Was looking for copy of tenancy agreement but they didn't have it. Very unhelpful. I have also registered interest for available properties to let, but have heard nothing back. I think this is an agent to be avoided. Minus 5 star rating.

We were tenants in one of Tanners rented accommodation for near 2 years.
Before viewing the property we felt the website and photos were dated and didn't expect much, however we we're surprised when viewing.
Over our time in the accommodation, if we ever emailed or called about an issue it was promptly fixed and we were always informed in time plenty time if there was any annual maintenance taking place.
Overall, although slightly archaic in some aspects, staff were always friendly and customer service was great.

Does a 3 year old take their photos? No idea whether I want to view a property or not because all they've photographed is the sink and a bannister.

I am a subcontractor, I did some works for this company over a year ago, and am still waiting for payment.. I drained down an empty commercial property for this company, to avoid any potential bursts, and potentially saved this company thousands of pounds worth of damage from flooding. However, they have not paid me the £60 for the service I provided..
Please do not provide any services to this company.

Their website clearly states they offer a free valuation service. When I rang them I got a very unprofessional woman on the phone who said they no longer offer a free valuation so I would have to contact another estate agency!!!
I also asked if I could view a property they were listing and was told there is now an offer on that property so no.
At no point was I asked what I was looking for in a property so they could potentially discuss other properties they had on the market.
literally felt like they wanted me off the phone asap.
I've now read the reviews others have left about Tanners and I am not surprised at all.
I would avoid.

Extreamly rude staff highly un profecional when we were in the process of ending our tennancy and moving out of the property, we had a number of people turn up without permission for veiwings, tanners used photos of the property to advertise with my belongings in ( including photos of children ) without permission. Their comunication was appauling resulting in me having to call twice a day for 2 weeks inorder to get my deposit back, was passed from person to person and everytime i aranged to talk yo someone they " hadnt come in today ". Members of staff were always mentioning how young we are and i beleave not taking us seriously because of this, tanners also would discuss people going for veiwing and express their veiws on them being "so young".

Been renting from Tanners for nearly 5 years now, and have always had a great experience with them. David and the team are always friendly and fast to help out with any issues. Would highly recommend them.

Probably the most unprofessional place I’ve ever seen! Rude staff, very unhelpful and no manners whatsoever. Please do not use these agents how they are still operating is beyond me.

Tried to rent a property with these people they were really rude and snappy and when I called they told me they were too busy and had enough to do and call another day. Said they would take a week to make a decision and left us waiting for 3 weeks! The other applicant handed their stuff in late where as we were constantly on time and employed good earners yet they still gave it to them. They kept losing our references and left it til 5 minutes before presenting our case to find out information about us.

Disgraceful company. Should be shut down. Lied to us so many times. Kept my girlfriends ex deposit then took mine and didn't release it for nearly a yr. Just a string of endless lies. Don't use this company at any cost!!!!

Terrible company. I requested to view a couple of flats in West Bridgford about 2 weeks ago. When they finally got back to me it was about the wrong flat. I've still never heard back about the 2 flats I wanted to view. The staff who answer the phone when you call seem very unfriendly and uninterested. I would be very concerned if I was the landlord of either of these 2 flats! I wouldn't rent from Tanners now even if I were desperate if this is an indication of their customer service.
