Wasted 400 pounds to collect misdescribed item from recent antique auction, modern childrens reproductions should be described as such,expected more from an auction house of such standing,bench ends now in skip were they belong!

I have had dealings with Thimbleby and Shorland on two occasions both of which have been extremely negative.
On both occasions, I have dealt with an employee called Rob Smith. In fairness, we have only communicated via e-mail but I would not wish to meet with him personally. Why? Because his writing style is extremely arrogant and patronising and if this is how he writes to potential up-and-coming clients, then I literally shudder to think how he treats them in person.

Always amazing I couldn’t ask for more.
Cheaper buyers premium than other online auctioneers.
Great service quick to respond and all staff that I’ve spoken to have been polite and helpful.
Overall good experience!
Although I’ve never been in person I would love to go and look one day.
All I can say is thank you and I look forward to doing business with you in the future!
Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great place not just for traders. Would be a great place for a small land or woodland owner to purchase kit needed. If it's got a motor and the guide says it works get them to start it before you take it away. I've been up there a couple times now both times very easy to complete transactions
