Terrible company. Do not use (unless you would like an inadequate rude incompetent service) - detailed reasoning below. Used for a level 2 homebuyers survey - first we were sent the report with a different buyers address on. Then the report was littered with spelling errors, grammar errors, incomplete sentences, they'd incorrectly identified where the fuse board was, they had missed asbestos in the property, told us a toilet wasn't working (completely wrong), incorrectly identified when the property was built (estimating it wrong by over 20 years) when a quick Google search would have told you when it was built, missed out basics covered in the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) that should even been included in a level 1 home buyers survey, this includes basic stuff like what certain walls or roofs are made of.
When we asked to clarify things in the report we were then met with the most pompous individual that despite having a lot of experience I suspect thought he was slightly better than a level 2 homebuyers survey on a little bungalow in Norwich. If they hadn't have taken the odd picture I wouldn't have even believed they'd visited the property. This man was so arrogant and tried to brush off our queries as nonsense - it honestly felt like he treated us like idiots. After giving him the opportunity to rectify the report (which he failed to do) we then complained - despite a detailed complaint with the accompanying RICS guidance that he'd failed to meet throughout the report for the level of report we'd paid for, we also had to chase for months for a response (despite a clear complaints procedure on their website that we followed) - but also they simply essentially ignored every point the in the complaint and the response we got was just that they wouldn't even do anything about it. Not even an apology for the surveyors rude behaviour.
Just to make it clear - we used this service over a year ago now and it has taken me this long to me able to write a measured review on here. I hope that illustrated how bad their service was and why you should not use them at all costs. If I could give them zero stars I would.... Read more
