25th Nov 2019 (6 years ago)I first met Gareth of the Marshalswick Bradford and Howley branch when I was looking for somewhere to buy. He went out of his way to give me hints and tips about selling my place and buying - even though I was with another agent. The agent I was with made lots of errors and after the contracted time was over, I made the decision to sell with Bradford and Howley and 2 other agents. The other agents, despite all they promised, weren't able to bring many people round to view and I soon made the decision to go sole agent with Bradford and Howley. Unfortunately the market was very slow and after so much time on the market, the house was not easy to sell. The team at Marshalswick stuck with it though and kept up momentum keeping bringing prospective buyers round, despite me feeling quite down hearted. When we finally achieved a sale, the team in St Albans took over and the sale was finalised. Both Marshalswick and St Albans were friendly and approachable and didn't ever mind me asking questions, giving me reassurance etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending them or in using them again.

16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Very helpful team! Just finalised the process of leasing a flat with Space lettings in St. Albans. Especially grateful to Samantha for her helping getting through putting in an offer, going through referencing and finally signing the lease. She has been quite helpful in getting my requests through to the landlord for things like fixing some small faults and getting additional cleaning. She is a very kind and helpful person. Also thanks to Renata who showed me the flat at my first viewing and picked up on some issues that needed sorting by the landlord like a drippy tap and some loose drawers. She went to communicate these to the landlord and they were sorted by my second visit. Overall very happy with the team :)

It turned out to be an excellent decision.<br><br>Throughout the entire process, Mark and the team were fantastic. Professional, proactive, responsive and always willing to go the extra mile. Our sale certainly wasn't without its challenges, but Mark worked tirelessly to keep things moving, regularly going above and beyond to resolve issues and keep everyone informed.<br><br>What really stood out was the level of communication and genuine commitment to getting the sale over the line. We always felt that Mark had our best interests at heart, and his support made a real difference during what could have been a very stressful process.<br><br>A huge thank you to Mark and the whole team at Aubrey & Finn. His insight and professional advice have been invaluable throughout the process.<br><br>Frost’s really helped accelerate our house sale at a time when reaching the end of the tunnel seemed a long way off!<br><br>What also impressed me was how well organised and efficient the entire agency is. Their marketing and advertising was slick, their arrangements for viewings, feedback, local property activity knowledge and pricing guidance was professional, honest and always delivered regularly, with consideration of their seller's wellbeing, during a normally stressful process. Once a buyer was secured, updates were timely and proactive. I cannot endorse Connells as a whole brand, but from my personal experience with Sam, Carmen and the rest of the team at Marshallswick, I'd 100% recommend them to sell your property...
