To keep your sanity, I would strongly recommend to anyone considering to rent through Space Properties... to not. Especially if your property will then be managed by Yorkshire Housing. Save yourself the stress, hassle and frustration by renting elsewhere. The experience over the last few years has been appalling at best.... Read more

Unprofessional and unresponsive. Over a month now without a call back or an email response to application queries. Closed but still posting property's online. Unable to accept applications but still letting property. False statistics posted on website regarding customer service and satisfaction reviews. IE: compare online reviews of the poor communication, high prices, failure to manage and repair property's and question why a Leeds based office is managing property way beyond their county lines. A front for a larger social housing association, buying up affordable housing and pricing vunerable people out of the market. Don't let a costly Web presence con you as a buyer/renter into thinking this is a reputable company. Inexperienced valueless children in an overpriced office. Evidenced below, it's telling that the company have only replied to the Google review below that praises them. Ignoring the majority of posted content listing the same issues. Terrible customer service, terrible property management and repeated failures to effectively manage repairs they're responsible for. Avoid in every way.... Read more

Customer service at this place is absolutely shocking. I've never had a good experience. On this occasion, I have currently been on hold for 46 minutes it has been saying 'you are next in the queue for 30 minutes. Just answer the phone!... Read more

By far the worst landlord/letting agent I have ever had to deal with, dealing with them is painful and drawn out. I am still waiting for some work to be completed that was reported and agreed when I moved in over 2 years ago. Getting any repairs done takes months. 1 I have had people cost and claim to have completed twice but still nothing has been done. Electricity meters are locked away where we don’t have access and if we ask for access it doesn’t often happen when needed. Overall very poor service I would recommend anyone avoids.... Read more

Without a doubt the worst landlord/property management in Leeds. Visits can be intrusive at times and you’re more likely to squeeze blood out of a stone than get repairs done in a timely manner. Expect to take a large chunk of your holidays from work to sit at home and wait from 8am-5pm. The biggest let down is the lettings team who can be very rude over the phone. Been fobbed off way too many times which is unacceptable. On the plus side it’s very easy to get a property.... Read more

Absolutely no flexibility or effort to get items fixed within the property if you are unable to be there between 9-5. With the issues we have had within the first year of being there we would of had to dedicate 3 days annual leave to getting items repaired in the flat. I have rented with 4 different letting agents whilst living in Leeds and Space property have the worst approach to repairs that I have encountered.... Read more

Very bad service from space property got fobbed off from this property I wanted got told u have to be working now the person who's moved in that property is on DSS himself hes never worked how I know this because I've spoken to him tried speaking to this lady at space property she had very bad attitude all been recorded will be taking this complaint further poor service... Rented a flat with Space Property for 2 years with no problems. Friendly staff, always responded to enquiries quickly and repairs team promptly fixed any issues. Our lock once broke at 1am and within half an hour a locksmith had fixed it for no charge. Thanks for a pleasant tenancy!... Read more

Recently moved into a property in Leeds with space property. New build, immaculate place my family and I are happy to call home. If you are looking to private rent I strongly recommend you look at space first. Fantastic properties with the security of not dealing with a landlord who just wants rent, space want long term happy tenants and will help you get into a fresh home. We dealt with a lady named Kat who was very thourough and very helpful. 10/10 service already recommended couple of friends to look at the place available.... Read more

Read all reviews before you consider renting from these people. When you want to rent you'll see good and newly painted houses. First instance that you need a repair that's when you're nightmare begins. My boiler has been out for more than a month now. Communication with these people is a nightmare. Don't be fooled by them saying this is a rare occasion. talk to one of tenants before renting and you'll see how bad these people are. Bit confused and concerned. A house came up for rent with space. I was advised to fill in an application for the affordable rent scheme with the government. I applied for this and was informed as the house had only come up that day they would wait a week to arrange viewings. It's been 3 days so gave them a call to see progress. I was advised on the phone that this property has already been rented out a month ago. I stated I was confused as to why space would have advertised an already rented property. I was not given any further information but feel a bit upset I have filled out a very detailed form for them with lots of personal information for a property which was actually not on the market....
