Renting isn’t always easy. Estate agents can be unreliable and landlords can be plain absent. Thankfully, this wasnt the case with FHP, Kelah and the team are to thank. Quick response times, quality handywork, and all round reliability were genuinely top tier. While I can’t speak for the entire company, Kelah clearly went above and beyond to help me and housemate. Fhp Living were really earnest and helped me out immensely to find a studio within less than a week!! Finnley assisted me the whole time and even walked me to the property once I arrived. With all the anxiety and stress of moving out to a new country, I really could not have hoped for better service. Contrary to most student accommodation websites, these guys don’t mind monthly payments and provide 5 minute walk distance to UTN properties. Thanks guys????

We have recently moved into a new rental property with FHP Living. Kelah showed us round the property initially and took care of all our questions and dealt with some minor repairs needed. Her care and attention was second to none, and she was a huge support during a stressful time, so much so that her great service is one of the reasons we chose this property. We also dealt with Sheryl via email who has also been exceptionally helpful. Communication throughout has been excellent and I'd recommend.

people are lovely but big issue, moved into my apartment almost a week ago and still have not been given a window key and emails to the person who moved me in are just being ignored, the apartment is boiling and 2 fans are barely cooling it down at all and theres nothing i can do. am currently very sick from this heat due to it being even warmer inside than it is outside and im very upset.
finally heard back, still no keys. just an ‘its busy right now’…..still too warm in the apartment. moved in over a week ago
btw i got a window key eventually but never got a post key despite asking multiple times and being told id get one so had to get all my post at a friends place, ridiculous

I am a first time renter, I traveled to Nottingham to look at letting agents to rent as I wasn't having any luck online. They were the first agency I saw, they instantly booked me 2 viewings a day later and I managed to get one of those rentals. No other agency in Nottingham (I pretty much went to all of them) got back to me or found me a viewing. FHP have replied to all my emails very quickly and have helped me every step of the way in moving into my first rental. Very happy with their service and I couldn't recommend them enough

Unprofessional agent. Two viewings arranged where the agents don’t turn up. Complete time wasters incapable of sticking to a diary or communicating. If simple things like a viewing are a chore to this agent what will the complete experience be like. I dare not find out. Thanks for wasting our time.

Absolute worst agency to use to find accommodation as a student, they would receive 0/5 if it was possible.
If you, your sibling or child is looking at this company I heavily suggest to take your money elsewhere.
Students are living in damp, mouldy conditions without basic utilities for weeks at a time whilst the company refuses to answer emails and dodges questions - and still tries to put the tenants as those in the wrong!
The company needs sorting from the top down before it can be anywhere near suitable.

Horrible experience with this agency, our agent rushed things and eventually left without telling us even though we were in the middle of sorting out our issues with landlord and he was the communicator between us. Would never use this agency, they are useless EXCEPT for Tommy and Greg who were so helpful in picking up the pieces and helping us solve the issue after months. It's insane remembering the appalling treatment I endured from Leah and the team at fhp, since despite me ending my contract more than a year ago, their disgusting behavior needs to be adressed. Their disregard for tenants is evident in their abysmal customer service. Despite numerous attempts to address issues, they consistently failed to provide adequate solutions and not only did they ignore concerns, but they also exploited situations to unjustly withhold deposit funds. I was shocked. This experience, coupled with other unjust charges, compelled me to warn others of their appalling practices. It's crazy that despite numerous reviews from countless tenants, they continue to defend their reprehensible conduct rather than taking responsibility for their atrocious behaviour. I implore them to reflect on the feedback, apologize, and aspire to be better. If you lack the skills and empathy required for this line of work, I suggest seeking alternative employment where your indifference won't harm others. Additionally, please refrain from issuing insincere responses under reviews, as they only serve to further insult customers.

