Avoid these con artists at all costs. 18 months ago I found a property that I was interested in and asked if it had a pre payment meter as this was a huge no for me. I was lied to and spent 18 months failing to sort this with various energy companies. I was not told that the grass outside the maisonette, which was at a 45 degree angle, was my responsibility and classed as a 'garden' even though there was no door to this area. This then resulted in them demanding I mow it (even though it's at an extremely steep angle and there's no storage for a lawn mower). Fast forward 1 year and I advised that due to my dad dying of leukaemia, I would have to relocate to support family. I gave 6 months notice and paid over £400 so it could be re-let. I told Leaders on several occasions I would most likely be going at the end of June. During these months I had Connor messing up viewings, having people turn up at the property that I had to show around myself, and then Amiee demanding I pay rent for the first week of July as they have failed to get a tenant in sooner. I advised months ago I would be gone by the end of June, as well as advertised the place myself on local Facebook groups, completed viewings myself & communicated efficiently. It is not within my remit to accommodate for people failing to do their jobs properly, yet I'm being threatened with legal action because of Leaders' and others' ineptitude. Aimee is also demanding we pay to have new locks fitted as my partner (who's been in the military working away since before my dad even died) cannot return his key. I have completed viewings, advertised locally & done my best to get a new tenant found by the end of June. Leaders have taken £420 of my own money, messed up an already delayed process & then demanded more money from me. This has made my grieving process so much worse as I'm still living through the consequences of what was a very traumatic moment in my life. I don't know how these lot sleep knowing the stress they inflict on people.

I attended the booked viewing appointment and the letting agency (having all my details including current address) called me 10mins before the appointment to advise they didn’t have the keys from the property!! Completely disgusting the laid back attitude of the boy who called me! I’m heavily pregnant and was driving a non hands free vehicle 25+ miles during mine and my husband’s work schedule to make it for the viewing! I will never deal with such an unprofessional and disrespectful agency again!

Upon moving in to a property that was through leaders, a few days before we agreed to move in and collect the keys we were abruptly told that the house hadn’t been painted and decorated as promised when we viewed the property just a few weeks before as it was in a bruised state to say the least.
Once an agreement had been made between the landlord and ourselves, we moved in and thought that was the last bump in the road but we were wrong. When we moved in there was numerous problems with the house and even contents of the previous tenants left within the property which we had to organise to dispose of ourselves.
Since moving into the property in May, we have not felt left alone and feel that we are constantly being monitored by them. Our property manager Mahema, failed to get the house and garden sorted before we moved in and now we are pressured into getting the house in the state is should have been before we moved in.
I wouldn’t recommend Leaders based on our experience. Good luck with yours!

Just truly awful. They're alright when they don't have your money, but when they do and your tied into a contract....
Was told that walls would be freshly painted, holes filled and properly cleaned before we moved in, they weren't. We did it at our own cost.
Emergency phone numbers do not work. Had to move for a night with a 2 month old due to no electricity or water, no compo was offered for this.
Took nearly 2 weeks after chasing to get our deposit back. Absolute joke. Whoever you ask for is always on lunch.

So I gave a 5 star review about a year ago, but since then I moved out of my property and leaders decided they were going to try and get money out of me by making out I had left the property in a worse condition than when I moved in......... 84 days after I had moved out! Luckily I know that by law they have 56 days to contact me about anything of the sort, but I have to say they were very pushy, kept changing the asking price for certain things to be fixed etc and then even had the ordasity to completely change the reason as to why they were trying to get money out of me by making yet again more accusations which were not true! Very unprofessional, sneaky, harassing and somewhat bullying company this lot! I wouldn't go through these again if my life depended on it. I understand that the landlord would have had involvement in this but as estate agents, who are a so called professional organisation, you would think they would advise the landlord and stay within the boundaries of the law to which they should know like the back of their hand. Shocking estate agents who only care about getting more money from you, even if it is through lying, bullying and intimidation tactics.

Victoria at leaders was really decisive, professional and knowledgeable when dealing with evicting my troublesome tenants. I had found my own tenants who unfortunately gave me many sleepless nights. When leaders took over the management it eased the stress. Furthermore when I spoke to Victoria she was amazing and helped me with really difficult decisions when I was really stressed out.

