I rented a property for 6 moths in Coventry with My lane. I had the worst experience of renting a property with this agency. When I rented the property, this was given to me in a sub Standard condition with the lawns not mowed for the first three months of my tenancy. I was promised that this would be done before my move in date but I have to follow it up repeatedly for 3 months to get it done. This was done by the landlord itself in a very poor manner as it didn’t even looked it like it has been mowed. Also there was a water leak issue in the property right from the beginning which wasn’t addressed properly which caused a great deal of difficulty throughout my tenancy period. Even after providing a substandard service they were eager to claim money from my deposit amount for silly things like leaving mop bucket in the backyard, finding gaps between hooks of their dirty curtains as I have to change this curtain due to its dirty condition which was put back in the same manner before I vacated the property. Please avoid this agency if you can.... Read more

I was meant to meet the lady at a potential house viewing (plus some other houses in the area) and I waited 1 hour and 30 mins and she did not turn up. She did not even bother to call and let us know that she would not be attending or to apologise. On top of this, she told us she was 30 minutes away and didn’t even turn up. Thanks to MyLane for an easy and quick process. My favourite part about using MyLane was the way in which all documents can be signed and returned digitally which saves a lot of hassle and time having to print, sign, scan and post etc. Very efficient and Highly recommended.... Read more

From the outset of my initial enquiry through the letting process and throughout the tenancy and my early exit Gurmit and Sandeep were both professional and efficient even organising the early re-let quickly and at minimum cost to me. Just in the last couple of days I was phoned to remind me that I had not received my deposit refund ....I had been very busy organising my family's arrival and setting up schools etc I had almost forgotten about it. I am delighted at their integrity and my children may have an enhanced Christmas along with my local food bank who will also benefit with an additional donation from me. Mylane Coventry service has been excellent and I have had nothing to complain about.The property was in a good location with fair monthly rent.Very professional and all the paper works are done online which was really good.Always available via email/phone and informed me in advance of any property visits.Because the property had to be sold,we had to vacate,but gave us enough notice. None of the requests made has been fully dealt with by them. The proposed initial deduction from the deposit after moving out was higher than the one landlord was aware of. The level of customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Avoid MyLane if possible.... Read more
