3rd Apr 2024 (23 days ago)Moving in to a clean, hygienic property is standard. But clearly not in this case. The flat had been cleared of furniture, but not cleaned. Some of the dirt was a direct threat to health ie. Black mould. I documented this the day I moved in, sent photos to this agency and requested cleaning from the landlord,as long as it wasn't taken from my deposit. Now my tenancy has ended and they are trying to withold over £180 from my despoit for "cleaning" despite I left the flat in a spotless condition. The landlord (who wishes their identity to remain secret, I wonder why?) clearly trying to negate their responsibilities and save cash. Parasitic. I left the property spotless, however when I moved in it was a state. Would you accept this as the state of a property when you move in. Black mould, heavy dust, extractor fans clogged with grease and a filthy oven? Do better.
2nd Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)Unquestionably it's 10 out of 10 for the 100% service provided by Michaela and her colleagues Karen, Gina, Paul, Lorraine and Neil. Taylor Engley easily fall into the 'A Team' category of Eastbourne Estate Agents, and from my experience of how they handled the sale of my late father's property, it was everything you would expect from a group of professionals on top of their game. I've been involved in the property business in the UK for over 50 years and have dealt with hundreds of Estate Agents far and wide. I can confidently state that Taylor Engley are up there with the very best. Well done to Michaela, who excelled on every level. She navigated the sale in a totally seamless fashion and is truly a great asset to the Taylor Engley organisation. I can only speak as I find, and for my part, the service I received was outstanding. The Taylor Engley team are worthy recipients of this praise, and Michaela in particular, as my main point of contact, put her heart and soul into looking after all of my needs, as well as providing full support to the purchaser. 4th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Richard James and the whole team at Rager & Roberts were always professional and kept me updated throughout the whole sales process. Any estate agent can list your property for sale on Rightmove etc. and attend viewings but it was from the sale negotiation process to completion where Rager & Roberts really excelled.
28th Nov 2023 (21 weeks ago)Provide a very personal service. Regular communication and advice. Proactive, very professional and diligent at all times in a difficult and uncertain market. I never needed to consider changing agent. Thoroughly recommend. And ….. a really lovely team of people!

30th Nov 2023 (21 weeks ago)Fay turned my apartment around in time for my new tenant. There wasn't a lot of time to do so and I was really anxious it wouldn't be done it time. However, I shouldn't have worried - without her determination and "above and beyond" approach my new tenant moved in and we're both super happy. THANK YOU SO MUCH Fay - you're the BEST!

When my other half and I wanted to secure a mortgage, Stephen Rogers (Branch Manager) put us in contact with their resident Mortgage Advisor, Andrew Titherly (Sequence Mortgages). As nervous first time buyers, nothing has been too much of a request for Andrew and his counsel has been greatly appreciated. We will happily recommend Andrew, with strong praise and doubtless confidence as THE mortgage advisor to work with in the area. You could go anywhere, but if you want the job done properly - Andrew is your man!

Nothing Jackie and I can say will ever be enough to be put into words the gratitude and thanks that we give for your hard work that you have all put in to not only selling our property but giving us the home we have so desired for so long . There were many times we were quite ready to throw in the towel but through your sheer tenacity Coilin you never gave up and soldiered on with this constant belief that its not over till its over. Your problem solving spirit shows no limits and you jumped every hurdle put in front of you and thank god you did. I always said there is no price you can put on experience and you and Issey and your team have proved that without a doubt , the longevity of your company is testimony to your ability to deliver what you say to the best of your ability and should I require your services again I would not hesitate to call you or recommend you to anyone who may wish to travel down the road we have in full confidence. As a first time buyer they supported me through the journey and were sure to keep me up to date and informed throughout. We were able to complete on the property just over two months from first viewing the property and everything was as simple and straightforward as could be. Owen and Kevin looked after me and I would like to thank both of them and everyone at Greystones for making it so positive.

Having Bundy and Bond as our estate agents was pretty much the only part that was a fantastic experience of moving, which says alot about them and the conveyancing process in the UK! We spoke to a few estate agents initially and we chose them because they were clearly interested in getting a sale and getting it quickly, not putting it up for an inflated price and setting our expectations above what's possible. They delivered on this, with 3 viewings we had 2 offers so you can't argue with that efficiency! The only sticking point during the initial process was the quality of the sales brochure for our property. That being said Tina dealt with our concerns quickly and decisively, a new brochure was created and it led to a rapid sale. From the point of sale we dealt primarily with Geoff, who was tremendous. He answered all my calls promptly, always explained things clearly and even escalated to our solicitors when things weren’t getting done. Even when Geoff wasn’t around everyone else in the team did a great job picking up and helping, which was the exact opposite of my experience working with the estate agent on the other side of the chain. Overall I’m pleased we went with Bundy and Bond, and I’d recommend them to anyone else looking to sell their house locally!

Anne worked tirelessly on it, she would not give in and ended up being the one co ordinating all the clients, estate agents and solicitors all along the chain.I believe our move would not have happened if we had not had Anne championing our cause. The whole team were friendly and professional and kept us updated at all times. I would wholeheartedly thoroughly recommend using Angela Marden Estate Agents. I cannot rate Anne highly enough and will miss our daily chats. Thank you Anne, and relax

18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

27th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)Eightfold is poorly run, with a lack of honesty, integrity and an incredible lack of any concern and respect for their tenants. Eightfold represent all the worst traits of lettings agents. I'm amazed this company get any good reviews at all. Not surprising that most of the good reviews are from landlords and ALL the bad ones from tenants. If you are a tenant, my advice would be to steer well clear of this revolting company if at all possible.
