Upon arrival, we were instructed how to walk to our apartment which, to our surprise, was not located where we thought it would be. It was further away from the Hammersmith tube station than the Lamington Apartments’ general address, the reception being the only location given on a map when booking. This was rather inconvenient as we had a large luggage and had chosen the accommodation specificly based on it’s approximity to one of the metro lines.||||The room did not have any toilet paper, so we had to run to the nearest market first thing.||||The ”garden” was not a garden by our standards. It was a narrow, dark space below the ground level with concrete flooring and nothing green except some plastic plants (our visit was in May-June). ||||During the night, loud steps and stomping could be heard from the apartment above our bedroom. It felt like the ceiling was about to give in.||||Otherwise the stay was ok. Bonus points for the reception staff being very friendly!... Read more

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The logistics for check-in and check-out are terribly bad. You need to pick up the keys at one building and then walk about 7 minutes (with your suitcases) to the building where you will stay. For check-out, you can’t simply leave the keys inside; you need to walk back to the other building (carrying all your things again) just to return the keys. The neighbors upstairs were unbelievably noisy, and there were spiders in the flat. Also, despite the check-in being extremely late (4 pm, checkout 11 am), the keys were not at the reception when we arrived at 5 pm. Lastly, the location is quite far from the city center.... Die Wohnung war komplett renoviert und hatte alles was man braucht als Selbstversorger. Die Couch im Wohnzimmer ist etwas abgeranzt und man hört bei offenem Fenster die Lüftung des Bistrots/Restaurants aus dem Erdgeschoss und der Kühlschrankt brummt, aber ansonsten ist es ruhig. Unser Apartment war ganz oben und das Treppenhaus ist recht eng und steil, gut wenn man Hilfe beim Koffertragen hat. Zur UBahn/Bus Hammersmith ca. 9 Minuten und nach Shepherds Bush ca. 18 Minuten. Die Wohngegend ist ganz hübsch, einige schöne Vorgärten und nahegelegene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Um Eastlondon mehr zu erkunden, würde ich eine Wohnung zentraler wählen, sonst alles top.... Read more

We stayed for 6 nights during the Easter holidays and had no issues with heat/cold. We were told at Reception that the flat (136/3) had recently been renovated and it was very clean and tidy. There were a few gaps in the kitchen kit that I suggested they fill (no oven gloves, no oven trays, no scissors) plus they provided washing up liquid, two dishwasher tablets, two laundry tablets and 3 toilet rolls. No kitchen roll, cleaning spray or dishcloth. There was a pot of coffee/tea stuff but no condiments / oil etc. There was no dining table just some tall stools at the breakfast bar which were rather uncomfortable for me but seemed ok for the rest of the family. We had two bedrooms and one bathroom for a family of 3, which was fine, although the double bed room was very small and I would have much rather had the twin beds as a king-size and leave the double for the child. (I did ask for this in our Requests but it wasn't actioned - I should have pushed them for it as it would have been much more comfortable). I liked the location - even though there was a road at the front and a train line at the back it wasn't noisy enough to worry about. (The people upstairs were a bit heavy footed but they weren't there all the time we were). It was about 10 mins walk to Hammersmith which has a great network of underground lines (Hammersmith and City, Circle, Piccadilly, District) plus good buses too. It's not too far from Holland Park (we walked - great playground, gardens and design museum) and also a huge shopping centre at White City (Westfield) is just a couple of stops up the H&C line. Overall it fitted our needs very well. I just wish they hadn't been so stingy with loo rolls etc. Yes I understand it's self-catering but I feel that cleaning products etc. should come with the flat, you shouldn't have to buy spray and kitchen rolls etc.... Used to be Lovely apartments, however nowadays it’s not up to what it used to be, rooms isn’t always as it looks in pictures, staff and service are on poor quality. I have always been regular customer but I don’t recommend it anymore especially with current prices and for families... Read more

Abbiamo alloggiato in uno degli appartamenti situati ad Hammersmith per qualche giorno ad ottobre. Eravamo in quattro, due adulti e due bambini. L’appartamento in stile moderno era molto curato e pulito, era situato all’ultimo piano di una palazzina tipica inglese e comodo ai vari servizi. Abbiamo trovato l’appartamento con tutto il necessario, asciugamani, pentole, coperte… insomma non mancava niente. Il check in lo fanno al pomeriggio mentre il checkout è alle 11 di mattina. The apartment is in a perfect location. There is an underground station and a bus station within minutes. On the other side of the block there is a small grocery shop, 2 wine bars and a coffee shop. The house was fully equipped. It’s a two bedroom apartment with a double bed in one room and a twin room. There is also a backyard! It’s very cozy and perfect for family or two couples. Hello Thank you for asking about our stay. I must be honest and say that our experience at the apartment was quite disappointing. The reality of the apartment was nothing like what was advertised or depicted in the photographs we saw prior to our arrival. We felt completely misled and let down by the discrepancy. Upon entering the apartment, we immediately noticed that it was quite filthy. There was a significant amount of dust accumulated in various areas, and to our dismay, we even found food remnants in the couch. The lack of cleanliness was truly off-putting and not at all what we expected. Another issue we encountered during our stay was the abundance of flies in the room. It was rather unpleasant and made it difficult for us to enjoy our time in the apartment. We made several attempts to keep them at bay, but their presence remained persistent. Furthermore, the rooms were uncomfortably hot, especially during the night. Despite our efforts to cool down the space, it was challenging to get a good night's sleep due to the excessive heat. This significantly impacted our overall experience and left us feeling quite exhausted during our stay. Given these circumstances, we wanted to bring these matters to your attention in the hope that they can be addressed to prevent similar issues for future guests. We believe that it is crucial for accommodations to accurately represent what they offer to guests, both in terms of cleanliness and amenities. We appreciate your understanding and hope that appropriate measures will be taken to rectify these concerns. We liked the apartment very much but it is a little more outside of the Center of London. You have to change the train at least one time per destination. The district itself is a little lovely with a lot of possibilities to go out and visit restaurants. The apartment was a little pricy for the location which is - as I already said - not very central.... Read more
