I had several high streets agents come in to value my house....some tried to sell me dreams! but I ultimately went with Acorn primarily due to Brendan''s sound knowledge of the area and property. He was quick with making adjustments to his weekend schedule in order for us to get the photos of the house done and advertised which he did himself. The house presented very well and both him and Yousef worked well in getting lots of potential buyers in and within 2 weeks we had an offer. I felt completely cheated. Josh was very uncommunicative. I made an offer and I only found out that it was rejected by looking in Rightmove. It said Sold STC. When I contacted Josh he said that the offer was rejected and an email should have been sent. As a woman I felt bullied. Really bad communication and customer service.
The service from Mann, Sydenham, was excellent from the beginning and at each subsequent stage. The manager, Monica Brown, took great care to understand our needs and she dealt professionally and courteously with us at all times. It was a delicate sale, as it involved the sale of my late father-in-law's house, but staff at the branch dealt with us considerately. The sale went through smoothly and we kept well informed of all developments by Monica and also by Clive Campbell. Many thanks to all concerned.
This has been a joke! I moved into a managed property 2 years ago and since then we have at least 3 different property managers. I would email with an issue only to get a response a month later that the person was not working there anymore and no one would ever follow it up!! When moving out of the property on the day of the check-out, I sent a formal request for the return of the deposit and still to this day A MONTH later, we haven't received anything. I have been calling and emailing and I've been ignored and lied to. I'm very disappointed in the service as Doug was really nice when he showed us the house 2 years ago.
KFH were nothing but professional throughout our hunt for a property. Ryan was our initial point of contact, he understood what we were looking for and never pressured us into any decision. Lee from the broker side of things was excellent, and irrespective of whether you choose a property through KFH I would highly recommend his services. Knowledgeable, approachable and goes above and beyond to meet the requirements of the buyers. I've actively recommended him to others looking to buy, and for anyone unsure where to start, giving him a call is about the best advice I can give.
Tried really hard to view two properties for sale with them. Was told a number of times that the agent dealing with them was busy and would call back. He never did. The last time I called the person who answered the phone told me he had already passed on the message and put the phone down on me! Bought a property with Pedder down the road in the end who were prompt, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. If you're selling with KFH and not getting many viewings, it may be because they're hugely incompetent rather than lack of interest in your property!
A huge thank you to Jack for his help and patience in helping us finding our first flat in Beckenham. The service and attention to details were absolutely fantastic and the flat is the perfect fit for us! Jack has also been extremely helpful and flexible in arranging last minute viewings to suit our busy work schedules. Finding the perfect flat especially outside London can be challenging but he has made the whole process very smooth and effortless for us with his friendliness, professionalism and expertise. Highly recommended!
Sorry for the nice people working there, but what a disaster of a company!
We found the flat we wanted through L&R, but looking run down. Offered the landlord to repaint it providing he does his share of works, like replacing a broken glass window overhanging the door way, removing the black mould impregnated all over the worktop, etc. We were promissed it would be done. The day we were given the keys, we realized that absolutely nothing had been done, that the unfurnished flat was left with old broken furniture and belongings, a gas canister abandoned outside hidden behind the shed, flush not working, boiler leaking, no inventory was ever made, nobody visited the flat after the previous tenant left.
We found another flat since, but we will never go close to Langford & Russell ever again.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Foxtons. After trying to sell my flat for three months with another estate agent who only managed 5 viewings during that period, I decided to switch to Foxtons. I really wish I'd gone with them to begin with! Simon Darvill at Crystal Palace branch was my agent and immediately got to work organising viewings. I got dozens of people through the door and the offers soon came in. The online portal was also particularly good, allowing me to check feedback from viewings whenever I wanted and see what viewings were scheduled. Simon has been hugely helpful, incredibly patient and offered top notch service. If you're looking to sell a property, he's the man for the job!
Horrendous service. After arranging a viewing the lettings agent didn't show up. When speaking to a person in the office, who must have been on their first day on earth judging by their lack of ability to speak coherently with another person, we were given a number to call which "we think.....is the person you're meant to be meeting". Multiple unanswered calls and messages later we gave up waiting and left. Such a shame because the pictures of the flat looked great....
We were helped by a wonderful lady called Charlotte Duggin who was so helpful and professional throughout. We ended up finding our perfect place and we're so grateful for all the wonderful help and support that Charlotte gave us.
Will definitely be in touch with Charlotte again for our next move.
Terrible, disorganized and most outrageously rude - can't get hold of anyone, and when you do, you wish you never had. Surprising in the current competitive environment that a company can have such contempt towards, and disregard for, their customers.