5 star reviews are not easily given, Leaders earned this through doing a very profession job.
Moving house is never easy, but during the whole process we were kept informed of all developments (both good and bad) but most importantly all phone calls and emails were returned/answered quickly so we didn't have to chase.
Ellie was a pleasure to deal with, always with a smile and a can do attitude.

Mitchell & Ellie have been so great. They have made the application process easy, simple and enjoyable. By far the best experience I have had with an agent throughout my letting experience.
From the moment I spoke to Mitchell I can genuinely say he took the time to relate to what we was looking for, the availability and also just the incredibly warm and friendly approach from the moment he picked up the phone. Ellie has been wonderful she has answered my query's and she has been back and forth to me on the phone helping me complete the application in such good time. Meeting both of them in person was such a pleasure, instantly made us feel welcome and was just great to see two members of staff, take the time to get to know us and not just wanting us to get in and go which is the approach that most take unfortunately. Leaders should value their staff highly, without people like Ellie & Mitchell there is no heart to a company. More estate agents should lead from example on how professional, efficient, responsive and warming they have been. Knowing how lovely these agents are fills me with such confidence going forward.
Highly recommend to both Tenants and Landlords and I am more than confident that I will not be looking to deal with another agency going forward.

First class service from Leaders. My wife and I have dealt with both Mitch & Ryan at the Bromsgrove branch and they have been superb. As a landlord it is important that you feel that you are leaving your property in safe hands and that the agent will find the the right tenants for the property. From our first conversations and meeting with Ryan to regular conversations and contact with Mitch we have always had peace of mind that our property is in good hands. From the moment that our property went to market, through the viewing phase and eventually the signing off of contracts, Mitch has remained in constant contact via phone and email so we have always been kept up to date with proceedings and developments. My wife and I demand the highest levels of service and neither Mitch or Ryan have disappointed.

"Leaders"? More like "Losers"! I am a professional who along with my wife took time out of our day to view a property where the "negotiator" had no answers to our basic questions and the apartment stunk with rotting food in the fridge. Why didn't they clean this place on behalf of the poor landlord before "showcasing" this? What a waste of time for all parties involved. When I then attempted to discuss an offer with the "negotiator" I was met with a shrug of the shoulders and blank stare with no willingness to discuss how we could do a deal. We overlooked this and made a comprehensive and reasonable offer that same day to which we were given an email response saying that property is no longer available. Complete waste of our time and definitely a bad ride for the landlord who should seriously consider giving their property to another agency who has the skills to both prepare, market and the close a deal! I am shocked at how poor the rentals market is, and Leaders is certainly "leading" the way on maintaining a shoddy, unprofessional and incompetent service. I would advise any renters to not risk their hard-earned money with this agency and for Landlords to find an alternative agency as I will be not putting up my time to be wasted with this outfit.

In March this year me and my boyfriend found the ideal flat in Redditch to rent. We are now happily living there and have a wonderful landlord. However it has been a seriously bad journey made increasingly worse by the incompetence of Leaders.
There lack of knowledge and understanding was truly amazing.
1. We were constantly chasing them for updates
2. There total charges seemed to alter
3. We were led to believe they would get in touch with the council tax office to register us. This did not happen.
4. Our original girl from Leaders left and we were not informed who now would be looking after us. It took me to chase them to find out in which they seemed subdue to deal with us.
The total experience with Leaders was been at least stressful and unprofessional.

Don't touch Leaders with a barge pole! I have 20 photos showing how my property was left AFTER a tenancy under Leaders management (for which I had paid "charges"" each month). Heavily stained carpets, disgusting rancid smell, dirty windows and doors, stained walls, broken light fittings, mold inside the freezer, rubbish in the garden, a filthy cooker, and a shower leak left unattended - I could go on. I instructed works to be done on four separate occasions prior to re-marketing - Steve told me that works were were "in hand" and I trusted him - they weren't. Four months later and the property is still no where near the standard it was two years ago, when this tenancy commenced. It was immaculate and I am devastated, out of pocket and still in dispute with Leaders - I have lost £2 800 in rent + mortgage repayments and have a bill for £111 in utilities for an unoccupied property! (Kate & Steve both said they were sorting but unsurprisingly they haven't) Absolute shambles! I would suggest you avoid "Leaders" at all costs - they're not even followers! Landlords they don't deserve your business!
