Avoid at all costs! Once you sign the contract Valentine Jr stop replying your messages. He kept sending people for viewing without sending anyone from the agency or telling anyone at the house. He also didn’t pay electricity or gas bills, so we ended up without heating and hot water during the winter!!!... Read more

As a former employee I would like to warn others to stay away from Mr Valentine JR. The narcissistic, arrogant and cruel individual continued to gaslight a group of 18 kickstart workers, from start to finish. The job placement highlighted that there would include training, and consistent support from Valentine himself, which was a lie. There was no training whatsoever, from the day we started, we were simply briefed in less than five minutes on what to do and what was expected of us and told to get on with it. Valentine Jr wanted puppets whom he could use and abuse and then dispose off when they were of no more use to him. Anybody who would question anything or not obey his every command were told that they were defensive and unable to obey authority. He would not tolerate anything less than a slave. We would be lucky to be paid on time, bearing in mind the money was NOT even coming out of his own pocket but the scheme we were under. The money that was given to him to fund our training and essentials ie courses, laptops... was never seen. Furthermore, the company has no structure, the line of communication is terrible resulting in the agency being unable to let any property or sell. On the other hand, employee's were told to exploit landlords by telling landlords they had tenants in the area, in which they did not. Overall, I would like to encourage anybody who is offered a job role here to be aware of the set backs that come with the role. Although it may seem intriguing, it is important that you take into account this is a repetitive cycle with VALG Property and therefore will not change. Landlords who are interested in lettings, please be aware that this is not an agency that is trustworthy or reliable. Tenants who are looking for a property to rent, do not bother putting a deposit down/money for reference checks, you are better off working with agencies who work in a more consistent manner.... The agent (Jessica) I enquired with was professional and friendly. However I feel that communication within their company is poor. I arranged a viewing for a property and no one showed? The housemates of the property I was viewing were not aware of the property being viewed. The viewing was rearranged and I was told minutes before that the property is no longer available. Besides the positive customer service I received from Jessica, the company was poor. Reading through other reviews, agents not turning up to viewings is a common problem with this place. I would recommend asking for contact details of who you will be meeting before turning up to the property.... Read more

Valentine was very unprofessional, pushy and arrogant, other staff were fine. Be careful when dealing business with him. He was great at the start but once the contract is signed, completely a different attitude, you would be lucky to get his response within the same day. They still have our house key but may have lost it - never responded to us ever since.... Read more

Valg Property took my property on to rent out as a managed property a year ago. I must say i was hesitant in having my property managed. However, i have been proven wrong by Valg. They have been very professional and trust worthy. They collect my rent and deal with any tenant situations and all for a low cost as well. As a letting landlord, I would absolutely NOT recommend this agency. I found The service terrible for both me and the tenant. Communication was extremely bad, sometimes being ignored for weeks. Payments were often late and often came short forcing me to regularly remind the agent when and how much to pay me. I've received complaints from the tenant as well. Could not recommend less.... Avoid Avoid Avoid!!! We are waiting for our deposit back more than 1 month with my partner! Valentine doesn’t answer our call or text. If we will not give it back we will do legal action and I hope they will shut down. They did not register us to the deposit bank becuase we haven’t received any email yet from them.... Read more

Worst, unprofessional and careless person I have met. Avoid !! After giving the holding deposit and agreeing on a date of moving (Valentine literally sent messages non-stop until we transferred the deposit). We sent message with no answer for 3 weeks before the moving to get an update due to the on-going situation (Valentine previously always on his phone now was like non-existant); he voluntarily put people in bad situations. And after cancelling 1 day before moving by text, we had to arras him (messages and call him non stop) to get back our holding deposit. We are happy in the end of not having to deal longer with him !... Read more
