We were very impressed with the way Frosts handled our purchase. He gave me evidence to show me how and why agents may overvalue a house to get your business when they have too few properties to sell, only to subsequently reduce the price after a month on the market at the inflated price. I've had the great misfortune of both renting and buying through this lot recently, and the best advice I can offer is to avoid at all costs. When renting, do not expect any deposit back even if you have the place professionally cleaned..and do not expect any maintenance to be carried out, despite regular requests throughout the tenancy and regardless of how good a tenant you are. You can also expect unclear, rude demands for monies post tenancy. As for buying - I literally don't know what they do for their money, aside from sticking a for sale board up and opening the front door to potential buyers. Zero knowledge of the property, and a couldn't care less attitude throughout. I also made the big mistake of paying £400 for their mortgage 'service', only to end up finding a much better deal by myself! I can catagorically say I will never entertain the idea of using them again. Beware.

Be good but after staying behind a few viewings, I noticed the agents were not showing the viewers around. We changed agents and one viewer came back and told us that the agents were like “go and have a look around” no guidance or any sales talk happening.

Lily and the team at Frost's were exceptionally professional when letting our house. Through lots of changes of direction when thinking of moving they were patient with us and helpful throughout. Our house was let extremely quickly and the process of getting everything ready for the tenants was made easy. I would highly recommend them.

They have all been very professional and friendly throughout the selling process, have kept us updated and have always returned phone calls. Having sold our house via the Frosts Harpenden Team this year - I genuinely could not recommend them highly enough. From our initial meetings and valuation, through to exchange and completion they have been fantastic.
Buying/selling property is one of the most stressful experiences and James and his team were fantastic and communicating with us throughout the entire process and keeping everything on track. Trudie, our sale negotiator - was particularly brilliant and we cannot thank her enough for not only doing her job brilliantly, but the role of most other people involved in our chain. Without her keeping everyone else moving and communicating, it would have taken months longer to complete on our property than it did - so thank you Trudie!
Hopefully we won't be moving any time in the near future, but if and when we do, Frosts would be our first port of call. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area if you want a professional, courteous and high standard service in what can be a stressful and emotional time.

In 2014 my partner bought a house on the Park in Redbourn and James was the agent. She used E-Way and Trudie Cobb was with her, and me because I was helping, all the way and very pleased we were with the service.
Late 2016 I bought in Church End and James was again the agent and we were pleased to go through Frosts again. Trudie remembered me and my partner and gave us the superb service again. We felt very lucky to have had Frosts and Trudie in particular working in our interests both times.

Frost's have been remarkable! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and you really felt that you were taken care off.
I especially have to mention Trudie Cobb.
We were first time buyers and felt completely lost at first, but Trudie has given us an outstanding service! She has provided us with guidance, explanations and helped us massively chasing up on solicitors.
In general I can't recommend Frost's enough!

I first came across Frosts looking for house in St Albans we visited all the agents and Frosts stood out a mile with their professionalism. Once we found a house through them I invited all the Harpenden agents round to value our house and met John. Again they were incredibly good in the whole process from presenting why they should sell our house and getting the valuation pretty much spot on. The pictures were absolutely amazing and there brochure just made our house come alive which generated huge interest. They always kept me informed and made the whole process very much painless. frosts harpenden and wheathampstead branches recently sold my fathers house in blackmore end and the service was excellent. we dealt with john lawrence and james adams who were extremely proffesional and helpful, john inparticular was very kind and helped us through every step of the way. i cant reccomend frosts enough.

As an experienced Landlord with properties in Harpenden, St. Albans and surrounding areas, I was most impressed with the professional and helpful approach adopted by Lily Fowler and Rose Johnson, at respectively Frosts Harpenden and St. Albans offices. In late summer 2016 I requested Frosts market for letting two high quality Victorian terrace cottages, due to their local market reputation for amply matching the right tenant to a particular property. They both quickly gained a detailed appreciation of the required matching criteria and delivered same in a pleasing time frame. An excellent all round service.

I have recently rented out my house for the first time with Frosts Harpenden. I was pleasantly surprised that the team were able to secure fantastic tenants within such a short time frame.
After opting for Frosts to fully manage the property, Lily and her team have been very helpful and on hand throughout the process, advising and explaining all legalities included regards safety checks on gas and electricity. Also arranging work to be completed on the property and a full inventory prior to the tenants moving in.
I would highly recommend Frosts Harpenden for an efficient, relatable and profesional service.

From the outset, David at Frosts was very approachable and sympathetic to our particular circumstances. I already had a idea of how I wanted the property to be marketed and we talked this through as well as other options, but agreed that a single Open Day for viewing, followed by a time limited 'Best Bid' should (and did) result in a smooth and speedy sale at a price which we were very happy with. Events however over took us and delays were inevitably encountered when we needed to obtain a Grant of Probate. David and his team's support throughout this difficult period was fantastic, there was no pestering, we simply kept in touch on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to 'touch base', and the buyers were kept informed all the way through. Once things started to move again, we were able to Exchange and Complete in a short period of time and again David and his team were fantastic and everything went through smoothly with regular liaison taking place with our Conveyancers (Frosts Conveyancing). They even helped to find a last minute 'house clearer' at a very reasonable cost who came the same day to take some last minute overlooked items away. In all, exceptional service - David didn't even mind when I inadvertently called him whilst he was on Paternity Leave!
I would highly recommend using Frosts Harpenden. They are professional, courteous, easy to relate to and in my opinion were the very opposite of the stereo-typical Estate Agent. They helped collect necessary paperwork and when needed, scanned these for us electronically for transmission to our Conveyancers.
The selling of the family home is often not easy, but David and his team never lost sight of this and helped whenever and where-ever they could.
