Was looking for a student house in notts and was shown the house we inquired about but they also showed us 2 other houses and one of the houses we fell in love with straight away!! It was exactly what we were looking for! And we never would have found it without them. Very helpful, friendly and flexible with deposit payment!!

Shower wasn’t working when I moved in for one day which was fine, I didn’t mind or act problematic at all, but a month in and the shower stopped working once more, after many complaints it’s took 1 month for the shower to get fixed, also never got aggressive or abusive and cooperated. Reread the tendency agreement and clearly stated Tennent is due to compensation if any part of the house is uninhabitable etc, asked for compensation was rejected. Stayed cooperative and never aggressive. Asked for compensation from Luke Norman who was in charge of the property again and didn’t get a response. As well as not having a fire alarm for the first three months of tenancy which the landlord was aware of and presumably ignored until three months in which is a breach of contract. Asked for compensation. Again rejected. Wouldn’t recommend for students their treatment was poor and exploitive.
Update:
Saying all of our fire alarms were functional is a blatant lie with all due respect I provided proof that the fire alarm in the entrance was missing for all of our first term (september-December) happy to provide evidence once more. In reference to the bathroom, we are paying for 3 showers in the house and for a prolonged period of time we only had 2, therefore I don’t understand how we would not be compensated as such as we did not receive the facilities we were paying for in this case the three showers, in no way was this about the money it was simply a response to what we felt like was advantageous behavior by the letting agency the and landlord.

Landlord still to this day is threatening via text over money that is NOT owed. This is due to my partner STOPPING working for his years ago. Lettings agents aren’t useful in the slightest, won’t listen or help resolve the issue, instead sending letter to our new address which was NEVER given to them, the landlord followed my partner home from work to find out where we now live??

I saw the Broomhill rd, Hucknall house share on right move and it looks nothing like the photos. The curtains were torn and the room was tired looking. The bed needed a new mattress. Definitely not for working professionals
