Recently bought a bungalow from someone who actually works at SW Property. The bungalow was left in a filthy state, with piles of rubbish left by the overflowing bins. I obviously contacted the estate agents who passed on my message to the vendor. I wanted the property to be either cleaned or for a team of cleaners to be paid to go in. She said someone would come in half an hour to clear the rubbish. No one ever arrived. The vendor said to go through a solicitor re the cleaning. My sister had a similar situation. The estate agents sent round a team of cleaners and billed the vendor. No such service from this company They had also refused to meet me at the property to show me how the burglar alarm worked etc. I would certainly not recommend this team. Sick of hearing the excuses for mould and repairs that are "ongoing" for our property third hand, i will be at the next inspection myself instead of my brother and partner who keep getting fobbed off, i work for one of the biggest housing associations in the uk and deal with 80+ different houses every month so i know her solution of "just open the windows" isn't enough to remove mould which defeats the point of a ventilation system that is in every room of the house not too mention the bathroom which window never gets shut unless its really cold and has an extraction fan and is one of the worst rooms in the house for mould. We were told we could have new carpets and flooring that were beyond ruined (thanks rug doctor) when we moved in we are now 6 years on and still fighting for them, I am fortunate enough to know a fair few contractors for jobs i cannot do myself but looks like i have no choice but to do it myself and send the bill to them... What a smooth operation! From the house going on the website to one of the resulting five good offers being accepted took less than 3 working days! Unbelievable. Throughout, the staff have been wonderful - Emma initially and then Leah have kept us fully informed at every stage, and were always readily available by phone. I am so glad we opted for SW. Rented -64 market st Would never deal with these thieves again .. i was treat so terribly by this agency and staff last year I havnt got over it ..they rented me a property not fit for purpose .. I froze for 6 months all winter without adequate means to heating the rooms.. I was provided with a small blow heater and small plug in radiator which just rocketed my bill I had to bathe at my mother's as it was ice cold the shower was broken .. and covered in mould.. I was constantly sick.. couldn't use the living room because of the leak in the ceiling and there was a rat problem as reported by the solicitor company in the property next door. I reported all my issues and nothing changed then when my contact was up after 6 months and wanted to leave they added charges so I couldn't have my bond back .. plus an extra one for my keys being back a week late due to my area we property manager going on holiday.
