They had someone in mind when I instructed them and in fact a sale was agreed before it even went on to the market! Their sales progressor was then invaluable in making sure the process made it through to completion.
10th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Things were perfectly fine at the start, but the tone shifted quite noticeably by the end. Once I handed in my notice, it felt like I was just something to move along quickly, simply because I was no longer a customer. The end of the tenancy came across as rushed and a bit impersonal, which made an already stressful process more so than it needed to be, and ultimately ruined what had otherwise been a good experience renting with them. Overall, not the best - but glad that's no longer something I have to deal with.

Shavaie was always easily accessible with very prompt replies to queries. In the latter stages of the purchase process, we felt like the agents were keeping on top of everything with good overview, and ultimately everything went completely smoothly. Thank you!

I regularly received updates, and throughout the process I felt able to call/email for advice and always received quick responses. I would definitely recommend for selling property!

They guided us through the whole journey with kindness and patience. We had weekly phone updates throughout the process. They definitely took the pressure away from us. We trusted them with keys and alarm codes to the property for viewing purposes and they always left the property secure. Debbie from the sales progression team was extremely helpful and I looked forward to her friendly chats. Many thanks.

There was no hard sell, which we had encountered from another local company, just a friendly professional approach to getting the best sale for us. When the sale had been agreed, she put us in touch with a solicitor who was able to process the sale quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend these estate agents.

1st May 2026 (4 days ago)I would like to take the opportunity of thanking the staff of Tristrams Estate and letting for the sale of my property. In particular I would like to thank Marta for her professional approach to all the aspects of selling the property, in particular, keeping me informed, negotiating and finally selling the property. After the sale was completed, it was then passed over to kirsten, who overseas the completion of the sale, kirsten deals with the solicitors, on both sides which is quite a difficult task, once again very professional and kept me informed from start to finish, so thankyou once again Mr A Meakin
3rd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Avoid!! We have had very little interaction with this Estate agent in 2 months. We were warned not to go with them, lesson learned. They are masisvely understaffed and its very rare the phone is picked up.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