URGENT WARNING.
New investors, New Home Buyers, everyone looking for a place to call home. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Worst! Company going. I was living in one of FHP Living flats. I should have taken the first red flag when Toby the agent who showed me around, was an idiot with no knowledge of the flat or able to even answer the simplest questions I had. I took him as a newbie or to be nervous. I continued with moving forward with the flat, paid a holding fee and everything seemed to go well. Then when I moved in I did what anyone would, clean the whole flat. But from the maintenance report I got for this flat and the items in the flat and what work has been done. Nothing in that maintenance report was correct and they provided me false information. Nothing in Flat 1, 1 Palatine St was to standard. I had to buy three mop heads to clean the whole flat because it was so dirty, I brought so many different cleaning items just to make the flat feel and look clean, They provided me a washing machine that has had mould from the last tenant or the one before them I must of spent hundreds in cleaning products to remove the mould, however never did and coursed my clothes to always smell, so I had to use family or friends to make sure I had clean clothes. Each complaint I made regarding the washing machine was ignored, not taken seriously. All Toby would say is “Provide pictures” that’s all he did, sent pictures and nothing happened, I was left with that washing machine right up to my eviction so Ten months. Because I lost my job and was in hardship I understand I was behind on the rent, but the problem I have with FHP Living is the Bullying, Negligence, False Information and Overlooked and how I can say these are by the emails, witnesses and pictures I have gained. But sadly this wasn’t the only problem that was overlooked. Due to being one or two month behind on rent, I was called by an Associate Director called Carol O’grady who didn’t have any care for the situation I was in, didn’t accept my explanation to why I was late and what I was doing in making sure I could catch up. She then used bully tactics to scare me in signing an early removal due to the landlord bills being behind and it would be best for us all, when explaining I would be homeless she didn’t care and only wanted actions, because I didn’t have a true understanding I went to seek advise, I went to Nottingham Law Centre and the information they truly helped me with, I was told she used bully tactics and false information in getting me out of my tenancy early, but to my tenancy agreement was till April the 28th 2024, if i was to agree to carols request housing aid couldn’t of helped me and she would of made me intentionally homeless. With the emails I have she soon changed her tune and tried to use kindness to say she wasn’t doing anything like that. But email I have does, but what confused me was the call from not a FHP Living number but her mobile, when I asked for the recording from the call she made to me, she said she didn’t have it because it wasn’t the office line but her mobile. Because my complaints from the issues I had from this Flat which wasn’t just the ventilation from the bathroom, or the washing machine it was the damp and mould around my bedroom window which made my bedroom smell like damp and mould, but was always cold which made me very ill. Because i was ignored I went to a solicitors to help me with the issues facing the flat, from the explanation to my solicitors they contacted FHP Living. I then was met with two directors from FHP Living and the maintenance team. Luke Pritchett and a lady called Laura. Who came to the house to view and see if my complaints was true. I was with my business partner who also can confirm what we witness during that view. I then got a email from Luke stating nothing was wrong with the flat. I can go on, but can’t. All in all do not use this company.

Though there was a mix up with my deposit, I received excellent help from Theano at FHP. She was so kind and patient, she helped me for 4 months straight and she went above and beyond for me! Safe to say that if you have any concerns or queries then Theano will be the right person to help you! Overall FHP have been a good management for my accommodation :)

I pay crazy rent in a 'Luxury home' in the park.
I have asked for support with the homes as plaster is falling from the roof, mould is growing & the council asked for a bannister to be added 10 months ago as the stairs are dangerous. All of these issues have been ignored aswell as 3-4 more that I've made clear over 10 months ago.
They want to do 'inspections' on your home every 3 months but don't resolve any issue found on the inspection, it feels more like an invasion of privacy for the landlord.
They also asked for the council to come around and have just completely ignored everything they asked to be resolved.

Morally bankrupt! Deceitful and a disgrace to their profession. Lies, laziness and apathy. Once they've got the money, they abandon any customer service or moral consideration.
How quickly I'm now getting replies after having been ignored.
How is it my problem that the vendor couldn't remove the beds. You collected a commission to ensure all would be satisfactory by the contract of sale and yet you have NOT done your job. There's is also the matter of the car park key fob. What has been done about that?

