She was there before either of us for the viewing and got everything done and resolved on the day in terms of submitting a offer and being accepted. Plus she ensured that the two issues with the new flat were fixed and completed for when we moved in just a week later. I used Mark Hart as a tenant for nearly 2 years and the service throughout was fantastic. Super clear communication, very pleasant to deal with and most importantly they were very fair to us as tenants.
Any issues with the property were dealt with very quickly and I think they are the first agency I've used that didn't try and screw us out of a deposit!
If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

Lived in a flat provided by the agency for almost 2 years. The state of the flat when I moved in wasn’t great and everything broke. Boiler broke several times, once for 3 weeks over the winter and the agency didn’t seem to mind it too much and they “generously” let £50 off my rent. All my heaters broke as well and had to be changed. The agency couldn’t tell me, who my electricity provider was when I was trying to change providers and the actual electricity meter was registered under the wrong address so it was impossible to change it. Before moving out they asked me to provide the flat for a 4 hour hours long viewing sessions, which I agreed to and the girl who was carrying out the viewings locked herself into the bathroom, disturbing my expensive theatre experience. Luckily an emergency locksmith got her out leaving a mess. Whenever anything broke, the handymen would leave a mess and I got to clean. When moving out, the procedure the estate agency has was extremely stressful, they ended up deducting for cleaning after the flat was professionally cleaned. They ended up deducting for minor damages for things that were already used and not in great condition, when I moved in. I would stay away from this company in the future.

I was lucky to deal with them on my 1st property purchase. After having viewings with many other « high street » estate agents, I can confirm none of them reached the level of service I received from Mark and his team. They do put people interests at heart, which is in my opinion a must have for anyone who is not familiar with buying process.
From viewings to completion the team was always available to answer my questions, and reassure me throughout the process. I have been receiving constant updates and also went above and beyond to push the transaction ahead. I will definitely be using their services in future if I sell or decide to rent my property.

Mark has looked after my property for several years and I have found him to be reliable and professional and a good person to deal with. His team of contractors decorated and carpeted the house and found me four reliable tenants without delay. He responds to all requests immediately and is available to call round to the property when needed. I value my tenants and like to be proactive in dealing with problems that arise. A leak in the ceiling, kitchen floor flood and a roof check were all carried out promptly. Importantly, I have peace of mind when it comes to every aspect of legal compliance. I asked Mark and his team to take on the arrangements to get new tenants in place. This included drawing up the tenancy agreement, doing what was needed to confirm “right to rent” and setting up tenant deposit protection.
This was all done to my total satisfaction - no drama but an appropriate pace was kept and all the loose ends were tied up well within my timescale.
I felt a sense of being a valued client - much more so than when I’ve worked with multi-office agents. Equally I felt the charge for the work represented great value.

Approached Mark about giving away my flat for next to nothing, it had been vacant for a while, years. Mark advised me to consider renting and assured me that he was familiar with the local area like the back of his hand and detailed his process and the pros of renting in the area. I have been liaising with mark for around 4 years now. He has rented out my property in London 3 times. Each time the process has been effortless. Mark takes so much pressure off finding good tenants. He provides up to date relevant market information to help you make an decision and follows every step to make sure suitable tenants are found. He listens to your needs and follows through. In the last year Mark has also been managing my property and he has been amazing. Very responsive and always communicates concerns. He only comes up with solutions, and no problem is too big. Mark has great contacts with tradesmen and is able to arrange any work needed. He will communicate progress without ever needing to chase him. Contracts, referencing, everything is electronic. Easy, with links you just have to hit accept. No need for endless paper work. He arranges inventories and is flexible with adapting his services offered to meet your personal needs. No complaints from me, thanks for everything Mark!

We met Mark's professionalism when we first bought our flat in 2019, when it came the time to sell it we thought about him right away. Mark was responsive, got amazing photos made of our old flat and we had an offer right off the bat. Mark managed the buyer's expectations and the whole process, although longer than we'd like to (due to our purchase delaying) went on smoothly.

For the past ten years or so I have used a couple of the larger agencies in the area to find tenants for my two buy-to-let flats in Bromley but never felt they gave me a personal service or that they were really invested in finding me the right tenants . My experience with Mark Hart has been completely different. He is extremely professional, polite, friendly and above all he gives a personal service and has a genuine interest in finding the right tenants for your flat. At the very outset of our journey buying our first property, Mark distinguished himself from the other estate agents who had shown us around various properties. He brings an attention to detail and a personal touch that we simply didn't experience with employees of other, larger, chains. The answers to almost any questions we had after our initial viewing were at his fingertips, with the very rare odd detail he didn't immediately know being communicated by email very promptly afterwards. As first-time buyers, his confidence and knowledge of the process was of great reassurance.
Once we had decided this property was definitely for us, Mark adeptly facilitated negotiations and we were very happy to have an offer accepted in short order. We exchanged after a fairly long period, with Mark helping to chivvy along conveyancers on both sides. Completion is at the end of this month, and we're very grateful that it was Mark who has guided us through the process. 5 stars and then some.

A complete waste of time, jumping through hoops. Mostly selfishness on the landlords part but equally poorly handled by director of the estate agents who wasn’t fully aware of the landlords full situation which resulted in false advertising on the listing, hence this review being directed here.
Listing was advertised as fully furnished available 1st of feb, once we had written a personal statement and put in the asking offer we then waited days for the landlord to ponder over it, we were then told the landlord doesn’t technically own the property in full yet (probably illegal to let at that stage) so there would be a delay in the move in date and that she’s would be removing most of the furniture.
No apology in the end from Mark Hart real estate for the poorly handled situation and for wasting our time just before Christmas.
Glad we avoided in the ended, would go for a well known London estate agent if we were to rent again.

Mark was recommended to us by multiple sources and we appointed Mark to help sell our property after being on the market for four months with a large, well known estate agent in the area (SE4). My main issue with the previous agent was lack of continuity with viewings and lack of communication / feedback.
Mark came round and straight away suggested a few quick fixes that would visually impact potential buyers (crack in window frame / new shower seal etc). He was clear in the sort of buyer he thought we should be targeting and suggested the way he thought best to generate interest and momentum. He was always communicative with regard to viewings, flexible to our availability and best of all gave an immediate sense of how the viewing went. We didn’t have to wait days for him to officially hear back from the viewer, he would message straight after with his thoughts and feeling on how the viewing went. This resulted in us having three offers on our property after little more than two months. The first unfortunately fell through but Mark was with us every step of the way, immediately re listing and contacting anyone who had shown an interest and getting them straight in for further viewings. We were back under offer within the week. We were on a fairly tight timescale with our completion deadline and luckily could trust Mark to work hard to progress the sale and get us to exchange to meet that timeline. If you’re thinking of selling in the area and your priorities are responsiveness, communication, continuity and perseverance then you can’t go wrong with Mark!
