We viewed, paid a deposit and sorted our paperwork for a flat to Let yesterday. We couldn't be more overwhelmed by the kindness, love, support and professionalism shown by this wonderful team. With special thanks to Fiona who was amazing on the phone, and Caroline who took us round the flat and listened to us planning our new place out and contacting the landlord to make sure our move in would go as smoothly as possible. Contacted LLA as we were looking for a first property for our Son to rent, from the very first phone call they were really friendly and helpful. We met Yvette at the property, she was fab, really helpful and honest. They even helped to negotiate the rent with the Landlord on our behalf. They couldn't have done more to help us. Very disappointed at Letts Letting agency! Never even met the agent as they "missed" or forgot the viewing we had booked with them two days earlier. My boyfriend and I drove from Brighton to view a flat and waited 40 minutes for someone to show up, phoned them 5 times and no answer. Really unprofessional service! Not recommending this agency in Eastbourne area! There were also another family waiting for a viewing but they got ignored by this agency too.... Read more

I've rented from many lettings companies and learnt a lot about how a lettings company should treat their customers. Letts lettings have looked after the Tennant's interests and also the landlords. I have been using Letts fully-managed service for my 3 rental properties for 10 years now and they are a really excellent team. They have all the professional knowledge to ensure everything is done properly. They are very responsive if there is anything that needs repairing and I hardly have to get involved at all. They always check with me by email before incurring any costs and I have always been happy with the quality of the work done by any tradespeople they use. Letts are very careful when choosing tenants and I am sure that is why we have never had any problems with unsuitable tenants. Letts' charges are very competitive. Not too impressed, lack common curtsy. 2 stars due to fact they were accommodating with arranging a viewing very promptly. Showed interest in property asked if could talk to partner first. Letts have looked after my properties since 2009. I cannot stress what a valuable, professional service the team have provided during this time. They have sourced good, reliable tenants. Regular checks are made to the properties so that gives me ( and the tenants!) great peace of mind.They are hands on whenever a maintenance problems arise, helpfully recommending good contractors wherever they can. After renting from them for just 6 months, I had to get out of there. As much as I liked the property I could no longer take the unacceptable "service" and staff. They ignore you They make decisions without consulting the owner They take forever to respond to any messages or calls Rude over the phone Very abrupt Extremely unhelpful! Speak to you like you are dirt on their shoes and act like they are doing you a massive favor by letting a property to you. They do not know you on a personal level and believe they have the right to judge. Terrible agency... I would totally avoid them! Even if they had my dream home, it is just not worth the hassle....
