I cannot recommend Whitegates Macclesfield highly enough! As a landlord, finding the right tenant who aligns with my expectations has always been a challenge, and I’ve been let down by several estate agents in the past. However, Whitegates has completely exceeded my expectations.

Just moved into a rental property, Molly and Abbie have been absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for them, I was quite demanding and they were so kind and thoughtful and made my move easier than I anticipated, can't thank them enough, are a credit to Whitegates.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Lisa at Whitegates Heanor. Lisa was polite, explained everything to me and answered all my questions. She was incredibly personable and went above and beyond to help myself and my housemate while we were looking at potential rental properties and viewings. I would highly recommend Whitegates and Lisa to anyone and everyone! Thank you so much again for all your help.

The house we are selling was bought through Whitegates Cleckheaton and had found them very helpful , so when we put it up for sale we went back to the them. After 10 months and a variety of "problems" [being asked to conduct viewing ourselves, not getting constructive feedback etc] we reluctantly cancelled with them .

I would never recommend it to anyone unless he is my enemy ????.
Sharing my true experience which will be helpful to anyone.
I had the worst experience with this letting agency. I stayed in the property almost 2 and half yrs .Regularly they were doing the inspection and found everything well maintained which they used to say verbally. But funny when I vacated the house they wanted to deduct 75% of the deposit saying that I have not maintained the house . What a shame , if the house was not maintained they should have informed me after the inspection. But I think they had different plans as I asked for evidence but was not shared and was told that they are not obliged to give inspection feedback.
Finally ,I had to go to dps to get a deposit back which took a long time . I would recommend to be extremely careful with this letting agency .
Also, owners use to visit property without any information in advance. When I in fact informed the letting agency which seems to fall on deaf ears.
Some of the things were extremely good but my vacating the house was extremely disappointing . Though, I am giving one star as one staff member was very good who listened to the concern and addressed the issues immediately.
But I think people are in higher positions are not fair leadership .One funny thing is one person works 1-2 days a week and everything needs to hold up for a special person to come and make decisions .
But since it is a matter of money I would recommend to be extremely careful as they do not even acknowledge the agreement. Personally if someone asks me to recommend, I would say save yourself mate .
If you have to do business with them, you can capture all the videos, photos and whatever possible as evidence and keep all the communication on mail so that vacating the house at the end of the contract is easy and smooth .
Do not go by their kind words and friendly behaviour. It could be deceiving and can cost you badly.
