A terrible experience. Several mistakes with the advert which went live before I had the opportunity to proof read it. Very poor communication- could never get them on the phone and took days to respond to emails. No accountability when I pointed out their mistakes. And the board was placed in the wrong place - when I pointed out it was on the floor they did nothing. It is actually still there. A very stressful experience which is why I terminated my agreement with them as soon as I could. Would strongly advise against using them as an agent.

Hannah, Ellie & Richard have been absolutely outstanding so far in our house sale journey, I could not recommend these guys enough. Hannah was great on the first appointment, I loved how they sent letters and a welcome email with a personal touch of a marketing booklet to give you tips etc on what to expect and prepare for on the day of the appointment and photos. Richard has been amazing with conducting the viewing’s he really knows his stuff and gets on great with the buyers. Ellie has been working hard behind the scenes on offers with keeping me in the loop every step of the way. The team are friendly, honest, super knowledgeable and just exactly what we need to help sell our home. After being on with a previous agent that caused us nothing but stress, Oakmans have been a breathe of fresh air! Their marketing is second to none, the photos are fantastic, the photographer/marketing manager Roman was absolutely brilliant on the day of photos. Communication has been spot on from the moment we spoke to them, something that was super important to us. We have been kept in the loop every step of the way and I’ve not had to chase them once wondering what is going on. We could not be happier and would definitely recommend Oakmans to all. We have had 5 star service from day one and I know this will continue throughout our sale journey. We truly wished we used Oakmans in the first instance as it would have saved us a hell of a lot of stress! Impeccable service from start to finish from Oakmans Shirley. From the moment we first went to view our dream property Ellie handled everything amazingly - super knowledgeable and friendly she helped us with every step to getting our offer accepted. Bethany the ‘sales progressor’ (a true gem!) was our constant point of contact thereafter and helped us progress from offer acceptance to completion seamlessly. It was so reassuring to always have the same friendly and helpful person at the end of the phone and a point of contact between us and the sellers and the solicitors. We’d struggled getting feedback from viewers with the online agent but with Oakmans - because they created a relationship with potential buyers, this wasn’t a problem. The sale was secured soon after transferring to Oakmans.