Traumatising. Is all I can say to summarise how FHP has treated me and my housemates for the past year. If you enjoy being rinsed out of your money, being treated inhumanely by house managers and office agents and also being constantly silenced then please… sign with FHP :)
I’ve never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and carelessness in my life. After suffering with a range of house issues like a gas leak, no heating, no hot water (in the middle of WINTER), no cooking hobs, no oven, no washing machine, no dishwasher and SEVERE mould issues (genuinely health threatening), we received no helpful advice, and were stuck to face these issues alone for up to a month.
The unprofessionalism shown by certain employees (they know exactly who they are), throughout our tenancy and even after the tenancy is astounding. Their carelessness towards our tenancy and situation couldn’t have been more apparent.
In the last couple of weeks we’ve been finalising our deposit, and we’ve had more communication in the last 2 weeks, compared to a YEAR (despite all of our pleads), this is simply because they want to get as much money out of us as they can.
Upon moving out, we’ve spent time and effort into cleaning our rooms and all the communal areas, only to be excessively charged with a cleaning fee. Come to find out we were supposed to receive an end of tenancy form outlining what to specifically clean and shut down in the house. We clearly did not receive this form.
Please do not take what I say lightly, this tenancy and end of tenancy has been a genuine nightmare. After trying to contact the office many times, and constantly being shut down, we eventually made an appearance in person, to which we were shut down again and ushered out of the office at lighting speed. After many failed calls we were eventually redirected to Katherine. Who is the most unprofessional of them all. She constantly spoke over my housemate as well as her parents and was painfully rude and condescending. Her behaviour confirms my suspicions of carelessness as she showed no empathy when trying to remind her of the severity of our issues, especially when trying to get her to remember the fact that mould has killed people in houses.
I could go on and on about how terrible this company and it’s agents are, especially when dealing with younger people, but I fear this review would be miles long. If you value your sanity, wellbeing and piece of mind you’d avoid FHP.

FHP are the worst letting agency I have encountered during my three years of being a student in Nottingham. Incompetence, unhelpfulness, and deceitfulness seem to be their trademarks.
The most significant issue we faced was the incessant drilling and construction noise coming from the units below us. Initially, FHP insisted it had nothing to do with them or the landlord, but later they admitted that the work was being carried out on their behalf, exposing their dishonesty. Shockingly, they never informed us about this ongoing construction before we moved in, leaving us blindsided and feeling deceived.
FHP also misled us about the expected timescales, assuring us the construction would be completed within a few weeks. However, the noise persisted for months, making our living conditions unbearable. The construction noises would start as early as 6am, which violated legal regulations prohibiting such disturbances before 8am. It was only after threatening legal action that they reluctantly initiated discussions with the contractors to enforce the legal starting time. While I understand that construction work is inevitable, their lack of consideration and failure to address the issue in a timely manner was simply unreasonable. I want to emphasize that my dissatisfaction is not a case of complaining over something minor, the noise was so intense and deafening you couldn’t even hear each other speak. The inability to get a good nights sleep or study in the flat really impacted our quality of life and mental health.
Furthermore, their communication was awful. They were slow with responses to emails and consistently evaded addressing our concerns directly and made it extremely challenging to resolve any issues. Maintenance problems, such as a blocked sink, a broken shower head, broken door handles and fridges were promised to be fixed within the week, but we were left continuously following up and chasing after them. Their negligence in attending to these basic maintenance issues was appalling.
This situation is a perfect example the all-too-common scenario of student letting agents exploiting and disregarding the needs of students, but in this case, it was taken to a whole new level. If you expect anything to be accomplished, you must exhibit extreme persistence. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I discourage anyone from engaging with this letting agency, particularly if you happen to deal with Daniel Oxberry, who, in my personal experience, epitomizes dishonesty. Their incompetence, deceitfulness, and lack of regard for tenants' well-being make them utterly untrustworthy. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a more reputable and reliable agency.

Horrible agency, Rude manager who lacks soft skills. First rule of business respect your customer . My brother and I went to report some issues that have been plaguing our property since we first moved in 6 months ago. Instead of trying to reach a solution the agency decided to be rude to my brother by dismissing his concerns and sent us off rudely. We are the kind of customers landlords love we pay rent 6 to 12 months in advance we don’t deserve to be treated like this. Please never use this agency.

Tired of settling for “good enough” property managers? Look no further and sign up with FHP, and in specific Sheryl and her team ( both Olly and Bren are excellent) as they are truly amazing!
Over the years, having dealt with property managers in various cities, I can honestly say that Sheryl is the best I have come across.
She is so experienced and treats your property like her own. Keeps you fully informed, is a great communicator, efficient, with lots of common sense and comes up with solutions at the same time when discussing challenges, so matters can be resolved swiftly.
As a propriety owner this is so much appreciated as it takes away so much of the stress when renting out your property.

