As a landlord, I have used Dixons in Redditch twice this year for 2 rentals and also bought 1 property from the Bromsgrove office. Whilst some may perceive Dixons as 'pushy' (former review) - my experience has been extremely positive. It's true Dixons has a unique business strategy as far as sales goes, but that's so refreshing in this industry and I would describe this more as 'tenacious, motivated, consistent'. Yes they are sales-driven, but what I have found is that this means they go the extra mile and deliver on their promises. This is a massive advantage when they are working for you either as a landlord or a buyer.
As a landlord, I am fussy about who I rent to, so turn down a lot of applications. What Dixons (Sharaine,Maria and formerly Sarah) did extremely well, was to listen to and respect what I wanted and had endless patience with my deliberations over tenants! What I valued was that whilst they did challenge some of my thought processes, they did it in a very positive and constructive way - but always supporting what was important to me. At all times, despite their own agenda, they made it very clear that they wanted me to be happy with the tenant before I accepted - so it felt like they were on my side. They gave great clarity on specific issues such as references, contracts etc. so I knew exactly what my options were.
What Dixons excel at is the customer relationship - and do the cross-selling thing very well too (Sharaine remembered we wanted another property and picked up on one for us via Bromsgrove Sales) - they are also very good at follow up - I love an agent who does what they say they will - makes all the difference when an Agent is pro-active, steps back when they need to, but takes control when they need to.
Having tried other agents in the area, I have to say Dixons have been the most professional to work with - put your trust in these ladies ....they won't let you down!
