the Jowett and Stone database. I'm happy to say that my initial impression of the agency was further enhanced by the involvement of the office based staff. I was updated at every stage of the sales process by Karen and Philippa. I would highly recommend this thoroughly professional Estate Agency.