We needed to move from the south to Nottingham, and were seeking a property in "The Park". Jason Cook and his team at FHP went well over and above in their attempts to get us what we needed, and at the right price. Jason is a very skilled negotiator and it's immediately clear that everyone in The Park knows him personally (not least because they've all bought/sold with him in the past). Our purchase was completed "off market", which avoided a considerable amount of stress, because Jason knows exactly who is intending to sell what and when. If you want The Park in Nottingham, FHP are your only sensible choice. My daughter ended up buying a property to be near us, and Jason sorted them out as well.

I moved into a student property last year. It was in a disgusting state and clearly hadn’t been cleaned since the previous tenants had moved out. We asked for details of the cleaning company and receipts but FHP refused to tell us. It was blatantly obvious FHP were lying to us. We didn’t even get an apology about how dirty the house was! There were numerous health and safety / hygiene issues, yet FHP decided to completely over look this.
I have never encountered anything more unprofessional than the FHP student team. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of uni students.

I was lucky enough to find FHP after a troubled initial house sale looked to be falling through. Jane and Jason were super quick to find a new buyer at an increased price, which was beyond my wildest expectation. While the new sale had a few moments of doubt, Jane was proactive in chasing any queries, as well as being reassuring and offering her advice when needed. Truthfully, i couldn't have asked for a better firm to represent my sale, and I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

Jane was wonderful at every step of our very difficult house purchase. My partner and I had recently gone through a particularly challenging house purchase and Jane was amazing throughout. Terrible wifi 28 & 29mb upload and download speed whilst everyone in the flat has left for Xmas, countless phones calls and hours to glide and they do nothing.
Mouldly bathrooms, every inch of ceiling is green In mould, seals are black. Missing plugs in sinks filled with hair. Shower clogged with hair upon arrival and I got told to unclog myself.
Not proffesionly cleaned before moving In, oven was filled with grease which set off fire alarm twice and fire brigade said it was un safe.
Missing doors on cabinets in bathrooms and living room. Front door lock broke aswel as many handles throughout flat. Lino floor in living room unstuck and was promised it would be changed at the viewing before we moved in. Can't plug in Lan cables for wifi as they have been stripped and left for decoration. Sound insulation in-between bedrooms and ceiling from above flats is terrible. Slow unprofessional response from property manager, all of these problems have been photographed (for some reason there is an error when uploading here) including fire brigade and mould) from 4 and a half months ago including visits to there city office and nothing has been done. The only quick response is when they are asking for money. Would not recommend moving into varsity house/city or dealing with fhp student living. It is the biggest regret moving in here and I am looking forward to leaving. Premium prices, £6800 a year for well below standard quality, would not recommend atall.

Just a short period in Nottingham, almost 17 months but absolutely satisfied from the FHP service. In particular I would like to mention the good experience with Oliver Cooper when I had to leave the flat. Fair, professional and based on facts. The "professional cleaning" from the company I selected was not so "professional", he highlighted me kindly some details we agreed to deduct from deposit. We had a dispute on a flooring stain, we were not sure about the origin. Managed in a very fair, polite and factual way, waiting for new work on flooring after 1 month the Landlords confirmed it was not caused from me and I received accordingly the rest of the deposit. I really appreciated the honestly of the Landslor and the way in which Oliver managed the topic, polite, fair and pragmatic. 5 stars from the beginning till the end of my "rental experience".

Disgraceful! I moved into the property 1 month ago, dirty on arrival even though they said it would be professionally cleaned.
When I asked about car parking they said that there are no issues with parking and its allocated. Failed to show me that the actual car parking space requires going into a small car lift shaft. This is when I expressly explained to them that I require easy car parking as I have to get out and drive in the middle of the night.
Most significantly, they failed to inform me that the Landlord was selling the property. They have already arranged two viewings of the property after 3 weeks of me living at the address. No risk assessment, complete disregard to my health and safety.
Do not use FHP Living. You do not know what they are hiding from you.
** Again the response below - complete lies. Complete disregard for the law - repeatedly unlawfully entering the property during the pandemic - clearly a dishonest estate agent - **

