Sold within 48 hours. James gave us good advice about preparing for selling, and a realistic valuation. We felt we could trust him to do the job well. Plus points were McField's use of social media for advertising, the beautiful professional photos they produce, and their availability over weekends.

During our house sale, McField failed to find out just how big a chain our buyer was in (we only learnt this a month later from another agent when an offer we made on a house was declined for this reason). We would have rejected the offer if we knew the size of their chain. Later the buyer pulled out of the sale and Mcfield threatened to still charge us the 1% 'sale' fee!! This is not even in their T&C's. Terrible service from start to finish and we had to do most of the chasing ourselves. We eventually sold our house to another buyer after 6 months but before then we missed out on buying a home because of McField and had the worry we were going to be charged nearly £2k when our house hadn't even sold. Selling our house with McField has been a nightmare experience.

Just sold my house using McField and I am very grateful to James and the team for their support and hard work in difficult times. They make fair valuations and did a great job presenting the house. James did all the viewings and sold my house very quickly (twice over...as my first sale unfortunately fell through.) I am happy to recommend McField as they were very supportive and also successful in selling my home quickly.

What started off as a nightmare with our previous estate agents we rang McField and from the first time we spoke to James he was fantastic! Within 10 mins

‘Sold in a day!’ is the headline, but the full story is one of a professional, experienced and knowledgeable team working together to get the best outcome for you, the client. I was sceptical about using a high street estate agent due my previous experience of mediocre (at best) efforts from other agents over the years. However, James came to our home and really sold his service with enthusiasm and with his knowledge of the the local market, as well as the national conditions. He gave us advice on the timing and the projected sale price - he was absolutely spot on with both! Jackie and the office team are very pro-active with social media, mailing lists and have a good understanding of the needs of prospective buyers. Once the service is agreed, the photographer is booked (The quality of the photos really helped sell the property), the ‘For Sale’ board goes up and the house details are posted on social media and prospective buyers are contacted.
I would recommend allowing James and Jackie manage and conduct the viewings as they really sell the property with a focus on the positives without going off on tangents, as home owners tend to do. They are also happy to do evening and weekend viewings to make it easier for busy prospective buyers.
As experience negotiators, they manage the offers and give sound advice on the best route to a completed sale. Once the sale is agreed, then they really earn their money - They chase up the conveyancing, proof of funds, keep the clients informed at every stage, and are on hand for advice and support.
The proof of their expertise can be seen with a walk around the local area - Their sale boards outnumber their rivals’ ten to one. In summary, Mcfield Residential Limited are worth every penny in my book - Thank you James, Jackie, Natalie and the team!
