1st Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Was asked to provide review after the first meeting with CEO, initial thoughts were well organised and superb communication. 3 months down the line, we were told completion should be happening now, this has been pushed back to another 3 months. Had to chase on numerous occasions to find out what is going on. Feel really let down by this company after our first initial appointment. Had the estate agent advertised property was not going to be available until the summer, we wouldn't have continued.

Our parents have used the services of this business of many years at different times it was only right they did this Sale.Caroline kept us updated throughout this very stressful process and re assured us at every stage. I can call at anytime and they will resolve any queries or issues I have immediately. They know the background of all my properties which helps with any dealings. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The team there is amazing, which is a testament to Meg, the Lettings manager. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the viewing with Naomi, to then communicating with Blythe, Michelle and Naomi over phone and email. Thank you for a great experience :)

Excellent service from OPA, particularly Zara Thomas who heads up the investment division. Very professional, honest and helpful. She will tell you her honest advice and opinion and she goes out of her way to make sure everything goes through. OPA are not sales people, they genuinely want you to have a good investment. We were cautious at first but have had superb experience. We are saving up now for our next one. We would recommend Zara & OPA to anyone considering buying.

25th Feb 2026 (9 days ago)From the time they met with us to do the valuation to selling the house there was always someone there to answer our questions or sort out concerns. It was a very daunting prospect selling the house but Chris the valuation guy was very friendly and offered help when we were struggling with things. The house went up for sale and they sold it within 3 weeks and for a really good price. They handled the bookings and the viewings and the process so far has been really easy. Their advice has been really helpful.