I lived in a flat marketed by FHP Living for close to 3 years and, unfortunately my experience was bad from day 1.
I was told at the point of signing documentation that the apartment had been professionally cleaned. It had not. The oven was thick with grease, the blinds in the bedrooms had caked on dust that took me hours to clean and the carpets were filthy. There was damage to the bedroom wall, which I gave a pre-requisite to be fixed before moving in. Nearly 3 years later it was never rectified.
I sent copious documentation acknowledging these issues from the day I moved in, keeping email record of all contact that I had.
It often took me days or, sometimes weeks, to receive an acknowledgement of my issues.
And then it came to moving out. After initially arguing with FHP as they tried to force me to employ a professional cleaner, which is no longer legal, after handing the property back, they have still charged me £50 for 'a light clean of the kitchen' and to replace a lightbulb because it is not one of the lightbulbs that were missing at the start of my tenancy but a different one.
The evidence I asked them to provide me consisted of a missed Tupperware in a cupboard and a label. Even though I've provided evidence of the state of the property when I moved in and handed it back in better condition, they've charged me.
When proposing deductions, they sent me a letter with no costs, asking for my approval. When I requested costs and evidence, they were 'waiting on whether the landlord wanted to make improvements before they could confirm the costs', which simply isn't good enough. And then, as stated, the costs are incredibly unreasonable. I received an email saying they requested the landlord waiver the charges, but heard nothing since then, nearly 3 weeks ago. I've honestly given up on communicating with them.
Once you're in a property, they really don't care. Whilst I understand you're managing on behalf of a landlord, there is a minimum expectation from a tenant for things to be resolved. Perhaps it was just my landlord, but seeing the other reviews, it seems a lot of people had problems during their tenancies and over and over again, deposits have been withheld and deducted without due reason.
If you're looking to rent in Nottingham, I would avoid FHP.

FHP Living are the worst agency that I have ever dealt with before and I would strongly recommend people who are going to rent a property from them to reconsider, especially students. When I moved into the property it was absolutely filthy and had obviously not been cleaned, even though they lied and said it had been, there were obvious signs of it not having been cleaned (greasy kitchen, dirty windows, dust everywhere, even stains in the toilets!!!!), this all making it a risk to our health, especially because the property was not up to the cleaning standards and safety measures that should've been taking due to COVID-19, the kitchen floor was cracked (trip hazard) and the boiler was not working, which meant there was no heating or hot water. On top of this there was a massive leak from the upstairs bathroom to a bedroom downstairs that meant that we could not use it and, since it leaks (still has not been fixed) through to where the lightbulb in the room is, making it an electric hazard. This was the condition the property was in almost a MONTH after the tenancy started and the agency did nothing towards the fixing of all of this until very recently (almost two months since the tenancy started). Due to the property being uninhabitable I was forced to move somewhere else until these problems were fixed. I called and emailed and gave them a two week deadline to fix all of the major problems of the property, and informed them that I would be entitled to seek accommodation elsewhere to live in a habitable property if they did not complete the fixes. They failed to do so, and then informed me that I was entitled to leave, and I gave them plenty of notice and moved out. THEN I receive an email from FHP after I had moved out saying that I was in fact still liable for the rent and not entitled to move out, completely contradicting what I had been previously told, and also lied and told me they never told me I could leave, which would be perjury (criminal offence) if this matter were to be taken to court. They also accused me of lying, which put more stress on me on top of the whole situation, which has already caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. It has been a truly horrible experience for me and I would strongly advise no one else to trust FHP Living. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

DO NOT MOVE IN TO ELM WALK PLACE ON CRANMER STREET IF YOU WANT A GOOD NIGHT'S REST.
Upon viewing our flat in Elm Walk Place, I was promised by Cheryl that it was a quiet location and flat with little to no noise complaints. A few weeks later, it turns out the building next door were "excitable students" (Cheryl's words), a little detail she was reluctant to mention when happy to make a sale with the flat and get her commission.
We have made continuous complaints to both FHP and the local police but have had no progress with sorting this mess. My partner works for the NHS, who are under strain at the best of times, and being continuously sleep deprived is dangerous to both her and her patients. If our initial viewing was an honest and transparent ordeal, we would not have rented the property.
It now makes sense as to why the sign outside the block of flats is a permanent fixture, as the turnover must be high and others must feel the same. I am writing this review at 3am in an all too familiar and annoying scenario, counting down the remaining days of our tenancy - a 12 month contract offered when we requested a 6.
I would be weary advancing with FHP limited as it seems the priority of a quick sale trumps honesty and transparency, two traits which I am sure local competitors must be happy to offer.

