A viewing with an individual at Blairstow Eves EH when house hunting almost four years ago has been burned into my memory as the single worst viewing I've ever experienced, with one of the rudest people I have ever met. This team member was rude and condescending from the moment we met. He was indignant when I asked to see the garden, begrudgingly agreed that I could, but snapped at me that I almost let a cat in on my return. I was also snapped at for asking to test the tap and told not to touch anything. I tried to make conversation by asking why the owners were selling to which this team member replied 'what does it matter'. I sent an email to relay this to the team at the time via email, to no response.

Great experience with the entire team at the East Ham branch along the whole journey from initial contact to the completion date. Katrina Hopkins was warm and attentive during our initial conversation. She took the time to understand our needs and concerns, she also laid out what Bairstow Eve would provide as a service clearly and concisely.
Maria Qureshi was also a key part of the process and provided excellent support up to the very last minute of the completion date. Very trustworthy and will go the extra mile to make things work for you. She provided us with reassurance and comfort especially in times being the 'middle person' between both sides of the solicitors, and agents which can be a stressful position to be in but she did it with ease which made things much easier for as we were busy packing and preparing for the move. She provided us with clear communication and made sure to follow up on enquiries promptly. I cannot speak any more highly of Maria. Our original buyer had pulled out of the process, so Maria was very quick and efficient to contact potential buyers on the same day and arrange viewings promptly which helped to move forward in the process
David Graff is patient and does work towards your needs. He also liaised with all the relevant contacts appropriately.

I've been engaging with and using the services of Bairstow Eves, East Ham, branch for over a year now. Last year it was to sell a property and this summer it's been to buy a property. The staff are knowledgeable, honest, courteous, professional and truly go the extra mile to make your purchase/sale as smoothly as possible. I've been mostly communicating with Maria who is an absolute star. She was always just an email away and prompt responses made my life so much easier. Nothing was ever too much and she dealt with all my questions (and there were dozens!) always with a smile. She also recommended to me get the best gas engineer (Aneel) for my gas safety certificate. In addition, Katrina and David were also fantastic from beginning to end. They made sure I was on top of all the different steps of the process and helped me to move things along with solicitors. I don’t have good experience with this agency at all. They don’t respond well. I was interested in one of the property listed by them so I deal with 3 people and each time they have different responses. One says I need pre referencing even before I have viewing thats their criteria . So next day I call them to provide references and next person says the house is not open for viewing and pre reference is not require. When I try to ask further questions they would just hung up like every time. Finally they gave me viewing time but just on the day they cancel it saying owner is not available. So I asked for next viewing they hung up the phone again. Next day I ring them again about viewing and person says owner wants to know more about you so I tell them. They say they will call me back but never. I ring them next day about the property again without my any information not knowing who is calling the agent says the owner is not interested in you and just hung up the phone. The way of dealing is very unprofessional.

They were definitely super optimistic about the valuation — we only got a single offer in 5 months. The offer was £50k below the original asking price, and £25k below the price we eventually reduced to.
Communication was reasonably quick and Katrina was good to work with. They handled viewings quickly and efficiently - no problems there.
They seemed to know a lot about my exact development; I think a lot of people just bought these new builds at ridiculous prices which have now come back to Earth. Not sure I can blame Bairstow Eves for that, but I feel like they could’ve known this when they fought for my business.

We are extremely pleased with their professional and Empathetic approach throughout the entire process of buying from the very early stages of searching/finding the right property, finding a mortgage, conveyancing and completion. They never persuaded us towards any property but explained the pros and cons and patiently waited for our decision. I found Alan to be honest with his suggested price, Maria to be very proactive in finding a good buyer and in particular, David, who was always both approachable and extremely professional when dealing with a complicated and at times, stressful sale. I've not always had the best experience with Estate Agents in the past but Bairstow Eves were absolutely exceptional from start to finish.
Before choosing them I met with several estate agents and, after doing so, Alan (from Bairstow Eves) was by far and away my first choice. He answered my questions honestly, had years of experience and he never tried to fob me off by over-promising on the valuation or simply telling me what I wanted to hear. Sadly, I had concerns with many of these points when I met the other agents.
The photographer they sent around to take the photos did a great job and I had the opportunity to feedback and make alterations to the listing of the property on Rightmove etc.

As the sale went through I dealt largely with David. He was excellent. Always being proactive, chasing things up and calling me to provide updates where needed.

Very unprofessional service I found them argumentative and rude. they put the value of the house almost £100,000 less than market value. The house sold on same street few houses away for £650,000 last year but for some reason they put very low value. When I called them to find out the reason, manager telling his experience thinking client sitting at home doesn't know about the market. I explained him on what price house has been sold on that street but he rudely said if not happy go to other agent. I have lodge complaint to head office as well.

