Avoid like the plague! When buying our first house they failed to tell us the process had been delayed by a month (we found out from the sellers), they failed to tell us the sellers purchase had fallen through (once again we found out from the sellers), failed to arrange on numerous occasions to inform the sellers we wanted to go round to the property (we ended up just going round there ourselves to be told by the seller that he hadn't heard anything from Shawmoves in weeks), Kevin always highlights he never has time to talk to you on the phone and finally I am still waiting for a reply to my email where they said they would get back to me in 24 hours on the 22nd August (only been waiting over a month). It has become this bad that we are completing without any involvement with Shawmoves as I guarantee they would lose the keys or something! Ticking time bomb until they go out of business I reckon based on our experience...... Read more

Good team, great service, quick sale. I haven’t purchased or sold many houses in my life and was concerned that choosing the wrong estate agent could cost me financially and prove stressful. My wife and I met with a number of local estate agents in area. They all offer services that they claim helps them to stand out from each other. Some even claimed to have people waiting to buy but we took this with a pinch of salt. We met with Kevin Shaw from ShawMove. He talked us through the options calmly and it was a very low pressure experience (unlike some other estate agents in Crawley). I liked the various selling options that we discussed and agreed a package that was somewhat a mix of services. He tailored the offering to what we wanted. (One of the benefits of using a small company). We had a house in mind and wanted a quick sale. The ShawMove valuation was spot on where we thought it should be and was on par with some of the others we had received. ShawMove arranged photographs to be taken ASAP. (The photographer was excellent and the photos were so good we wanted to buy our own house.). The house went on the market and within 3 days ShawMove had viewings arranged. Kevin escorted the viewers around the house and the next morning we had 2 full asking price offers. We accepted the offer from the ‘new’ buyers as they would be able to turn it around quicker and we wanted to move promptly. So in less than 4 days our house was sold subject to contract for the money we wanted. As a seller what more can I ask for? We had a few issues with the sellers of the house we were moving to, they delayed the whole process by six months and refused to answer the most basic questions. These sellers were using a different estate agent and had nothing to do with Shawmove. ShawMove handled the delays to the sale of my house perfectly. They even went to the extent of contacting my seller’s estate agent to expedite responses. Kevin seems to know everyone in Crawley. My buyers were contacted frequently with updates so we didn’t lose them. This is where ShawMove really earned their money. My chain eventually completed and sale went through. ShawMove were excellent throughout. ShawMove have a mobile app that shows you the photos, details and has built in messaging so you are always in touch if you need to. Signing onto the app was a little clunky at first as an email had gone astray but this was soon sorted. Don’t lose the email as I did as you cannot change password in app and need it to setup if you change phones mid process. Overall, ShawMove were excellent. They sold my house quickly at the price I wanted and even dealt with difficult scenarios that had nothing to do with them. Would I use them again? Yes, without hesitation.... Read more
