Beware, Nottingham's WORST estate agency!! They obviously think students are stupid to fall for the renaming but we all know who you are. I've lived in one of their houses, it all started off fine, then whenever anything went wrong, they took weeks to fix it. Some of the builders that turned up would just let themselves in, without any warning and lets just say they certainly weren't the kind of people you want in your home without you being there. At the end of our tenancy they conjured up over £600 in 'fees' they took from our deposit. We left the property pristine, but still they charged us all sorts of bizarre 'expenses' including 'fix kitchen door handle' for £25.... that was broken when we moved in. These people are crooks, they try and be all 'cool' and 'down with the kids' but this is nothing more than a racket.... Read more

Would leave an even poorer review if I could. Same experiences as stated below. Very eager to sign on initially as would be expected but very poor responses with anything wrong with the flat afterwards. Shower leaked for about 6-8 weeks but they wouldn't send anyone to look at it until I suggested it was becoming a health and safety issue. Dishwasher didn't work for 3 months but initially had someone come to look at it- they looked at the washing machine (for some reason) and proceeded to send a narky email. Then finally sent someone to actually look at the dishwasher and finally fixed it. They do not respond to emails immediately or in a timely fashion. They recommended a cleaning company for a post tenancy clean. Paid over £200 for this 3 days before end of tenancy date once I had moved out and then they send an email to say the state of the apartment was subpar and they wanted to charge me for cleaning it again.. I don’t often leave reviews but I felt this one was owed for the service I received. Despite the fact that this is a letting agency functioning as a business, which does show when interacting with them. They were helpful in communication with the landlord when we wanted to re-decorate, and fair in their judgement of things we were unhappy with. However, there was one man in particular that is deserving of recognition, a great listener to the point of almost having a conversation with yourself, but ultimately a professional, humorous, and hard working estate agent that takes the time with his tenants to ensure both they, and the landlord, are content with the outcome in any situation. His name is Ashley, and though his voice is soothing and temperament is patient, his actions reflect the go-getter beneath. Tassi are very lucky to have such an employee and I may go as far as to say we were lucky to have him as our property manager. It was almost an absolute pleasure, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours.... Read more

In short, we rented a student property with the Nottingham branch from Aug 20 - July 21. During the tenancy, we experienced inertia from the agency in relation to repairs that needed doing. Once we left the property, we were presented with our deposit deductions. At one point, this came to the sum of £3145, which exceeded our deposit amount of £2880. During 5 months of negotiations, whereby the deposit deductions were (admittedly) reduced to around £2100, the agency was slow with communications which caused major frustrations amongst my fellow tenants and I - as students, having this amount of money locked in a dispute is burdensome and the letting agent/landlord did not understand this. Eventually, we submitted an arbitration claim with the DPS and the result benefitted us. The deductions came to around £400 (nothing near the original amount claimed by the agency/landlord) and we saw this as fair and equitable. Speaking on behalf of my fellow tenants as well, we would not recommend this agency. After reading others' reviews, I am appalled at how this company conducts itself. Whilst they do attempt to reply to poor reviews, please do not fall for this ostensible gloss they use to 'patch' up their mistakes. Go elsewhere!... Read more

Not for the first time I have experienced poor service in conjunction with my brother in particular from a Joanne Mullard who displays an attitude unbefitting of a manager. As this is the 2nd time perhaps Tassi Lettings should consider who they employ within their business. I dont recall ever leaving a review before but if people aren't made aware than clearly in hindsight it just carries on unabated Its also noticeable that 1 star reviews appear from tenants yet 5 star reviews from Landlords appear on a regular basis. Keep away from this lettings agency. You can do better! My daughter experienced nothing but rudeness and disrespect during her tenancy. Tassi Lettings has a total disregard for their tenants demonstrated through their delay in replying to emails and phone calls and an arrogant and rude handling of any situation that arose. Any business treating their customers with total disdain makes them completely unprofessional in my book. Awful experience over the last 12 months. All the negative reviews below are true….. Fixing anything takes months, numerous emails and calls!! Non-existence organisation etc. No one passes on your messages when you call the office. And they took an unnecessary amount off of our deposit, despite the fact we had paid for professional cleaners etc. And they complain that the shower curtains was dirty? Ridiculous! Apartment was given back in a perfect condition. I’m sure their response to this review will try to contest everything I’ve said… Landlord at the Mulls Building is so obnoxious & difficult. Tassi are not great at all at communciating between yourself and the landlord. They also side with the landlord regarding deposit deductions. Etc etc. Avoid at all costs. The Apartment wasn’t worth going through them, find somewhere else and use a different agency.... Read more

VERY UNETHICAL letting agency, Charged me 200 pounds for cleaning and removing fee, charged me on items that were already broken by the previous tenant, despite already sent them photo evidence from initially moving in. They would not give me back my deposit after moving out. The electricity company charged me 1000 pounds for a flat I barely lived in…gave me a false meter reading obviously. Please don't waste your money, their monthly rent might seem cheap for their properties listed but you end up paying more in the long run. This experience has made me wary of potential letting agencies who are scammers and has given me PTSD for seeking agency help in renting as well. The agency is absolutely horrible and a rip off, would not recommend this letting agency to anyone at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!... Read more
