I was with a different agency for awhile and had no luck - it got really frustrating and my partner and I were close to giving up until we met Godefroy! We changed our agency to Acorn and within a week, Godefroy got us a lot of viewers and I got a couple of offers on the table. Excellent service and we are now moving on to our new home (also through Godefroy!) on Friday.
Also massive massive shout out to Tina Skeen who was our sales progressor who also helped a lot in moving the buying / selling along.

Horrible service. I had a viewing with them which got postponed. That's understandable. We agreed on another date and time that they proposed. I went all the way there to meet them for the viewing and nobody showed up! I called them and it led to nothing. They sent me an email the next week for rescheduling the viewing, no apology no explanation no nothing. I gave them the opportunity to explain how the third time will be different and how I can be sure that I won't be deserted yet again, to which I didn't receive any reply. I will not name the agent of course but this is not good. If I had received any explanation I wouldn't be giving this review. Meanwhile with another agency I booked a viewing after that, made an offer and went through the steps to get a home in much lesser time!

I have finished 2 years contract with my old tenant recently. For the past years Acron has no missing rent fee and they collected money with accuracy invoice on times even early than expected

I've Been looking for a Flat for the past 3 months now. I spoke Acorns Letting Agent Victoria B. And she took it upon herself to find me the best property that facilitated my needs. Every time something suitable turned up she emailed me promptly to have a look and book in a viewing straight away as the demand for rental accommodation is extremely high at the moment and acts on a 1st come 1st serve basis and when my property turned up she was adamant for me to view asap and now I have a fantastic studio flat, brand new and 15mins on public transport from work. Will definitely recommend Acorn n Victoria if you're looking for property to rent.

A few months ago, I agreed a lease with Acron, this was just prior to the Christmas break, my review is late I know.
I was asked to, as part of the reference process to respond from my work email. As I mentioned it was just before the Christmas break, my office had closed for the Christmas period and I was unable to do so. I explained this to them and asked to retract my application, and have my deposit refunded. They refused and kept my deposit and dismissed me, I got in contact with the area manager who berated me and belittled me on the phone. Shocking service. And shocking there is no body to audit them.

Would highly recommend! Yousef and Lamar sold our 2 bed flat for £420k off market after we were quoted £385-400k by other agents. They found us a buyer on the first viewing! Dealing with them was a seamless experience - they were always responsive and were proactive in communicating with solicitors are both us and the buyers so we were all on the same page at every point of the sale.

They say moving house can be stressful, but I never anticipated the nightmare Acorn would put me through. It was a shambolic and painful experience, compounded by their tactics of gaslighting me into believing their incompetence was somehow my fault.
Yousef, the area manager, committed to selling my property for me. He was experienced and knew the area well. Except after I signed, the flat sale was immediately passed off to a junior member of the team without prior notice or explanation. Not a big deal to begin with. But it gets worse.
The sales management process was absolutely appalling. In the months that followed, I ended up conducting some viewings entirely by myself, including the ones which eventually led to my buyer. I didn’t do so out of choice. Ultimately it was their responsibility.
Being a first-time property seller, I expected some guidance and explanations about the process. Acorn provided none. Their lack of progress updates and failure to follow up or chase solicitors caused significant delays, especially when my buyer’s mortgage expired. I ended up chasing solicitors and managing agents all by myself.
Their marketing strategy was inadequate as they failed to attract enough potential buyers. No fault of their own perhaps. But they did demonstrate a serious lack of professionalism and competence when we did eventually find one. Instead of proactively communicating with the buyer, I had to constantly reach out to provide her with updates and answer any technical questions on things such as floor plans, lease extensions etc. Acorn consistently failed to take the initiative. I shouldn’t have had any contact with the buyer but it was only due to their sheer incompetence that I was forced to build a relationship myself.
The buyer resented Acorn because one member of staff bullied her over the phone on a mortgage matter which she wasn’t prepared to make a call on at the time. She was intimidated, made to feel small and incompetent and ultimately turned to me for support. This is no exaggeration. Her words in a formal complaint to the regional head.
To add to the frustration, there was a consistently high turnover of staff. They didn’t once proactively notify me about those changes. It was always to my surprise I would call in and find out someone new is managing my flat sale. The four different agents who juggled my flat sale were - Yousef, Redd, Luke, and Nellie - adding serious confusion and inefficiency.
On the day of the exchange, Acorn neglected to inform me that the keys weren't ready, so when I came into the office they wasted time and caused unnecessary inconvenience. After going home, I was hounded to come back in because it was ‘now ready’, even threatening to inform my solicitors, despite it being their fault.
Overall, my experience with Acorn was nothing short of a disaster. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look for a different estate agent. They really slowed me down and, ultimately, I ended up putting more effort in working with them than if I tried to sell it myself using Purple Bricks. I can’t understand how they’ve earned their fee.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this property agency in Croydon. I expressed my interest in a property and was promptly called by one of their agents to schedule a viewing. I agreed to the viewing time and was assured that everything was set.
I made sure to be punctual and arrived at the property at the designated time, only to find that nobody from the agency showed up. I was left standing there, wasting my time and feeling completely ignored.
Frustrated and annoyed, I called the agency to inquire about the situation. The person on the other end of the line promised to contact the agent to check what went wrong.
I was hoping that the situation would be resolved and I waited for a callback or some sort of update. However, no one bothered to get back to me. I made another attempt to contact the agency, but this time, the office was closed, leaving me with no option but to leave.
The complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from this property agency is astounding. I cannot believe they would waste my time like this, showing a complete disregard for their clients. Not only did they fail to show up for the scheduled viewing, but their subsequent lack of communication and unresponsiveness added to my frustration.
If this is the kind of service they offer to potential customers, I shudder to think about how they would handle matters once a lease is signed. Needless to say, I will be looking elsewhere for a property and would strongly advise others to steer clear of this agency. They have shown a total lack of respect for their clients' time and demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism. My experience with them has been nothing short of disappointing and infuriating.

