Wanted to charge £60 for dusting a wall. Tried to arrange for the keys to be given back before the moving out date. It didn't cross their mind that the keys might be needed to live there for the last few days.
Insisted on using an electricity meter, cards for which could only be bought from the estate agent directly. The estate agent being open Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM. Not very helpful if someone say, has a job?

Me and my partner booked to view a property to rent in Norwich, after a 10 minute phonecall (seemed very lengthy, most of which spent in silence). Received our email confirmation, couldn’t view the property for around 2 weeks as they were fully booked but we were happy to wait. Wednesday at 11:20 came... no one. 11:30, no one. 11:45, still no one! There was even another man waiting to view that we didn’t know about, so we had been double booked! Also there was no ‘To Let’ sign which was a bit strange. We called Property Solutions again, the man coming to conduct the viewing just wasn’t coming. Me, my partner AND my dad has taken time off work, travelled 45 minutes/an hour to view, and no one could be bothered to turn up or even let us know! Considering our circumstances we are looking to move ASAP, so enquired about re-booking... there would be another weeks wait! Said that I would call back as would need to sort out my rota and take ANOTHER day off work. That evening we were then left a message that there had been a miraculous cancellation for 2 days time, called back the next morning and that appointment had gone. So back to square one.
So unprofessional, slow, unapologetic and terrible customer service. So so so gutted as we wanted to rent this property, but first impressions say a lot and I dont know if I really want to pay all this money to an agent like that. Also such a shame as the landlord himself is lovely.
I’m never ever one to complain unless it’s absolutely necessary, and understand some things can’t be helped, but this is crazy. .... Read more
