Fantastic experience all-round working with Simon Clarke. We've moved within the area a couple of times now with other agents and this was by far our best experience. Getting in touch was easy and we were booked into appointments on our very first call. Our consultant, Rishi was outstanding throughout the process. Very friendly and professional. We saw a number of properties and he was knowledgeable on all of them. As we proceeded with our application/contract, he kept us up to date almost daily and answered any questions we had along the way, which he was quick to respond to. We certainly felt like we were in good hands, so a very special thank you to him. The process and the steps therein were pretty typical of what you'd expect from an established agent, but Simon Clarke carried it out in an exemplary fashion. Simon Clarke have been letting my flat in N12 for over 15 years, exclusively. In all that time I’ve only had a few weeks of vacant periods, and I’ve never needed to offer it to other agents as these guys got the job done! Tony has been there from the start and I appreciate the continuity, they reply very quickly to emails or phone calls and have helped me get repair men in when I was stuck, even though I was doing the management myself these last years which I really appreciated. It is our first time renting in London after moving from Guildford where we were studying and he was helpful, thorough, honest and reliable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. By far the worst letting agents I have ever experienced! The flat was dirty when we moved in - they never preformed a clean after previous tenants. When I asked for advise about the moving out procedure (after the full tenancy) they purposely mislead us into thinking we had given them a formal notice over the phone, only then to be told that we had 'broken our contract' by not giving it in writing - we had to pay hundreds of pounds to leave! Continuously tried to scam us for money any way they could - absolute scum.... Read more

This Review is linked to @Hernan review. No one in their right mind would leave a house how the contractor left ours. it’s simply not normal. And if you knew about the collateral damages of doing such a treatment, you should have warned us. Now, all the clothes that what ready for our new born to come will have to be washed again among other things. To be honest, it’s a shame you are not as fast to bring a solution to this issue, as you’re on responding on social media. SHAME ON YOU!... Read more

They sent a contractor to fix some cracks on the wall. Not sure how, the whole house ended up covered with white dust. Laptops, Leds, coats, bags, etc all covered with this dust. Probably the letting guys didn’t do that, but they are not engaging qualified maintenance personnel. As a result, tomorrow we need to clean the house upside down, take a lot of clothes to the dry cleaning shop and beg our electronics work.... Read more

I had thought about putting my flat on the market with this company (to let), but since I've heard more than a few people comment on the false information they’ve provided new tenants (several emails of complaint after they've moved in). Personally I've also rented from them a few years back and their fees are ridiculous for very little work. One of the employees pester you daily until they get a reply. Very unprofessional.
