Spencers were very helpful when an issue occurred at the time of moving into our new property. The lady in charge "Jo" turned up in her car to collect my keys. While "Alex" in his car took me and my dog to our home. The whole team go that extra mile which is a confidence booster.

I would give less than 1 star if you could.
How has Spencer’s got any 5 star reviews as my experience was awful!
It first started with contract. I agreed to a percentage of commission and JO then wrote it as a fixed price (not what I agreed to). She did that only seconds after me even saying it so there’s no excuse there. Annoyingly I only noticed later on.
I agreed to a 10 week contract and made it clear that I only wanted the house listed for 10 weeks. At no point was it mention that there’s a 28 day notice period until after the 10 weeks I asked for the house to come off the market for 2 months (to which I offered to sign a new contract for it to be listed again). At that point JO sent me to the contracts small print and the 28 days notice.
Now to me that made no sense as
1. I had offered to sign a new contract for it to be relisted in 2 months
2. I had made it clear from day 1 that I only wanted listed for 10 weeks and the notice period was 28 days
Therefore as JO wasn’t interested in me signing a new contract and forced me to keep the house listed for the extra 4 weeks I decided to go to another estate agents seems as Spencer’s were incapable of selling my home and that I was lied to and also manipulated.
Needless to say HUNTERS did a great job at selling my home and sold it within a week!!!
Moral of the story don’t use Spencer’s, use HUNTERS to sell your home instead!!!

Georgina has been nothing but utterly amazing. Her communication was faultless throughout and she made mine and my partners journey of buying our first house feel so much smoother and easier. Georgina understood what we were after when originally viewing properties with Spencer’s and sent us listings based off what we mentioned to her… we in fact brought a house she had sent to us rather then ones we were seeing online! Georgina always went above and beyond for us and nothing was ever too much hassle, She is such an asset to Spencer’s and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to buy!

My girlfriend and I would not hesitate in recommending the Wigston branch of Spencers to our friends and family. We used them when buying our first home (which was a very exciting but at times daunting experience) and the team at Spencers were there to help us along every step of the way. They were really friendly and excellent throughout the whole process from viewings to securing the mortgage, nothing was too much trouble for them and because or their excellent service we managed to purchase our dream home. A huge thank you to all the team and we will definitely be using their services again in the future

Gem helped me with my mortgage ina few years ago and was very kind, helpful and very knowledgable. I am back in touch now to revisit the mortgage and going back to Gem after great experience last time round

Brilliant service from Spencer’s Wigston, sold my property before it even went onto the market thanks to excellent communication with potential buyers. Friendly knowledgeable staff who helped with every step including helping me through issues with my onward purchase which was not at all related to them! Mostly spoke to Chloe who was brilliant but also had dealings with the other staff including Mo, Gem and Jo (I think!!) who were all amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to minimise the stress from their home sale or purchase.
