I've taken my time to write this review because I wanted to make sure the facts I had were substantiated and cross reference my experience with that of others.
To anyone wanting to RENT with this excuse for a company, don't bother unless you are absolutely minted, aristocratic, come from a long line of wealthy people, or have millions in the bank. I'm writing this because they are disgusting in their practices and how they approach anyone they see as 'lesser' than what they represent.
They are ELITIST, will not touch you with a barge pole if you don't have what 'they' deem as a 'modest' income, then will lie through their teeth that the 'vendor' has other people lined up or 'the property is now off the market', within 24 hours of them excitingly encouraging you and categorically confirming the property is available.
It's important people read this and understand, because I have seen posts all over social media whereby as soon as you claim you are a lone parent, estate agents instantly shun you and assume you must be antisocial or claiming state benefits (no right to judge anyone who does!)
One of the first things she said to me was 'are you on Universal Credit', at first I thought, why would they ask that, because Universal Credit (as we all should by now know) does not imply you are on benefits, people that work 60 hour weeks get Universal Credit, but of course, it made sense, the reason she was asking was basically a 'posh' more reasonable sounding way of asking 'are you on benefits.'
To anyone reading this who has been turned down for the above reasons inclusive of those who have children, my heart goes out to you, I'm sorry you had to go through that, because I only did it ONCE, I set my heart on a property and they snatched it from me in such a judgemental fashion, I won't be going any further with my hunt for a house, we are just going to buy what we want. What it does to you physically & mentally isn't worth sacrificing your mental wellbeing for.
The 3 bed barn conversion in Gisleham (Church Farm Barn), they knew I had my heart set on it, saw my financial details which was a disposable income of 5k per month, but because I said I had mobility issues and lone parent to 2 children, they judged me, then sent me a ridiculous email clearly lying through their back teeth as to why (friends of his want to rent it). If they think I'm going to believe that story they can think again, especially where this was 9 weeks ago and the property has only just come off the market, and within the email she made sure to cover her back by saying; 'the property will stay on the market until he advises us otherwise.'
They're an ELITIST company, if you're not throwing pound signs at them, they will chew you up and spit you out.
Disgusting in 2024 you're querying whether someone is on 'Universal Credit' because in that moment you feel as a company you're 'better' than us 'lesser mortals', even though I don't claim any means tested state benefits. There are people out there with children who have ambition, on benefits, have successful careers, divorced etc that need a roof over their head or want a better life for themselves, you don't have ANY right to judge them all in the name of lining your pockets from someone that matches the 'elite' criteria you seek.
I now turn over 7k per month, good luck with your 'elite' crowd, people like myself and many others out there are the type to pay our rent on time and unproblematic, those who you think are better will be the first ones to give you grief because of their status!
If you're a lone parent (male or female) and struggling to find an estate agent who will take you seriously after constantly filling out those forms, you're not going mad, THEY are the problem, not you.
These people lack integrity, morals and are unscrupulous to a fault, save yourself the bother and use platforms such as Open Rent that bypass estate agents.

Fine & Country were consistently helpful and professional. The market is challenging at the moment. We experienced this change first-hand from the moment the property was advertised, just as the high was coming to an end, until exchange and completion when things looked very different.
I’ve been critical in the past about how much estate agents charge but actually Fine & Country worked very hard for their money. Whether the house sells within a month or a year, they offer the same level of service and I am convinced that it couldn’t have been any better with anyone else. I fully recommend the team in Norwich for their Gold Star effort and thank them from the bottom of my heart.

We thought that Fine and Country only dealt with houses beyond our price range, but were fortunate to view a house being sold by them and then took them up on their offer of a valuation on both of our houses.
What an amazing Estate Agent – we sold both of our houses and bought one together through Fine and Country! Selling and buying houses through Fine and Country Norwich was an excellent experience. From the initial contact with Helen, to the post selling process with Philippa we were guided and kept informed throughout. Natasha, Richard Heidi and Tamsin were always available for queries and were most helpful and supportive. All Fine and Country Norwich staff understand that it is a stressful experience for people when selling and buying houses and do their best to smooth out any issues. They ensure that the processes run smoothly by liaising with the buyer’s estate agent and solicitors.
When it came to buying through Fine and Country we felt that they were finding us a home that was perfect for us, rather than just 'selling houses' as other estate agents seemed to do.

Bought a property through Fine & Country and it was the worst buying experience I have ever come across. The property we purchased, came back for sale as it had fell through 7 weeks down the chain, we were told by F&C they wanted a quick sale, which worked extremely well for us. 9 weeks into our purchase, somebody from F&C slipped up and told us that the vendors onward purchase was waiting for probate which hadn't yet been granted and the process only started since our offer. (No wonder they lost the sale the first time). We ended up in rented, very last minute, with all the upheaval and two lots of removal costs because people couldn't be honest. Obviously, we lost all faith in F&C as they clearly weren't honest from the start, not to mention this you would have to CONSTANTLY chase them, paperwork was sent to them, which they claimed hadn't been received, updates from the vendors weren't being passed on, and ultimately we were just being kept in the dark. Helen was very condescending when she spoke to myself, even on one occasion she called me rude! Not exactly how you speak to a customer! Considering I was getting rather frustrated, which would be made worse when I wasn't getting called back when specified. They even asked us to pay for a new boiler, even though we hadn't legally completed?! Just all round awful experience. When we collected the keys, we were handed the key, not even on a keyring, no paperwork, no gift. Nothing! No follow up, haven't heard a single word since completion.

We found it incredibly difficult getting hold of the agent and ended up contacting the seller directly on 2 occasions after phone calls were not returned. An offer from us was also passed on to the seller when we hadn't officially put an offer forward at that point.
That said, on the occasions we did get to speak to the agent, they were incredibly nice and apologetic. Unfortunately for us though, the lack of communication made our experience with this agent stressful and therfore would be very hesitant to deal with in the future.

The person on the other end of the phone actually seemed to find it quite amusing that they couldn't / wouldn't arrange a viewing for me, despite us travelling nearly 400 miles to the area to view properties over a long weekend which left me a bit bewildered. Certainly not a company I would want acting for me if I was selling a house.

From the very start at having our house valued through to arranging viewings and then onto exchange & completion the professional service we were given certainly deserves 5 stars.
