I was for sale with another agent who shall remain nameless, only 1 viewing in 10 weeks and had me reduce by £10,000. Went on with william h brown who talked me into putting the price back up and got me what I wamted, I am delighted. James saved me money on my mortgage deal too. Great service, these guys are hot and worth every penny!
Bought my first house in March 2017.
Many thanks to Lee at Bridgford's in Halifax who went the extra mile and beyond!
Lee was very helpful and supportive and overall superb throughout the whole process.
From day one, everything was explained to me clearly and Lee removed away any stress.
This was kept simple by giving me the best options with honest advise for me to decide what's best for me and my family.
I had my mortgage done at Bridgford's by Lee apart of Countrywide Mortgages.
Countrywide/ Lee offered me the best deal which included in all the high street lenders. This cost me in total £399 after completion and compared to all banks it costs £500.
Bear in mind like all of us.
We work between 9-5.
Lee was very helpful and stayed back until 6.30pm many nights which in all fairness he didn't have too and I can't see any bank being that flexible.
Highly recommend Bridgford's for buying a family home or new house.
Recommend Lee for first time buyers or anyone needs a mortgage or remortgage.
Friendly smooth simple and the stress free process. Excellent professional services with honest advice giving you the best options to make your own decisions!
I will be going back in the future!
My partner rented from here and the service was shocking charged for everything no matter how small and the could never get the landlord to fix anything properly he would do it as cheap as possible and Bridgfords would never help getting in contact with him and when ringing up even early u can never get through to them takes ages all in all will never go with them again
I would highly recommend Simon Blyth Estate Agents, they were proactive, efficient and extremely professional all the time.
What was a stressful process was made easier by their positive approach and nothing was too much trouble.
Will definitely use them again :-)
This estate agent is over pricing at the moment on the bigger properties. The properties are sat on the market for a long time and do not sell until the vendor either goes with another agent or takes it off the market completely. Just wasting everyone's time really.
Emmy was very efficient during the negotiation stage of purchasing a property I'm in the process of buying. I'm confident that the completion will be equally as smooth.
Very good team at Ryder & Dutton Huddersfield branch (Emmy, Nicole & Simon) I would most certainly recommend them at this stage so far.
Never met a more inept estate agents.
I am currently the tenant of a property they are trying to let.
We are due to move and since the property has been on the market I have received numerous calls for viewings. Because of this I informed them that we could only do set days, to which they ignored. On one occasion I even had one employee very rudely inform me that "this man has taken Monday off work to view this property" to which I replied "well I haven't, maybe he should have checked with us first". One employee actually let herself in with a key whilst we were at home. Maybe I am over-reacting but until the tenancy is up this is our home and that should be respected; strangers should not be letting themselves in with a key. Nonetheless, these incidents were not what prompted me to write this review.
A couple of days ago we were expecting a viewing on a Wednesday afternoon to which they didn't show. After waiting in all afternoon I called Ryder & Dutton to ask why it was they didn't show; during this phone call the woman firstly didn't realise we were the tenants and mistook us for a viewing, very rudely referred to me as "Becky" ( we had been speaking almost everyday and I began the call with my full name so I have no idea how she misinterpreted it) and said that the property was now let agreed. How somebody from the office failed to tell us this I have no idea. We were due for another lot of viewings today and this Sunday and if we didn't get in touch with them ourselves I highly doubt they would have told us that they were cancelled too.
I should have taken our initial meeting with Ryder & Dutton before we became tenants as a warning which I won't even bother going into. From start to finish all they have been is exhausting.
just found my first home. Hannah helped make it so much easier for and stress free. Can't thank them enough.
Terrible. Lies, lies, lies. Messed around for 6 weeks when trying to apply for a property in Field Hurst, Scholes. Story would change every single week - first the property is lived in, then it's vacant. Then the landlord lives abroad which caused massive delays, then he's on holiday and actually lives just behind the property we wanted. Oh... and that delay then causes us to miss the deadline for putting in our notice on our current property (we had 4-6 weeks apparently) only to then be told they want someone in next week. Eh!? This is because the Landlord is worried about being responsible for the Council Tax (on an empty property - don't think so!) and had to be corrected by his colleague that he was talking out of his backside.
Also beware - they like to make up fake interested parties to put the pressure on (or so they think - their stories never add or tally up - they're not clever enough to pull this one off but it doesn't stop them trying).
They'd happily deal with my wife but not with me, and the woman who I assume is the manager of this 'establishment' is plain rude.
Avoid at all costs - charlatans of the very highest order. Reading the other two reviews of this place a lot of things are sounding very familiar. As I said to them - the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing and if I ran my business the way these run theirs I'd have no customers and would be bankrupt... you've been warned!
The Business Centre, Deanhurst Park, Gelderd Road, Gildersome, Leeds
During the sale of our business the staff at Ernest Wilson have all acted in a professional and courteous manner, concluding with prompt transfer of the funds into our account on the day of completion.
Never written a negative review in my life but this was a must. Strongly wouldn't recommend. Its not that the business which me and my wife built up sold too quickly, i asked you for the total cost and then asked if this could increase, was told no. I just wanted to know all costs prior to agreeing for you to sell for US.Came to you billing us and guess what....... more money.
The sale went through quickly because of us and the buyer having to get on to your staff. That was a discount price ha ha ha ha!!