Jason and Jane are absolutely stellar! If you want to buy a property in The Park, they are the best option. We tried also other agencies but there is really no comparison. Jason is extremely knowledgeable and clearly very experienced in the area. And Jane is ready to support you throughout the difficult process of buying a property in such a complex market area. The service is personalized which is very unusual, based on our experience, for the housing market in the UK. The only thing is That if they suggest you to pick Nelsons as solicitors, think about it twice. They were ok in most of the process but when we had an issue and raised questions at the end, they simply disappeared. But this is definitely not an Fhp issue. We will definitely ask Jason and Jane to sell our house when the time will come.

As with all rentals ive had in the past, very quick to take the money from you but delays in getting the deposit back, it took two weeks in the end. Also seemed to have trouble getting direct answers from simple questions on emails, very frustrating on a regular basis.
One thing to comment is that customer service should continue for the period that you are paying, however ive found that it is only the case when first getting into the property. during my tenancy it was a consistent feeling from staff in branch and emails of "we are already getting what we need (money) so we dont need to do anything further to help this tenant".
For example when i moved in the smoke detector battery made a frequent beep because of low battery or a fault. I'm not allowed to replace because it could be classed as tampering...FIVE WEEKS later finally gets replaced, not good enough really.
also living in castle exchange building is a nightmare as FHP rent some apartments but dont manage the building communal areas. the relationship between FHP and truelove seems to leave alot to be desired, truelove are unresponsive as i dont rent from them and have had trouble with the general state of the building, security and maintenance. even getting consistent bins removed has been issues leaving the carpark in a truly disgusting state. Additionally from day 01 until the day i left (three years), the lifts have NEVER consistently worked, and the lift on the broad street entrance has never been able to go onto the second floor. Seriously consider access if you are need assistance.

I would not recommend this company to literally any living soul. I would give them 0 stars but it won’t let me. I’ve NEVER had such an UNPLEASANT experience with any student accommodation company with my 5 years in Nottingham. The staff are unhelpful and unprofessional. They also don’t seem to screen the landlords that they work with. In numerous occasions they have triggered my anxiety to the point that I had to see mental health professionals due to them and the property owners they are working with. It’s been almost 2 weeks since my tenancy ended and they still haven’t returned my deposit or any of my housemates. They don’t seem to care about the people they do business with as long as they get the money they want. It takes them 5 minutes to collect your money but who knows how long it will take them to return it. It also appears that they’re not making any progress with returning our deposit as they made us sign forms for it but the person who was dealing with it went on holiday and failed to give us any updates. Please, don’t even bother with FHP living and Tara&Tara Ltd. You might as well take anti-depressants now if you do decide to get accommodation through them.

We decided against that and opted for FHP living as we had also a largely positive experience with them in 2013 when renting accommodation initially and previously when buying our previous flat.
Our allocated estate agent was Jane Dixon who was fantastic! Being busy with work commitments she was very accessible and reliable on our preferred contact method email / mobile. Speaking entirely honestly, without their involvement and continuity throughout the whole process especially with communication/ liasing with vendors/ purchasers etc, I feel the chain would have broken down rapidly which I have experienced in the past. If we have to move again in the future, we would certainly use them again!

Their local knowledge of particularly the park put them in pole position and give them the edge over a standard agent. I would like to share my experience of renting the house with FHP Living. They have been very cooperative and professional letting agents. Everything from viewing to moving into the property went smoothly . I moved into the property on promised move in date. The joint application fees was also very cheap as compared to other letting agents.
The reason I am writing the review is I looked out for property through almost all letting agents in Nottingham and they were not even flexible with scheduling the viewing dates. I have to run at their offices to make an offer and then wait to get my offer rejected. But FHP accepted my offer on phone and even the contract was signed online. I didn't had to visit their office at all , I just met them on the move in date at the property.
Fortunately, the property which I let was also managed by them and on the move in date all the things in house was inspected by them and all the details of contact person was provided. Very happy with their services and would recommend FHP Living

I have been a long term tenant with FHP Living for 7.5yrs since April 2011. I would highly recommend this agent for both sales and lettings. I have been dealing in particular with Lizzie Fraser in residential lettings and Amy Vyse in residential sales. Both members of staff are a credit to FHP Living. I have received a consistent high level of friendly Customer Service, knowledge and professionalism from the FHP Living team. Any property management requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. I would highly recommend using FHP if you are thinking of renting or selling a property. We had problems across the long period of purchase nothing to do with FHP .
We delt with Amy on a daily basis her professionalism, helpfulness caring attitude is second to none. Her customer service on behalf of her employer is pure gold and an asset to them.
This Lady goes above and beyond her duties to make sure you the customer are happy and satisfied with your new home .

