I've been with David Harris & Co coming up to 4 years now. As a tenant I've found David and his team easy to deal with and they've always been open, honest and professional with us. There have been a few contract renewals and changes in tenants in the flat I've lived in and these have all gone smoothly. David takes his time to explain the ins and outs of the paperwork and has notified us of any changes in laws and regulations etc that have come in, you can tell he has alot of knowledge in his field. Our relationship with the Landlord has run smoothly and we recieve a quick response from David whenever we contact him. I've dealt with all members of his team over the years in some form and found them all pleasant and helpful. The office has a comfortable and friendly atmosphere rather than intimidating which I've found at some other estate agents. After almost 4 years with this agency I would highly recommend.

We have used David Harris since 1994 . He has managed and let five properties. I have found them to be ultra efficient and have always been available to tackle any problem however small. Our tenants have also often commented how reassuring it was to have such professional managing agents . They have recently sold two of the properties for us and within a few days of instruction found two buyers near the asking price. They were able to act as go betweens between us, the buyers and the two groups of solicitors. I can only but recommend them for both letting and sales of any property .

One of the employees at David and Harris, Robert, assisted my father is finding a suitable flat in London during a difficult time. Robert was extremely professional and competent and was also friendly and supportive for my father.

Robert was also very quick in turning around documentation and negotiations  with the landlord and always went out his way, and above  and beyond and provided the highest calibre of professionalism and customer service. He was also very patient and outgoing and proved to be a pleasant individual to work with.

My experience with David Harris & Co in search of a property over the last past month has been very rewarding. In this process, I would like to recall the excellent service provided by Luke. This company has been established in our neighbourhood for many years.
Two and a half years ago David Harris and his courteous helpful staff found us the best tenant anyone could wish for . This tenant sadly  left  last week and within one week they had found us new tenants who moved in 3 days ago but not before they had carried out thorough checks on the tenant and obtained the appropriate references. Mr Harris is so thorough in ensuring that all safety certificates are up to date and accurate . In fact he even makes diary notes to inform us when the various certificates need to be renewed.

I was a tenant for a little over 2 years in a property they managed. Any issues I had with the property they resolved as quickly as posssible with the minimum of fuss. Staff are helpful and friendly.

I strongly recommend against using this agency. They pulled the classic line "If you want this property, you must pay immediately because somebody else is on their way to the office to do the same" trick (other person never turned up). Also instead of using a third party company for referencing, they decided to do it themselves which included them calling my wife's boss at home (no idea how they got her number!) and being rude to the office manager at my workplace when they couldn't reach my boss who was in a meeting. After handing over £300 for referencing, and to take the flat off the market, we were surprised to see it still being advertised online as available.

We've been tenants for two different landlords through David Harris and have always had an excellent experience. David himself is always a pleasure to deal with and upfront about all costs/conditions of the lease. He really works hard for both tenant and landlord and goes above and beyond to make everyone happy. He got us out of a bind when we needed to find somewhere to live (with our cats!) which we will always be grateful for.
