The sale took a very long time however this was no fault of the agent however I did find communication with the buyer seemed to be a bit conflicting

Oakmans over-valued our property to begin with so we had to stop the price by £10k after getting no views. They were inconsistent in providing feedback from viewings and didn’t let us know when viewings were cancelled. They also didn’t put up a ‘for sale’ sign despite me asking several times. However, they were polite and helpful when I contacted them and seemed to be proactive at contacting potential buyers. Unfortunately the house did not sell and we have taken it off the market.

I found Oakhams very friendly and always checking up on me and informing me how my house was doing regards to viewings etc etc and most of all the advertising on line was amazing . I shall be recommending them to my friend . He wants to sell his house soon .

Unfortunately the house did not sell with this agent and then I had to relist with another. Initially I was told the house was worth 250 and would sell in that area no problem, after a couple of weeks I have to reduced to 240, then 235 and then I was asked to reduce again to 230 at which point I changed agents. Initially communication was poor I was not getting feedback on viewings And my emails were not being answered until I escalated it to the manager of the branch, after this communication was excellent. Personally I feel that some of the people being shown the house were not advised that interior work was necessary and potentially the clients were not fully informed . Very nice people working there, and trustworthy with the key to the property.

Had a great experience with Lesley from Sales Progression. As with most moves, there are issues and she stayed on top of them and kept us well informed and was supportive in our decisions

Oakmans were very helpful in guiding us throughout our experience despite the market slowing down at the time of our sale.
As the agent was not from our area I felt their knowledge and experience of the area was slightly limited.
The after sales team (especially Harj) once the sale had been agreed was excellent in guiding and chasing the solicitors to complete.
