The worst station I have ever seen
Dirty station
Trains always delayed no information on the board always saying check the front of the train
And be aware of Romanians they form groups and they try to steal from you in any moment police don't care... Read more

The utilitarian Grade II Listed station mostly rebuilt in 1902 on top of the railway bridge an inconspicuous presence.
The platforms here date from 1858, retaining some period fabric including the caste-iron canopy support columns with their distinctive brackets bearing the elaborate entwined monogram LTSR (London, Tilbury and Southend Railway.)
Dreary and dull here with Mark Wallinger’s labyrinth plaque # 85/270 positioned (unusually) on the platform, a welcome diversion.

This train station is not very pleasing to look at. It seems as if people aren’t interested in taking care of it.
It’s not outrageously dirty, but there’s lots of space for improvement.
