We went to view a plot of land advertised for sale but had in fact been under offer for long enough to have exchanged before we viewed! “Let me tell you how Land Sales work” spoke the chap on the phone despite the fact I was asking a question posed by my Solicitor who is an expert and a professional. I would avoid a firm/salesperson like this at all costs. Upset is an understatement.... Read more

Buyers please, please beware. These guys buy farmland, usually Green Belt, parcel it up into small lots then sell it off at a big profit for themselves. They lead you to believe that the land is ripe for development and that you’ll make a lot of money. Yes, the small print says that it’s subject to planning permission, but don’t be fooled. AONB can’t be touched, Green Belt can only be used for agriculture, and AGLV is usually protected too. They are after a fast buck and will mislead you to do it. Before you buy from them, check with the local council what the restrictions are on the land. It’ll save you a packet.... Read more
