It is an old built station. Not a lot staff in this station. Take care when you exiting the station during rush hour as it can be busy.

I have been living for 1 year in this area
The worst station I have ever seen
Dirty station
Trains always delayed no information on the board always saying check the front of the train
And be aware of Romanians they form groups and they try to steal from you in any moment police don't care

The utilitarian Grade II Listed station mostly rebuilt in 1902 on top of the railway bridge an inconspicuous presence.
The platforms here date from 1858, retaining some period fabric including the caste-iron canopy support columns with their distinctive brackets bearing the elaborate entwined monogram LTSR (London, Tilbury and Southend Railway.)
Dreary and dull here with Mark Wallinger’s labyrinth plaque # 85/270 positioned (unusually) on the platform, a welcome diversion.
Staff vigilant, primed and En garde.

Warming lots Lunatic , rude people live in this area, this area is very dangerous, people get kidnap in day light, people poverty stolen and scammer work in this area. They are lots Romanian Lunatic work in this area to harm people. so very careful if want go outdoor plus, this place is disgusting, unclean area.

This train station is not very pleasing to look at. It seems as if people aren’t interested in taking care of it.
It’s not outrageously dirty, but there’s lots of space for improvement.
Regarding the functionality, it’s pretty decent and punctual most of the time.

East Ham station is one of the Underground station I East London where District and Hammersmith & city lines runs. Even though it's one of the busiest station, it doesn't have lift that's operational for many months. I have seen so many finding difficult due there due to lack of stepfree access to platforms. Recommend to have a toilet inside which eventually keeps the surroundings clean n tidy.

Staff doesn't have any update about train departure, if there is any problem on truck they dont have any idea whats going on, customers has to figure out by themself which is ridiculous... We paid for it every year more and more, they're usually sitting on the bench and watching phons ! And they want to increase their salary ! Its not just east ham station we talk about all tfl london. First train in the morning and tgere is already problem with it!!

Small but busy train station, usually heavily crowded during rush hours. Stairs which lead to the platforms get slippery especially at heavy showers. Usually clean platforms with little time to wait for the next train. There are also machines that can top up your oyster near the entrance/exit

Small station in zone 3 for district and Hammersmith line . Lot of asian shops, restaurants and hindu temple near by. Very crowded during peak hours and difficult to enter in to the station in stairs. Lifts available and small news agent shop present inside station.

Very very busy Tube Station. Oyster machine is not adequate. Always a long queue for every thing. Take 10-15 minutes extra if you are using this tube station.

I used to live 1min distance from.the East Ham station.
I have been working as a distribuitor of Evening Standard every evening from Monday to Friday and also every Friday morning NME magazine.
The station are very friendly and helpful.

Good service. Small, old and busy station. Period type of building. Outdoor platforms. District line. Located on a very busy High Street surrounded by shops and amenities. No passengers drop off area. The road is overcrowded and with high traffic

One of worst customer service ever seen staff is hilarious they think that they are owner of station. Station supervisor Mr khan is so proudly and stiff personality you scared while asking assistance, please never ask help at East Ham station.