I can be quite tricky in so much that I don't like being 'sold' things - I prefer to know what I need to know and what is important and the rest I can work out for myself. (I once had an un-related agent who forgot the keys ask me to view the property through the letter box - Didn't happen!) My experience with Bairstow Eves in purchasing a house was a positive one. I dealt with Abdul Moqtadir. On arranging a visit to one property, Abdul then offered to show various other properties of equal value chauffeuring me around in his car. It was worthwhile for me and resulted with me purchasing an E6 property.
Abdul was excellent in showing what properties were available in my price bracket and no doubt fulfilled and went beyond the call of duty to act for both vendor and buyer. A very difficult line to walk.
I should point out that I had spent around FOUR MONTH'S looking around East London for a home using various Estate Agents and not one of them came close to the service that I received from Bairstow Eves courtesy of Abdul Moqtadir.

They were a great choice.
We can’t speak highly enough of Alan, David and Abdul; they we’re marvellous from start to finish. Professional, down to earth and very pleasant. No issue was a problem. We have an exciteable dog and were at work, so Alan offered to take her out if necessary while Abdul showed people around the house. We were away the weekend the house came on the market so Alan liaised with our cat sitting friend to show people round. Any issue at all was handled with reassuring pragmatism. We pretty much left it all to them.
Dealing with our solicitor became a bit of a nightmare and David absorbed all the stress and gave excellent guidance.
This resulted in (for us) an unbelievably low stress house sale and we can’t thank Alan, David and Abdul enough for their support. We highly recommend this company.

By far the best estate agents around! We initially marketed our property via Foxtons and had a very bad experience (waisting 4 months on a bogus purchaser). We then went on to market our property with a number of local agents but found that Bairstow Eves surpassed them all. From the marketing of our property to the type of purchasers they brought for viewings to their assistance with pushing through the exchange I couldnt fault them and found them to be extremely proactive. They helped us to achieve an offer on our house within 2 weeks of marketing with them and their fees are very competitive. Where do i begin. I was house hunting in East Ham for my first investment property. I registered my details with Ritesh at Bairstow Eves East Ham.
Ritesh found me the perfect property. Got my offer accepted with the vendor and arranged for me to see their mortgage adviser who managed to save me a lot of money as Ritesh had mentioned it would be worth speaking to see if we could save them money.
The property had a bad survey and the vendor was not prepared to reduce his asking price even though i was offering above the valuation price.
Ritesh then found me another property which also had a bad survey, and at this point i was beginning to wounder if i was ever going to get a property.
I had a call from Ritesh on a Friday afternoon asking me to meet him at a property on Saturday afternoon which saying this would be perfect for me. so i went to the viewing and guess what this was the perfect house as it was opposite my brothers house and the property was ready to move in to.
I have had a very long 9 months but i feel it was worth it in the end as he team in Bairstow Eves East Ham was very professional, effective and proactive in finding me alternate properties as i had a mortgage offer and they were aware that. They found me the ideal property and it is going through now. i am due to exchange contracts any moment know.

I was buying my first home in East Ham and I had registered my details with several estate agents in the local area. I have to say that I was very happy in the manner the Bairstow Eves team in East Ham dealt with my offer from the early stages through to completion in a timely manner. They gave it a personal touch.
I was kept up to speed with the process right from the beginning. I was helped throughout the process of buying my house from buying, help in arranging my mortgage via there own financial broker who I say was very knowledgeable, through to there own solicitors who were not only very efficient and effective but they also managed to get the transaction through in 9 weeks from to start to finish.
I was hesitant but there sales team were very knowledgeable. They never pressured me to do anything I wasn’t comfortable doing. They always explained the benefits and made suggestions along the way which I was more comfortable with and I thing this approach swayed my decision in using all their in-house services.
It’s a shame I can only give them a 5 star rating as I honestly believe they deserve 100/100.

i go into the office all the staff were on the telephone there was one gentleman sitting at the back named david graff and apparently he is the manager of the branch. i asked him about a particular property which they had a public notice and i wanted to offer higher but he said it is sold. i objected that and i had to force my offer to put foward then he agreed. i provide all the documentation for there financial evaluation process.my offer was rejected the next day. but suprise surprise i got the property at the end via a middle man and i had to pay money for in cash and this middle man is regular for doing this via the manager of this branch. i am disgusted with this practice and i hope this review can open eyes for innocent people that want to buy a home and be let down by managers like david graff keeping a middle man to gain monies. david watch out