FHP were one of the agents I dealt with in my apartment search. I mainly dealt with Any Vyse and I had a really great experience with her, I found her to be very friendly, genuine and professional. She always followed up on requests in a timely manner and was very helpful in keeping me updated with new properties on the market she knew i would like, and it made me feel like I was not just a name on a database. This company recently took over our building. I was told I would be contacted in regards to the service charge. I waited and waited. I asked thier representative on MULTIPLE occasions what to do/how to pay. They now say they sent me letters about the bills to my current address and its a TOTAL LIE. They knew i live at the propery yet bizarrely sent bills to an old address so I did not see them. Then I eventuality hit with the bill (thats fine.... but:) then i was hit with a "late fee" on top. I dont know if this was totally incompence or malice Im really not sure.
Now they wont return my calls, refuse to get me a meter reading (only they have access of course). They also REFUSE to get me a service charge breakdown of the service charges yet have no problem taking my money. I will be getting legal advice on this issue. If you are willing to get the breakdown of charges and a meter reading and provide SOME kind of service and breakdown of the charges I will happily take down this reveiw. But currently they WILL NOT reply to me AT ALL. So if you like being ignored, like to hand over your hard earned money and once again be completely ignored if you ask how its being spent then here you go.
Until I get legal advice I will be paying all future payments to a third party and not releasing them to you until you provide a basic service (meter readings/service charge breakdown).
If you want to have a more coridal relationship I am more than willing to co-operate. But as I am being COMPLETELY IGNORED I am not holding my breath. If you decide to co-operate I will remove/update this post.
To say I would not recommend would be a massive understatement. At present. They only communicate in regards to payment. Hopefully this changes and we can move forward but I highly doubt it.

ALSO my father made one payment to them on my behalf when I asked him not to. After that I asked that they not take payment from anyone but me they said "NO".
"We can legally take any payment from anyone on your behalf even if you dont consent".
This is great example of the moral fabric of this company. Rude, refuse to provide the service but will take any kind of payment by any means possible.
Rude, lazy, incompetent and nasty has been my opinion of this company.
If I am wrong please prove it to me and i will happily take down this reveiw.
You can take my money but ignore all correspondence from me and provide NO SERVICE. Way below any reasonable persons expections, let alone meeting or exceeding them. COULD NOT BE WORSE

I would just like to say that Jane Dixon of FHP is a super star. She made my first time buyers experience almost enjoyable! Any questions i had (which were a lot) she answered straight away. She was always on hand to help and get any issues we had sorted. If it wasn't for her I don't think we would have our flat right now! We wanted to sell our property in Mapperley Park and decided to go through FHP Living. We dealt with Lee Matthews who specialises in properties specifically in that area. Lee clearly knows his business, he is aware of what is on the market, what's just sold, the going rates etc. About two weeks after our property was valued we had a buyer/offer - we didn't have time to advertise the property as things moved rather quickly. The property was sold at a fair price where we were happy and so were the purchasers.
I cannot praise Lee highly enough, everything he said he would do he did. He is professional, knowledgeable, true to his word and a pleasure to do business with. If I had to do it all again, I would, without doubt, go with FHP Living as they made it as stress free as possible.

Brad has been a huge help with sorting all the problems we've been having lately with our flat.
He's always kept us up to date, chased things regularly and made sure that people are following through with the things that needed sorting.
I never really give any feedback on things normally but felt that the service he gives needs some credit. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending FHP living for either new tenants or potential landlords.

Totally agree with the first two comments. Once you pay you'll completely get ignored and you will have to ring and chase up and do their work for them for which you paid a lot of money. Even worse when you fulfil every thing from your side and they will NOT sign your contract until the move in day which means if you check out current accommodation and they change their mind for whatever reason- I recommend you get a good blanket because you will literally become a homeless.
They don't seem to work as one team- you send some thing requested by a member of staff, get ignored by that member, and days later asked by another member to send again that thing!!!
Tough and lack gentleness in their reply and the way they deal with customers BUT only after you pay before that to be honest they are however nice!!!
