Our experience with Whitegates has been exceptional! I've already started recommending them to friends because of Amy and Maxine's attentiveness, excellent customer service, and attention to detail. From out very first viewing I knew this agency was the one for us. All the way through the application process Amy was readily available if we had questions and went above and beyond. After a poor experience with another York agency we'd lost hope and Whitegates certainly changed our opinion! Not to mention the lowest agency fees we've seen! From the first inquiry and meeting the support and encouragement from Whitegates has been superb. Maxine visited the house soon after purchase and gave advice on improvements. Maxine and her team at Whitegates are absolutely superb... They are professional, helpful, knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. As a Landlord you need a agent who you can trust, an agent that has your best interests at heart and an agent who just makes everything easy and straightforward, Whitegates do that and more. I would like to express my satisfaction with the entire team at Whitegates in York for their professionalism, speed of service and attention to detail. Their management style is direct and courteous towards tenants and landlords alike, something which seems to be lacking at other leading rental agencies in York. I can fully recommend their full property management service for all the above reasons and for their individual management style. As a first time landlord Whitegates have made letting a property a smooth and stress free process for me. All legalities have been clearly explained by Maxine without using industry jargon and she has always does what she says she will do.... something that is not common in the service industry. Phone calls were made and returned promptly and all correspondence was sent to me on schedule. The managed tenancy is now underway and I am confident that any issues that arise with either the property or the tenants will be dealt with swiftly and professionally by Whitegates.