Nellie Fantham was our representative and from day 1, she went above and beyond to help us sell our property! She was happy to chase solicitors on both sides as well as using her contacts to speed up processes within Bromley Council (which is like a miracle!) I have no doubt that the reason we have managed to sell our property so quickly was because of the hard work that Nellie put in so thank you!

Although my process was not the most smoothest in selling our flat, Acorn were present and informative throughout it's entirety. The qualities I really appreciated from them were the regular updates of progress, which from other companies involved in the process, was lacking.
Acorn were able to sell our flat where other agencies before had failed to do so and the strategy they employed worked well and we had offers in under a month, whereas before we had waited several months before an offer. Yousef and Luke primarily looked after my sale and both were very affable and helpful throughout what was a long process (due to external factors beyond either's control).
I would highly recommend using these in the Crystal Palace area as they know the area really well and pride themselves on top service.

Very disappointed with Acorn, we have just had to get rid of them due to poor service. Initial chats went well, we were told they sold another flat in our block and had plenty of viewers lined up - hence we went with them.
This turned out not to be the case, we had 4 viewers in the 8 weeks we were with Acorn. They were mostly not appropriate for the type of flat we were selling, and the feedback from the agent was extremely poor and unhelpful so we weren't able to improve (mostly just said "not suitable" to us, which indicates to me they were not getting the right people through the door).
I have to be honest, the agent couldn't have seemed less enthusiastic about being there and made zero effort to talk the property up or mention outdoor storage (I had to do that myself). Once we told them we wanted to break contract because of these issues, didn't hear from them again.
Would definitely avoid Acorn in the future, great sales chat which didn't materialise.

Our initial dealings were with Yousef the manager, and we were very impressed with both his professionalism and his friendliness. The viewings were then passed over to his team who also were very good, keeping us informed on a weekly basis as to who had been to see the property. They then helped us negotiate an acceptable price.
Once we accepted the offer, the real star came into play! Both our solicitors and the buyer's solicitors were hard work (as opposed to working hard), and Shaheen was absolutely fantastic. She acted as a go-between between the buyer and ourselves, passing on information that the solicitors were slow in dealing with, keeping us informed all the while, and (amazingly enough!) returning my calls every time. A great team.

My experience with Vincent has been top notch every step of the way! I received a callback within ten minutes of making the enquiring on Rightmove and had a viewing booked for the very same day during my lunch hour.
Once I made an offer, the forms were sent to me within minutes!
After encountering some problems during the referencing process, Vincent spoke with the landlord and sorted everything before calling me in Spain to deliver the good news. It was such a huge relief to have someone on my side when I couldn’t be present to chase things up!
Unfortunately, another mishap outside of anyone’s control occurred and there was a chance that my move in date would be pushed back but once again, Vincent was on it immediately and a resolution was found within hours of the mishap first rearing it’s ugly head.
I cannot recommend him more as an agent to have in your corner when navigating the lettings market!
