Georgina has been nothing but utterly amazing. Her communication was faultless throughout and she made mine and my partners journey of buying our first house feel so much smoother and easier. Georgina understood what we were after when originally viewing properties with Spencer’s and sent us listings based off what we mentioned to her… we in fact brought a house she had sent to us rather then ones we were seeing online! Georgina always went above and beyond for us and nothing was ever too much hassle, She is such an asset to Spencer’s and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to buy!

My girlfriend and I would not hesitate in recommending the Wigston branch of Spencers to our friends and family. We used them when buying our first home (which was a very exciting but at times daunting experience) and the team at Spencers were there to help us along every step of the way. They were really friendly and excellent throughout the whole process from viewings to securing the mortgage, nothing was too much trouble for them and because or their excellent service we managed to purchase our dream home. A huge thank you to all the team and we will definitely be using their services again in the future

Brilliant service from Spencer’s Wigston, sold my property before it even went onto the market thanks to excellent communication with potential buyers. Friendly knowledgeable staff who helped with every step including helping me through issues with my onward purchase which was not at all related to them! Mostly spoke to Chloe who was brilliant but also had dealings with the other staff including Mo, Gem and Jo (I think!!) who were all amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to minimise the stress from their home sale or purchase.

Then worked with Emma who was brilliant at seeing the process through. Great communication, I was always in the loop and she really kept on top of everything. Emma dealt with a sale of a property and was fantastic throughout. She was always available and never made me feel as though I was bugging her. She always responded to emails promptly and when she said she would call back at certain times, she always kept her word. She also went above and beyond to communicate with the sellers and do all she could to push the sale through quickly. Thank you!

Being a first time buyer, I went into the process with a lot of uncertainty and questions about house buying and mortgages.
Cem was my mortgage adviser, and he did an absolutely magnificent job of it. He went through everything at my pace, with clear explanations, and ensured that I understood everything from start to finish. He did a lot to reassure me throughout and no question was ever too much trouble. I cannot fault him at all.
Similarly, I had a great overall experience with the Estate Agent team too. Whilst I felt there was a big rush at the offset, the team were very proactive in helping me with my purchase, especially Jo and Emma. They were both incredibly helpful liaising back and forth with those involved, and along with Chloe, helped move the purchase forward when it became challenging.
My one criticism is related to the conveyancing team that Spencers recommended. Their delays and inactivity put my mortgage offer at risk of expiring, and ultimately prolonged a no chain sale to over 6 months. Fortunately, the work of Cem, Jo and Emma all helped to push the sale along to completion in time for my mortgage offer to still be valid, which I was incredible grateful for.
I would happily recommend the team at Spencers Estate Agents, and especially Cem for Mortgage Advice, and want to thank them all again for helping me achieve my dream of owning my first home.

I Would never sell my house using spencers Estate agents again. Absolutely no communication from them. I had to chase them for any update.I had to show potential buyers around my property myself. They were incompetent and lost important documents that our buyer had requested then had the cheek to say we never provided them, When I had stood in their office while they photocopied them so we had to retake the documents to them and I told them that they must have lost or not photocopied the full document. They called us rude and that how dare we accuse them of losing documents. Jo decided to get in touch with me two days before completion and rang our cash buyer while I was on the phone to her so I could listen to their conversation, which was highly unprofessional. She then said look what I am putting up with (meaning our buyer) you need to lower the price or she is pulling out. As if moving house wasn't stressful enough I feel chloe and Jo at spencers made it an absolute nightmare for us. I begrudge giving them a penny for selling our house and their customer service was awful. They also have since contacted my partner who had previously gave them a 1 star review asking him to remove it. How unprofessional can you get. We are intitled to leave an honest review of our experience with spencers and sadly this was it

Bought my house through them, during Covid and have to say that the experience could not have been any better.
Gem advised on mortgages, insurances etc and really was a 'one stop shop' for everything. Jo completed my purchase even with all the adversity at the time.
Couldn't recommend them more. Wouldn't go anywhere else in the future, perfect!
(The cups of tea are perfect too). Thanks guys!
